We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely holiday home. Location-wise, it was situated in a picturesque village near the peak district, with beautiful views of the surrounding fields. Our rooms were spacious, with surprisingly modern and comfortable furnishing. It was clear that the hosts had put considerable care and effort into providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests. The eggs from the farm were a nice touch. Overall, excellent value-for-money and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the peak district with a car.

Can be somewhat difficult to access without a car due to remote location.

The room was comfortable and very clean. The bed and bedding were great. I liked the supplies provided for me especially the milk and biscuits. I liked the dim light in the bathroom that stayed on at night - much appreciated in an unfamiliar place.The view was lovely and it was in a good location for countryside and Sheffield.

Little things - the microwave was complicated and it was tricky to get it to do what I wanted. Little things were 'missing' like lids for saucepans, table mats, some kitchen tools and equipment but I cant now remember what!

Spacious, well thought out, comfy sofa and chairs and bed. Lovely views from bathroom. Back door exit onto a rough grassy area that could be used for dog late night / early morning. (Fluke that we found out though) Playing field/park just down the road for offload dog walk too. Dog pack with cushion, blanket, towel etc fab. We didn't cook but kitchen seemed very well equipped and dishwasher with tabs provided, although couldn't find a tea towel Good selection of information on local places and walks provided in entrance area Would happily return. Spectacular countryside. Very dog friendly

No hooks for wet coats Not clear where could take dog outside for essentials. but luckily as she was barking by the back door we opened it to calm her and met one of the staff there who said could use that area of rough grass as needed - which then was ideal No lamp provided in living room so evening lighting was very bright and nothing for the sofa bed sleeper except mobile phone. Added a note in guest book to suggest a lamp and coat hooks. Sofabed sleeper got disturbed with sound of people upstairs walking about in the morning

A gorgeous room with kitchen double bed and bathroom with a shower. In a very quiet place. Good place to stay for tramlines festival to escape the busy lous festival environment and head back to a peaceful environment. I loved being in the countryside.The chickens on site were adorable. Facilities were good- provided with milk, tea, sugar, biscuits, shower gel, soap, towels, kitchen items to cook food. Had a microwave and hob. No oven. The owners were very helpful and allowed us to check in early. There was good communication regarding the stay. Thanks very much, would definately stay again.

No negatives, possibly the lack of a tea towel to dry items that we washed up, but not important.

Lovely layout, modern and very comfortable studio with all that was needed. Great to add bits for care of dogs and the fresh eggs were a really kind treat. Very easy self serve check in. Beautiful location-nice walks nearby. Thank you also for accommodating 3 dogs at no extra charge, we are so grateful to properties like this in order to enjoy new walks! My pup had the best first birthday!

Nothing, all was great for us.

What a fab place! Perfect for a walking weekend with the girls. Lovely local pub, serving reasonably priced pub grub, and only 5 minutes down the road, result! The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It had everything you needed. Great base for any event in the Peak District. 20 mins drive from Hope (where we started our hike from). Hard to believe we were only 5 minute drive from Sheffield City. Definitely recommend and very likely to return!

We loved it all. The only thing that would have made it, that extra special, would have been some sunshine ☀️(although we were blessed on Saturday-no rain!)

Great studio, clean and tidy. Plenty of natural light and a spacious feel. Some extra supplies ready and waiting including milk in the fridge, which is always lovely to have waiting to make a cuppa on arrival! Great location with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit in the area (mountain biking and hiking). Great pub a short walk away and only a short drive to numerous places for good food, we particularly liked The Pheasant in Oughtibridge about 15min drive away. Friendly and quiet place all in all with ample parking.

Outside terrace area with views to have breakfast

Unfortunately there were very noisy guests in apartment above us...a mum and daughter on a walking ? Holiday who got up at 5 am each morning we were there and seemed to be running up and down noisly before going out....odd!! Not very cosy without carpet...but I guess there are a lot of dog owners staying so understand the practicality of hard floor

Lovely views, spacious, generally well appointed and laid out.

No frying pan, pans too small to feed a family of 5. Shower in one of the bedrooms didn’t work well. The emergency lighting was a big pain for one child too find sleep. He said it was far too bright and we bought him an eye mask. Luckily ours was broken. I would have hated it too.

Location was the best, it was a studio room on a farm set in beautiful countryside close to Sheffield. The most contented looking chickens we’d ever seen greeted us on arrival (and finding fresh eggs in the fridge was a nice touch)

Well the chickens gave us a nice welcome, and all the information we needed was in a file in the property. But a hello, how you doing from a host would’ve been nice. There was no human interaction
