Great value for money. Room size was great, bathroom and coffee facilities were perfect. Everything available was amazing, kids soft play, outdoor pirate park, cinema.

I know we were in a dog room, but f me that stank of dog. Our dog doesn't stink, he doesn't malt, but it was so unfortunate the stink in the room. Service for dinner was a bit poor, had to keep asking for someone to take our order, but I guess that's the negative about having a dog and sitting by reception, ppl forget about you

Lovely location, no problem parking, nice breakfast.

Bed was a bit hard for us, and the lift was out of order. The toaster broke on day 2 in restaurant so although you could get toast it was hit and miss when it came out, however breakfast was very nice. Last night of our stay a coach load of teenagers arrived and run around the hotel corridors banging the door, when we asked the teacher to keep them quiet he laughed at my husband then approached him in a threatening way ! Not what we expect from a school leader. This needs to be addressed by hotel to the school as this was in front of students !

Beautiful hotel located right a lot fistral beach. We had a sea view room which was the most beautiful way to wake up. The hotel is about 30 min walk from the train station and is it just one straight line therefore it was easy to locate for people who don’t drive. The staff were so lovely and more than accommodating. We attended for my partners 30th birthday to which the staff were delightful. When we arrive in the room they’re were balloons and a voucher for a free drink.

One fault we noticed with the room was that we were located right next to the stairwell to which we had one night where we weren’t able to get a perfect night sleep due to the noise volume of other guests coming to and from their rooms and also from the lobby.

Fantastic location; immediate access to Fistral Beach, lovely hotel, super clean, great extras in the room, lovely restaurant area, loved the beach library, staff were really helpful and cheerful. The surf school next door is a bonus, the tutors are lovely, and the lessons are really reasonable at £45 for two hours.

Parking at the hotel is a lottery (paying for one of the booked places is expensive for a week) and be careful when it's said you can park anywhere on the road, there is a stretch of double yellow lines which are mostly ignored, but traffic wardens are out from 6 am. You might have to drive around for a while to find a place especially in high season. Breakfast is phenomenally expensive when room only. Worth going out to find an option at a third of the price.

We stayed at this hotel for the third time and were once again very happy with our experience. The location is excellent, right by a beautiful beach that's perfect if you want to surf. Parking can be a bit tricky, so I recommend reserving a spot with the hotel in advance — I tried a few days before arrival but it was already fully booked. We also had a small misunderstanding about the checkout time, but the staff handled it very politely and professionally, which we really appreciated. Overall, it’s a great hotel for families and for anyone who wants to enjoy the beach. We’ll definitely be returning with our family again!

The view was amazing, the location is perfect. Not too far from the town center, on the doorstep of the beach, next door to a surf club. The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled there for a get-away for my daughters 13th, she was greeted with a balloon and card with well wishes, they helped me with ordering a cake (cakes by chloe) lovely by the way. They presented it to her and sung happy birthday. I traveled with my 3 year old too who loved the play areas, he got a goodie bag on arrival. They had entertainment too, in the form of Harry kazzam whilst we were there. We used their cinema room, though abit hesitant as it has a slight wet/musky smell; this could be due to its close proximity of it to the pool, lack of ventilation or perhaps visitors using it straight from being in water and seats getting wet. I'm not sure. All in all, we had a lovely stay there and would definitely recommend and stay again. Oh, food was great and the locals are lovely too! No complaints

Very very good hotel, breakfast 10/10, view from the balcony was amazing, very helpful and friendly staff.

I would of gave it a 10 as it is an exceptional hotel, there are just 2 things that knocked down the score for us, 1st the tv was very outdated and didn't have smart view/ netflix for times when we just wanted to chill and watch something and the 2nd reason was that there wasn't any adult only times in the pool so what was meant to be a relaxing swim turned into a bunch of kids splashing and screaming and cannon balling in, which seemed to happened everytime we went to swim.

I liked a lot of things. 1) the location of the hotel and the beauty around it. 2) the staff is very polite. 3) there is a children's corner with different children's games, the playground is a big plus. 4) sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool. 5) there is a laundry, washing machine and dryer, plus an ironing board and iron, and all this is free. 6) in the evening you can relax on the first floor with a view of the sea, it's wonderful. 7) every day there are different entertainments for children. 8) for the pool they give robes and slippers.

What I didn't like were the pillows and beds. The pillows were catastrophically uncomfortable and needed to be changed urgently. The beds were uncomfortable. Maybe some people like to sleep on hard beds, but not me. We were with 2 small children and they gave us a bunk bed. My children had never slept on one and it was a problem for us because we didn't know how to fit them in and who would lie where. We had to put our daughter on top and worry all night that she wouldn't fall out. If you come for one or two nights, you won't feel it, but we came for 5 nights and it was very painful.

This is, in my opinion, the best hotel in Cornwall. Beautiful views over the whole of Fistral. The only downside for me, was a lot of bratty kids, very loud. However I know this isn't the hotels fault or anyone's fault for that matter. So if I came again I would go to their sister hotel, which is adult only, next door. The staff were just above and beyond with absolutely everything. My nan unfortunately had a fall at the beach in the sea, and local taxis wouldn't take us back to the hotel because we were wet and sandy. We called the hotel and they got a car to us in less than 5 minutes. They got us a drink when we arrived back at the hotel. The food was delicious. Breakfast was amazing. I had the eggs royale, which was one of the nicest I've ever had. And my nan said the buffet was perfect. And the croissants were divine! The views from the breakfast room were spectacular over the whole of the beach. We couldn't have had nicer staff. Everyone was always happy to chat to you, ask you what you were doing. They kept our bags for us after we'd checked out, and wanted to go to the beach for a bit before heading back. Called numerous taxis for us. Really just amazing. Will definitely be back again. There wasn’t really anything to be honest. Everything was perfect.

As always, the view. Found breakfast on both days chaotic ..on my second morning I had to request my coffee 3 times before it finally came, AFTER I had finished my breakfast. Oddly enough when I was taken to my allocated table, I was asked immediately if I wanted coffee or tea...but as previously explained I had to request it 3 times before it arrived. Both mornings the salt and pepper pots on my two different allocated tables were both empty. Come on guys.. dont spoil a lovely hotel and overall a lovely stay by overlooking such basic things. My room was immaculately clean and comfortable. All the staff were lovely. Having said that..the guy who was on reception when I checked out, didnt even make eye contact with me, we held a conversation without him looking up...very odd. Hey it takes all sorts to make a world, perhaps he was just having a bad day. Overall yeah I would come back and stay again and would also recommend the hotel to friends and business associates.
