I liked that it has a pool for the kids, a bar, a restaurant, and a place to clean off once you come off the beach. The rooms are updated, modern and clean.

I didn’t like that the tv was not working and we asked multiple times to get that fixed and they didn’t even try. We had little kids with us so we had to keep them occupied while in the room getting ready for the next activity/function.

The beach was very nice and easily accessible from the hotel. You walk out back from the indoor pool area. It was clean & has a shower to remove sand when going back to your room. We had a king sized bed suite with a small kitchenette. We had a pool view, not a balcony. The room was nicely laid out and clean. Our room seemed to be newly renovated and was very nice. It was good to have the kitchenette for breakfast & lunch especially with the heat in the summer. The location was close to a few restaurants & received good recommendations from a blond gal at the front desk. She was very helpful.

I would have liked a balcony overlooking the ocean. It was a lot more expensive. We would go back to the hotel in the future. We wanted to use a cart to take our luggage to our room but you must se the young student bellhops. It’s nice for them to have a job but we prefer to move our own things.

I am VERY picky when it comes to hotels, especially when traveling with my children. This hotel was extremely clean! We had a great stay!! We were originally at a different hotel and had to leave because of mold. My daughter was wheezing and her eyes were swollen. We left there and checked into the Princess Royale and were instantly relieved! Everything smelled and looked so clean! The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel is also newly renovated. The kids had a blast at the pool too! We will 100% make this our new vacation spot!

One of the bellmen was rude to us while we were trying to get kids into the elevator. He could clearly see that we were trying to get out of the way and get kids upstairs and instead of moving his cart out of the way of the elevator to give us room, he said, “I have a guest to help, if you could move out of the way, please.” I just felt that it was completely unnecessary. Other than that, our stay was truly perfect.

Food is awesome!!!

Housekeepers at your door before check out one knock and then they enter! This east at 9:40. Also check in is at 5 pm now. So for them to expect you to leave earlier is insane!!

The room views was amazing but could use screen door on the slider .beds are so comfy. Fridays bartender at pool was so kind . Loved the large shower with double show heads

No screen door on slider we had to leave it open in evening do to someone else smiling weed Saturday and our entire room smells . They sent security up to our room but no one checked to see here it was coming from . Need exhaust fan in bathroom and curtains on windows in living area.. also as we sat it bar by the pool we watch a large mouse running in the hut which is understandable with the cold n current remodeling the 2nd foor. Really miss the hot tubs out on the deck out side

The pool was long, but didn't really have a dep end. It was also not very comfortable. The atrium is not heated very well and there is no hot tub. The indoor.pool is a big selling point for the hotels, but it was pretty disappointing. On family trips to OC , we usually wind up hanging out at an indoor pool at least one day due to weather. My kids did not want to stay at this pool because the room and pool were not warm enough for them. For the record, we have stayed at many, many hotels with indoor pools and this is only the 2nd one that my kids did not want to play at (both were due to being uncomfortably chilly).

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a pool-side view room, which was nice. It's not super-luxurious, but it was clean and all the furniture and amenities appeared to be new. The hallways were well-lit and well maintained - not signs of wear and tear. The location is excellent for beach access, which was the main attraction for our visit. A short walk across the back porch where the restaurant is and you are on access ramp to the beach. The property has its own water hoses for cleaning off your feet and beach items upon return.

This is much to dislike. The only thing I would point out is that the price seems high for basically a hotel room. I've paid less for a full week of entire condominium apartment. We only stayed 5 nights. I'm OK with the price, but I think a bit more perks would make it feel more worth the price.

Staff is friendly and were there when we needed anything! Love the indoor pool and the fact that they have a restaurant on site.

I honestly have nothing to complain about. We did have an issue with our thermostat and were very hot for two nights in a row before speaking up. We should have said something sooner because they did try and resolve the issue and sent maintenance to us in the morning and also refunded us the night since it was 80 degrees in our room and the littles were miserable. So not complaining because they were very professional and helpful in resolving our issue! Thank you!!

I liked the location, easy access to beach. Loved the “Current” for drinks in the evening overlooking the beach. The servers at the current were exceptional and every staff I interacted with was pleasant and helpful

I thought the 50$ charge to access your room early was ridiculous. I paid it without complaining but the room is empty and clean, why charge for letting people in early? The parking garage was really tight, which is to be expected but why allow idiots with oversized vehicles even try to cram their trucks in there, if you didn’t park next to a normal sized car you could barley open your door!

My stay at the Princess Royale was mostly relaxing. It was exactly what I needed to recoup as a health professional with a hectic schedule. The room was very clean, which is always one of my main concerns. The staff was friendly, for the most part, although I feel like a few more smiles and warm greetings couldn't hurt. The premises were extremely clean as well, which I loved! The quick access and perfect location near the beach was a definite plus!

The cons of my stay are that the parking garage was very tight and unaccomadating. It was treacherous to go around those turns and the spaces seemed like they were all made for compact cars.The size of the room was decent but the size of the balcony, which one of the main reasons why I picked the room, was absolutely unacceptable.We could barely sit comfortably in those chairs with our long legs! The water pressure wasn't the best either. Also, the king bed we slept on was so uncomfortable! It aggravated every pressure point in our backs! We had to constantly turn on the bed to remain comfortable. I was very disappointed. For the cost of the room, I expected better.
