We got there late then expected around 12 o'clock at night, the staff at counter welcome us with smile and was really help full and with in few minutes they sort everything and we were in room in no time. The room was well maintained and clean. The breakfast was included in the price and it was alot and really tasty, excellent experience overall. I was a little worried about how this hotel would be as I always used ibis, travelodge and Holiday Inn. After this outstanding, excellent now, I will always give priority to RAMADA HOTELS over others. Thank you to the staf . See you soon 😊

I don't understand how a motorway based hotel can charge extra for vehicles. How else can guests get there? Why not simply include it in the price up front? I was a shame that the coffee machine at reception was not working considering the entire service station had closed when I arrived, but I'm guessing that's a temporary thing. It's also somewhat misleading the Google maps suggest a room price, but the price paid was around double that. I just like everything up front, clear and not the feeling of secretive add ons. However, it was a necessary, pleasant stay made so by the great reception staff.

room was large with comfy bed.plenty of extras like a fridge,two chairs and a good sized writing desk as well as the standard desk.good selection of tea and coffees with plenty of milk and sugar.room was quiet even though we were on the ground floor. staff really pleasant and helpful.

only two niggles-one the hotel could fix the other is nothing to do with them. as the hotel is on a welcome break site with lorry parking and petrol station the entrance and various roads off are poorly marked and difficult to work out.i went round three times missing exits before i got the right one. the hotel has a small gym but as it is next to rooms you cannot use it until 0800 which is late if you are travelling on.

Some employees smoke behind the hotel and the smell of smoke enters the rooms on the first floor. I could not sleep from this smell and I reported this to the reception

I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort as reading past reviews indicated these were a problem. The room was clean and had everything that we needed, shower was fantastic and beds were comfy. And the hotel was quiet!! Some hotels are so noisy in the morning but this was good. Even the breakfast was ok. There were some shocking reviews but we were eating early so was quiet and the breakfast baps were good.

Not much really. It’s a budget hotel and met my expectations.

Harish, the receptionist at Ramada South Mimms, provided exceptional service during my stay. He was welcoming, professional, and went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made a big difference, and I truly appreciated his efforts. Highly recommend his service!

The room at Ramada South Mimms was generally comfortable, but the showers felt quite outdated and could use some improvements. It detracted from the overall experience, and a more modern setup would definitely enhance the stay.

Large room. Warm and clean. Helpful staff. Excellent location, with lots of facilities on the doorstep including Pizza Express, various fast food outlets, and small shops. Lift up to first floor was hany with all my luggage. Free parking was great. Excellent access to/from the A1(M) and M25.

Finding my room was "interesting" as the room number was not included on signage when I got to the top of the stairs. There was as housekeeping cart in the hallway when I arrived and when I left - I suspect it had not moved during my stay and it would have made disabled access or emergency escape difficult.

The rooms were clean & comfortable & all had fans, which was a nice unexpected extra. The staff we met were all very friendly & welcoming.

It was difficult to check out as there was nobody on reception & nowhere to safely leave your room keys either so we had to wait around a bit for somebody to show up. We weren't in any particular rush so it wasn't an issue really, we were just concerned we'd get charged for late check out if nobody had arrived. Also, the hotel refunded me & retook the money in the middle of the night which was very strange.

This hotel was exceptional particular staff/ manager her name was Agnes. She was very helpful compassionate and caring. My self my son and partner stayed here for one night only. In the early evening of our stay my partner became very unwell. He was up all night with sickness and dioreaha. In the morning I reported this and asked If i could pay for another night as he could not move in agony and I didn't want to try and leave as he could not stay out of the bathroom for 24hrs. Usually check out is at 11am and check In is 3pm she let my partner stay on without moving room. He was so poorly and unable to leave and the fact she let us stay on with no extra charge of early check in or late check out. Agnes gave us the room for only £67 which was very kind of her. She very kindly provided me with extra cleaning facilities and towels and toilet roll. The morning after my stay I had a bad nights sleep due to noisy neighbours upstairs above our room. And also in the morning there was a power cut and I had to use the torch on my phone to get myself which I am 7mths pregnant and my 7 year old son ready for school in the dark the bathroom was pitch black. When I reported this to her she had been Very apologetic and offered me 50% the nightly rate paid. So she had refunded me £20 as we initially paid £40 was very polite of her. I highly recommend this hotel for its services, cleanliness and location . I would defiantly stay here again and stay here instead of any other local hotel. Very satisfied customer.

Sometimes at night you can hear the lorry Exeter the car park .

Breakfast was well, it has enough food. you have to go shopping center where is located next to hotel for breakfast. I suppose otel has agreement with breakfast restaurant. Receptionist gives a voucher for breakfast, and you have breakfast with voucher. Parking: you register your car plate at the reception and you don't pay anything for parking. You have all that you need in the room...
