I just spent 3 previous days in an awful hotel in Waterbury. I was ecstatic when I saw my room here. The beds were really comfortable and the pillows just the right size. It was the best sleep I had all week.I was anxious about returning my rental car the next morning but it took me 4 minutes to get to the transportation hub at the airport and it was super easy. Breakfast was diversified. There were excellent whole food choices and also choices for those that eat processed food. Most hotels have red lights hidden somewhere in the room that keep me awake or cracks in the curtains that let bright lights through but this room was spectacular in that respect. I would definitely stay there again!!

Someone had previously set the alarm clock for 6 a.m. so I was not happy about being awake that early.

Fantastic breakfast, and the staff that served this area was also very polite and accommodating, working hard to keep it well stocked and clean. As for our room, it was perfectly comfortable. The receptionist in the lobby was also superb, upgrading our room upon our request. What we initially booked was not what we were looking for upon arrival, so we were placed into a different room without any additional charge.

The elevator was inoperable during our entire stay, and the parking lot was almost impassable due to the snow and ice. Yet, I understand that sometimes these things happen. Time and chance happen to us all.

Elevator don’t work, and I understood that that can happen. What annoyed me was that they didn’t alert us. They downplayed it, and lied saying that they didn’t have a room in the 1st floor. After haggling a bit, then they said there was. Also, when asked about a credit, they said we won’t charge a refundable deposit. Then we said that’s not a credit because it’s a refundable deposit. So where’s the discount. Anyways, not a good start for customer service. Finally, the breakfast was terrible … Again, the room is fine, the location was good for where we were going, but something was off

I do not know why this location has only a 7.6. I stay at all levels of places and this was perfectly fine! Now granted, it was overnight during a holiday lull period, but it was comfortable and accommodating. It's right by the airport and a great place to crash for an early flight, especially for the flight. It's slightly dated and the TV is a little small. That's the only thing I could possibly think would cause that rating. Very clean, nice staff, no revolting smell of pot, quiet, nice about a pet, hot decaf coffee, gym......We will stay there again next time we have an early flight.

The room was nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was OK, if a bit limited for selection, but the waffle maker was really fun.

We were told that housekeeping would clean the room every other day, but that didn't happen. The housekeeper for our floor was very timid, and did offer us clean towels for the last night. There was no card to indicate "do not disturb" or "please clean the room."

Very friendly front desk individuals. Rooms were clean and attractive. Provided a bus shuttle to the Bradley 'Airport which was one of the factors that had us choose La Quinta. Price was attractive. We had stayed there before and enjoyed it.

The next door person talked until late in the night and disturbed us. He wasn't loud or aggressive in his speaking but our two rooms were adjoined and the sound came through the door,

Handicap accessible room, lots of options for plugs and charging. Unusually nicely decorated. Refrigerator and microwave. Very comfortable rolling chair. Wake up call on time.

It would have been helpful to have plastic knives, forks and spoons. The light on the desk was non-operational. Wish breakfast could be served earlier for those of us getting the shuttle for early flights. Appreciated the coffee anyway,

The professional guest services and friendliness of the staff make this hotel stand out. Very comfortable beds.

The phone didn't work. There was an annoying noise from the laundry room that adjoined my room. Fortunately, the kind woman working the front desk (who was working an unexpected double shift) resolved both if these issues. She found the source of the noise and corrected it and she gave me a wake-up knock on my door in the morning.

The hotel was exceptionally clean which was well appreciated. Parking was ample, with large spots and easy to access. Near to the airport for those who need easy connections. The hotel was well appointed with large rooms with good bathroom and shower pressure.

The hotel needed significantly more options at breakfast especially for the health conscious. The options were all cheap low quality items. Slightly expensive for the offering and though convenient, I think other locations might have been a better value.

Even though I got in after midnight, the front desk guy was pleasant and helpful.

My room was right across from the laundry so hoping I could sleep in was not going to happen as the staff showed up for work and woke me up. Not their fault but maybe not put someone in a room at 1:am knowing staff is going to be noisy right across the hall early in the morning.
