Clean friendly staff. Large rooms very quiet

No.pool. the website photos showed a pool with lane lines. When I asked where the pool was located the receptionist told me it was closed as of 3 years ago. Take the picture off the website hyatt. Under the pool description on hyatts website it's written No Hotub. Nothing about No pool. Very misleading. Would have liked a pool since we travel as a family. It was very hot out and a pool would have kept us at the hotel longer and probably spent more money at the hotel but instead we left the hotel and didn't come back until later. No.pool was a bummer.

The friendliness of " all" the staff. Also we ( my son and I really feel they went above and beyond for our comfort, by having our room ready and waiting for us when our schedule was changed due to work on the rail road. Creating an inconvenience for us and the Hyatt .The hotel staff had our room ready for us to check into when we arrived at 11a.m.Not having us wait to 3!

Longer hours on the little gee dunk shop.

Was only here for a very short 1.5 days, but felt very comfortable. Staff was courteous, room was clean, and bed and pillows were so fantastic that I wish I could have taken the bed home with me. Mattress was 10/10 (just the perfect soft/hard balance), best sleep I had in a while. Thermostat is very important to me, and it did not disappoint- digital, and fully adjustable as needed. Huge TV, great channel options. I have a feeling it is very hard to keep an 80/90s hotel in such good shape, so either it was recently renovated or they are doing a great job with upkeep. Carpet seemed new, room smelled great.

It did rain one of the days and I hoped there may be an umbrella in the hotel room that I could use that day. Just a suggestion of an addition. Slippers would be nice too, I would not throw them out but take them with me, otherwise bad for environment.

The bed was comfy and the shower was refreshing. We ate at the restaurant on the 2nd floor. The service was very good and the food arrived fairly quickly. We walked to Fenway for a concert. The views inside and outside the hotel were amazing. It was a pleasant stay, thank you!

We self-parked at the hotel and found out afterwards that we should have scanned our room key when leaving bec the parking was charged on our bill. There was a little box to put the room key in after scanning it in the garage, we were told afterwards. So we paid twice but the hotel is going to reimburse us.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location is excellent, being conveniently close to both MIT and Boston University, making it ideal for visiting students or attending events at these institutions. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the super courtesy of the personnel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request or provide helpful information about the local area. Their warm and professional demeanor truly made me feel welcome. The overall atmosphere in the hotel was vibrant and positive, contributing to a pleasant stay. The public areas were clean and well-maintained, and the decor was modern and inviting. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, offering all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The good vibes throughout the hotel made it a memorable experience. Whether enjoying a meal at the on-site restaurant or simply relaxing in the lobby, the pleasant ambiance was evident. The Hyatt Regency Cambridge successfully combines a great location, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a top choice for anyone visiting the area.

On the other hand, the hotel could benefit from some updates. The structure itself is showing signs of age, and certain areas could use renovation. The infrastructure, including the elevators and plumbing, seemed a bit outdated and in need of improvement. These updates would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

We've stayed at the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge in the past because it's one of the more reasonably priced hotels in Boston/Cambridge and it's in a great location. We had a spectacular view of the Charles River, downtown Boston, and Boston U (my alma mater) from our balcony. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We also like the many sitting areas on the first floor.

The price of $48 per night for self parking ($58 for valet) is outrageous. Thanks to Daniel R. for working with us on the parking fee.

We visited for my wife's birthday and Christina at the front desk was great. The champagne and cupcakes in our room were an excellent and appreciated touch. Overall it was a wonderful stay, would recommend, and we will be staying again.

I booked a queen room with a balcony and it was bit cold in March to fully use it (nothing to be done about that obviously) but I didn't check the room size and putting the balcony aside the room was a bit small.

very convinient location ! and the garage was very close to the lobby !

the shower....😔 very low pressure, very dificult to rinse my hair and because of that, it took me longer than I normally need. So , the saving water porpouse didn't work. A nice shower after a long day makes you revigorate, that wasn't the case. King size bed was comfortable, but uneven, one side of the mattress was deeper than the other, I felt in a hole !

Gautam in the front desk was amazing. I had a problem downloading to my phone concert tickets I had bought on line. He worked with me for half an hour trying to find a way forward. All this in between serving guests - I couldn't ask anything more - he was Outstanding !!!! I also liked the bottles of water. I really liked Trader Joe's not being far away to get things not available at the hotel.

Main drawback is the location - its a bit out of the way if you don't have a car - but I have stayed here many times so it doesn't bother me. lots of places to walk from here. I even walked to and from TD Gardens and Boston Common (each 5 km one way), although T is easy to get at Main/MassAve or over the bridge at BU.

There was an area outside the bathroom where I had space to set up the ironing board and get my clothes prepped for a meeting. They had a shuttle to take you to key places nearby with super friendly drivers.

The staff were super friendly but neglected to tell me I had to go through the restaurant to find my room, which in itself was a little weird. I also never got to try the breakfast because it wasn't clear where you needed to go to get a table and there were no staff to be found. The coffee place always had a line, so I didn't get to try that either, and while they provided instructions to order food ahead, the wait time was too long.
