Location, location, location! Next time, I won't be renting a car. Everything you need is within walking distance. The cleaning staff left my room spotless every morning. Bed super comfy, nice hot showers. Mini fridge / freezer, coffee maker, and microwave all come in handy.

The directions lacked one important aspect of getting into the room....after putting in the code, you have to turn the little knob. Thankfully another guest was outside and helped me. In turn, I had to do the same for another couple who arrived later. Could use a spare blanket in the closet. With no office, who would you call for any needs like that? No ice or vending machines, have to go to one of the shops on the boardwalk for drinks. The pizza shop was my go to for ice. Most importantly ... The one way windows become two way when it's dark out and your lights are on!

The bed was wonderful actually thinking about finding out what mattress they use and getting one. But the best shower ever anywhere. Hold on it will blast you clean! And good steady hot water too if you want.

Little refrigerator no freezer. Shoved in a cupboard hard to get into. The refrigerator was so cold it froze everything we put in it. The microwave was also Shoved in the cupboard , so hard to use or see the settings. It was also broken, still usable kinda. It was small for the $ 50.00- $100.00 it would take to replace it it would be worth it. To much light comes in the room over night, so bring sleep masks otherwise the light will wake you up through the door & window next to the door. We would/ will still stay again sometime.

The location was absolutely wonderful. We rented the 3 bedroom apartment and were right on the Boardwalk, across from the Pirate ship. The beach was a 7 minute walk and there were shops and restaurants galore, including Bubba Gump, Boardwalk Grille, and Pirate Pub and Grub. The unit was very spacious, new and clean. It has all tile floors, a full service kitchen, with huge fridge, stove/oven, garbage disposal and sink. There is also a large pantry, and a front load washer and dryer for those wet beach towels! There is a small terrace off of the master bedroom with spectacular marina views. The bedrooms are spaced apart, with 2 double beds in the front bedroom, a queen in the middle bedroom and a king bed in the master. There is also a den with a lull out sofa bed. The middle bathroom has both a tub and a shower, which was nice for my small son. Comfy sofa, Fire TVs in each room. There is also assigned parking in the garage and a convenient elevator. I didn't have interior pics, but you won't be disappointed.

The WiFi was slow, our dishwasher didn't work, and I would have liked to have cleaning sponges and a couple of more dish towels and drinking cups. It would have been nice to have beach towels as well. I would recommend bringing in solo drinking cups, a wagon for walks to the beach and beach towels for future guests. Other than that, we had a very delightful stay.

Loved the location and comfort of the room. Parking location was excellent. Maintenance man was very polite and informative. Keep that guy!

Public restrooms at the end of our corridor brought extra traffic walking by our window often. People are curious about the row of mirror tinted windows that are the hotel rooms on the 2nd floor. So sometimes curious patrons will put their face against window to see through tint and unintentionally look onto your bed. It would be great if they had an agreement with another local property to allow guests to visit their pool facilities as that was the only thing my kid wanted that we did not have. I would book this hotel again though.

We love the location since it’s right in John’s Pass and next to Hooters. We have friends that live behind Bamboo Beach Bar so really convenient to walk across John’s Pass to their townhouse.

The elevator didn’t work still at opposite end of garage near our room but no signs stating that. I have a bad back and knees so walking up and down all the stairs each time or all the way over to the parking garage to the other elevator was painful. This is the second year in a row it’s been an issue.

Overall it was a great experience- clean, 2 rooms / bathrooms, plenty of space and has everything a small family needs for vacation. Location was great and close to the beach and boardwalk for dining and shopping, parking was easy. Only negative was that the keypad/door to the room was very difficult to open- we’d have to input the code several times and try playing with the knob to open. Had we stayed longer it would have been more of an issue, but besides that I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

The location of the room was excellent in terms of access to the beach, dining and shopping and especially parking. At first I found the location right on a public walkway to be a bit disconcerting but it turned out to be more private than I thought. I appreciated the mirror tinted windows so I could have light in the room without being seen. I was concerned about the fully remote check in process but I called the number and it was flawless.

I would have appreciated a lid on the toilet seat. The bathroom was small and without a lid on the seat it was difficult to find a place to put my toiletries when using the sink or my clothes when using the shower.

Location and parking near our room is exceptional - room size - newness and cleanliness exceeded expectations. This is our first time with a virtual remote check in. Parking code was the last part of our phone number and we received a text for our key code around 3:30pm - it might have been quite an ordeal if either didn't work, but both did!

Specific instructions - we are talking a full length 10 stepper for using the TV - the remote doesn't match so it's quite an ordeal. Also just getting used to the idea of not having a person on site. Make sure you have the contact number and ability to message if there is an issue... like the TV.

John's Pass Hotel met our needs perfectly. We wanted to be within walking distance of everything near John's Pass and the beach to explore without needing transportation. The room was clean and quiet at night, and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water, but the water pressure was low. We enjoyed not having to contact anyone at "a front desk," and just making a phone call if we needed anything or had questions. The restaurants, shops and the beach are an easy few minutes walk.

We were disappointed by the low water pressure, but we still could shower easily, just took a few minutes longer.

I loved where we were. The living room was spacious with plenty of seating for 4. The balcony was large enough to accommodate all of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good size and the kitchen was perfect with full size appliances. The fact that there was a washer and dryer was a plus. The condo was situated right in the heart of John’s Pass, close enough to walk a short distance to all the attractions. We’ve previously stayed at the hotel and loved it so much that we invited guests to join us when we booked the condo.

There was no WiFi or TV service during the 3 days we were there. We spent most of our days outside but when we were done for the day it would have been really nice to relax and watch TV or to use our computers. My 3 companions and I were a little disappointed by the fact that we could not send pictures or talk to family.
