We loved the aqua/boat houses on the water! Comfy beds and spacious living rooms. We booked two of the aqua lodges #3 & #6 for our week long family fishing vacation. It was a huge plus to be able to rent a boat through the Marina and to park it at our boat house. Super easy and convenient. Also a huge plus is they are dog friendly and we got to bring our dog with us! He loved walking around the island and becoming friends with the key deer. They were everywhere and it was so precious to see all the fawns walking about!! We enjoyed the quiet nights since the resort is in more of a residential area away from highway 1. Super dark at night so you can view the beautiful starry skies. We Loved our stay and hope to come back again soon! Fishing right off the bridge to No Name Key was fun as well. But my favorite was watching the sun set from the bridge and watching the sun and moon rise from our boat terrace!!

We had to leave!

Great location! Enjoyed Big Pine trails, hanging out in the breeze at the pool, and walking to No Name Bar just a few minutes up the road (got a beer and their amazing key lime pie!). Quiet spot. We could see the water if we stood tippy toes on the deck. It seems to be an older unit that could use some updating, but it was clean and housekeeping was very responsive to a request. The office staff were so friendly and helpful, too! We arrived after hours but we were already taken care of in advance. We stayed in land cabin A; if we are fortunate to be able to return to the Keys again, I think I would like to try cabin C or a higher letter (of available) since they seem to be newer units.

The accommodation was pretty well as expected, a little cramped but exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It was well equipped and served our needs very well. Communication was very good.

The location and general area are not the nicest. Unfortunately while we were there the outside smell was horrible and we were unable to sit outside and had to keep all doors and windows closed. The cleaning charge of $100 seems excessive for a one night stay in a small 2 bed unit. That said it was very clean and comfortable.

Being on the water and seeing a great view of the bay and bridge was wonderful. I liked the old boat house we stayed in(#3). I’d recomend redoing some of the rope trim and a fresh coat of paint. The nautical theme decor was fun, but a bit dingy. Cleaning light fixtures and fresh paint would really brighten the interior and create a warmer, welcoming experience.

We were fortunate to be on the end toward the bay. I would have been miserable farther in on the dock.

Needed a place to tide over for an evening while waiting for our house next door to some friends open up. Liked it so well we booked for another night on the other end for a night before heading back to fll to catch our flight home. Would definitely return and recommend this place. Hoping next time to stay in one of the floaty houses 😁

Only thing I can find that would be great to have is some type of bench or suitcase rack in the bathroom to lay your clothes out on.

I liked that cabin 8 was pet friendly. Also there weren’t many steps, the kitchen had all the utensils, pots and pans, dishes and coffee pot. It was very clean. I liked our picnic table and grill. Very relaxing trip.

It took a day to get used to the fluctuations in the shower hot water. Once we figured it out, all was good. We are “laid back” and this was exactly what we were expecting, very peaceful

They are building new offices and what appears to be a pretty amazing tiki bar just off the bride to No Name Key overlooking the channel. Once it opens it won't be as quiet--but it will have an amazing view! We rented a tandem kayak onsite and crossed the channel to No Name Key and went through the amazing mangrove tunnel and kayaked in the lagoon on the other side. We saw a bald eagle! We stayed in one of the newer duplexes and it was nice. Each unit had two chairs and a small table on the deck and a picnic table underneath the unit.

There is no onsite laundry. And oddly no closet.

Great location, a lot of fun!

toilet didn’t properly seal so it smelled, maintenance did come and tell us we needed to do better keeping water in the bowl but it would slowly drain and then be an issue again Pillows were paper thin. (Although a friend had another house boat and theirs were fine but all of ours were terrible) The crooked two pictures they had in the room was comical If you want to rent a boat beware the nicest boat on the property (the only one that I would trust) is over double the price of anything listed when they tell you about the boats and all of the pricing sheets. Probably because it’s new but the list should be reprinted. Overall very fixable things and our fun out weighed any issues.

It was a fun experience, being on a houseboat. The TV reception and channels were excellent, so was the wifi. The location was good, not too far from anything and close to a grocery store! Robin and Arianna in the office were very nice and helpful. It was nice sitting on the boat, drinking coffee. It is also cool to be the captain of your own boat! I would love to stay again, and recommend it for a change from a hotel. There was plenty of hot water for the shower, bu t be careful, it really gets hot! The futon was surprisingly comfortable. And be prepared, if you haven't been on a boat to get sea legs!! I don't have any pictures downloaded.

I didn't like the $100 cleaning fee. We only stayed 3 nights. There was just me and my teenage granddaughter. No dogs with us.
