The hotel was the first "art" kind of hotel I have ever stayed in. It was super unique, and it really appealed to me. I think if you find the photos at least interesting, you will have fun at this hotel. My room was completely blue with a bathtub in the middle of the floor, no ceiling lights (only lamps), and interesting art/furniture. It was all comfortable and the unique features didn't impact my ability to use the room like a normal hotel, it just felt very different.

There were a few minor issues with the room that I ran into, all of them were not a big concern for me though. 1. There was no hand soap in my room, I think someone just forgot to replace it. There was body soap in the shower though so I was able to use that. 2. The bathroom door was slightly misaligned, so it was impossible to lock. It was a barn door so I could roll it shut, but I just couldn't lock it.

Interesting hotel. Seems to be under construction in places. Nice art. Need to go to top floor for reception. Excellent roof top bar. Great bartender, good food and drinks. Breakfast was excellent. The room was small and painted very dark blue but had a good bathroom and great views. The place was super clean.

The soaps and shampoo, etc. are a very strange combo of fragrances and I didn't like the smell. No hand soap. The shaving mirror is hung way too low. The bed comfort was so-so. The whole place including ceiling was very dark blue which made the room seem even smaller than it was.

An amazing escape within plain sight is met by an even more amazing team at Angad Arts Hotel - St. Louis. Having stumbled into town after an exceptionally delayed flight, I was pleased to arrive here and be greeted by warm smiles and Southern hospitality. Each of which were necessary whilst traveling with my Mom to visit my Grandmother who.....to be truthful, wasn't expecting to make it. Affording decently priced, let alone secure onsite parking, the rooms here are copious and the location; directly affront the St. Louis Jazz Lounge and Fox Theater, coupled by a handful of onsite nosheries, has afforded this enclave a 5th and final star! My Mother and I truly look forward to our next stay within our home away from home and we emphatically have this hotel and it's team of consummate professionals to thank!

Not a one.

Location was perfect for a night at the Fox - it's literally across the street. I felt safe, well lit streets, and secure entrance to our hotel. The breakfast was really good, but very slow... It seemed understaffed, but our waiter was great. Just took a really long time to have breakfast. The colorful rooms were fun, and inviting! The light fixtures were unique and dimmable which I loved. The suite had an awesome living room/kitchen area which was perfect for hanging in the room. Fastest elevators ever!! We hardly had to wait, and they zipped us to our floor!

The smell of the cleaning items used was so potent we had to crack the door for an hour. LOL! (at least we knew it was clean!). The walls seem thin, every noise was audible (bring a sound machine). There were NO shops nearby to get water, snacks, etc - so you have to buy from a super small selection at the check-in desk. No vending machines or little hotel store at all. The rooftop was closed for a private event, which we had no prior notice of - so that was a bummer. When events are being held at the FOX right next door, you also would think their bar would stay open for returning guests post-show, but they were not.

Beautiful rooms with breathtaking view. Unique experience. Quirky details. Rooftop bar (not really for families past 7 lol felt like we were interrupting a club party, wish we'd been warned we were just hungry). Lots of art and music. The comfiest bed and nice bathroom and shower.

Staff was short with us when we just wanted basic guidance. Didn't exactly feel welcome. If we asked any question we were made to feel stupid. Only one friendly person and thats when we checked out. Really killed the otherwise cool vibe. Room was very small. Could barely walk around the bed.

The location is amazing. Two blocks down a phenomenal dog park full of metal sculptures. Next-door, a jazz, music venue, and beautiful park. I love the room and the modern bathroom. The view of the St. Louis arch was amazing. As was the rooftop bar, where they let me bring my French bulldog out on the balcony with me.

They’re undergoing renovations, so there wasn’t really much of a lobby. There wasn’t anyone to call when you had a question, I had to go up to the 12th floor and talk to the girl who checks in new people.

The staff was excellent at check-in and in the bar upstairs. Housekeeping checked in on us and made sure we had plenty of coffee and towels. Our room was spotless, air conditioning was nice and cold, and we both slept well in the bed. I especially liked how quiet our room was with very little hall noise, and despite being across from the elevator, we never heard anything. I dread hallway noise, light, and there was absolutely none. The rooftop bar and DJ were so cool and a great way to hang out with friends after dinner to celebrate my birthday. Very diverse crowd with some people dressed more casual and some more formal. Drinks were great. I had a lavender and gin drink that I wish I had again right now. Friendly bar staff and quick service.

It's totally nothing the hotel could control, but there were several very loud vehicles that could be heard outside. We stayed on a weekend in the summer, so my guess is it may have been some motorcycles or performance cars. A little more traffic noise because of it being within the city but parking was safe and well lit and private which were all positives.

Loved the decor. The vibe was fun! The restaurant was really good. The bed was comfortable. Room and hotel was very clean. Location was great.

The staff weren’t too helpful at answering questions about sightseeing or where to park for events. The girl working at the rooftop bar ignored us when we tried to order. The tall young male waiter with dark hair was very attentive and took care of us. We ate at the restaurant both mornings, although food was great, they were short staffed and it took a while to order giving us a late start for our sightseeing

The location is close to our favorite bbq spot and in a cool neighborhood. I loved all the statues and neat art work in the area. The building itself is amazing, there was plenty to explore and beautiful art work everywhere. It was like staying in an art museum but a really laid back vibe. The roof top bar had a great view& comfortable seating to enjoy your drinks. There is a purple lounge area on the same level as the lobby with really pretty art work and comfy spots to curl up with a book or a board game. Our room was quiet, even with the thunderstorms that went through. Overall just very relaxing and fun place to stay.

The water pressure was low, but I figured that had to do with being on the 11th floor.

This is one of the most beautiful boutique art inspired hotels I've been to. The rooms and the location as beautiful as it gets in the St Louis area. Our blue room was beautiful and just an all-around great place to be if you're visiting the area near the St Louis University campus. Love the rooftop bar and the mini conversational areas throughout the hotel. It seems like the cleaning staff was cleaning the bathrooms and the elevators every hour The place was immaculate

It was very disappointing because we had free passes for breakfast and when we came up we were told the chef didn't show up and it looked like the other chef was in the back kitchen sleeping because he came out later and I heard them mention that he was sleep. Even when he came out he did not try to address the eight patrons in the bar wanting to eat. He provided milk for an employee to eat her breakfast but did not address or care that we were not eating and only had danishes. Very unprofessional. It looks like there was a huge investment to make this a classy place and this was the lowest I've seen in a long time
