I love the kitchen area in these rooms! I love the big refrigerator with the freezer! I just love everything about this hotel! I love that there were two desk areas so both my husband and I could work. The couch was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was fabulous. The staff was exceptional. I wish there were Element hotels all over so that we could stay in there every place we went! I would never stay in any other hotel chain!!

I'm not a big fan of the luggage carts. They are smaller than the typical cart and since we were traveling for 3 weeks we had quite a bit of "stuff" so we had to take 3 trips instead of 2 which we would have done with normal carts. But that is NO BIG DEAL.

My family was in Minneapolis to attend a funeral, and we initially had booked a house so we could all stay together. The condition of that property, however, was so bad that after the first night we felt that we needed to leave. Luckily for us, Elements Bloomington had last-minute rooms available for everyone in our group. It was a refreshing change - a super welcoming front desk staff, nice facilities, and clean & really well-equipped rooms. The rooms, in fact, were a lot bigger than we anticipated...plenty of room for us to hang out and talk as a group, plus a kitchenette, etc. We should have booked here first and saved ourselves a lot of hassle. Many thanks, kind Elements Bloomington staff for helping us salvage our weekend! P.S. - And many props to the hard-working guys who run the breakfast buffet in the lobby every morning. Very kind and efficient!

The only thing we didn't like is that we didn't spend our first night in Minneapolis at this property. Should have booked here first! :)

Overall the hotel was maintained well, had a adequate breakfast included with the room rate and the staff was friendly and helpful where we had questions. The room was of a great size and included a mini-refrigerator, microwave, sink with filtered water for drinking, plates, silverware, etc. Also, the TV included in the room as large and easy to view. Finally the location is great, as it was just across the street to the east of the Mall of America (if that was one of your destinations) also, it was just minutes away from Interstate 494 and close to the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport.

A couple things that need improvement, (1) the need to pay $12.00 + tax for parking when almost every other hotels in the area included parking for free. Even to find this additional requirement to pay for parking on the web-site was not obvious and should be stated-up front with the room rate (need to search through room amenities) as I was caught off guard about the need to pay when checking-in! (2) The carpeting in our room was in need of cleaning, as we accidentally spilled some water on the carpeted area and used a white paper towel to soak it up- it came back a light brown - not good.

Exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff at this hotel were super professional and courteous, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were treated to fresh water that had been infused with mint, melon, and lemon upon check-in, which was a really nice surprise. The hotel is easy to navigate to/from. You're literally a 2 minute walk away from shops and restaurants within the Mall of America. If you're not feeling the Mall, there are 2 restaurants next door. We dined at the Hazelwood and it was top notch. The property itself is beautiful, with clear attention to detail in the decorating. Our room was immaculately clean, and the layout was perfect for our family. The pool was a hit with my kids, and the breakfast spread was impressive, with tons of options and a superb coffee bar with the coffee, itself, being exceptional. One of the standout features for me was the shower design, which included a hidden ceiling light/vent. It's exactly what I'm planning for our basement at home! The filtered water faucet was another nice touch. I've never seen that in a hotel room. I rarely sleep well in hotels, but I slept like a baby both nights. I woke up feeling refreshed and my back didn't hurt or anything. Highly recommended!

Like the vast majority of hotels, the water pressure in the shower leaves you wondering if something could be done about it.

Very good front desk team! The lounge was beautiful and spacious, lots of charging ports available to let you work on your devices. Access to complimentary food and beverages, which were delicious, made the lounge area even more enjoyable during the morning. The room was well furnished; it was pragmatic in its simplicity but not lacking essentials. I enjoyed the small kitchenette especially!

The outside/hallway noise was very loud, like it was inside of my own room. I was able to hear everyone entering and leaving their rooms or talking in the hallway as well as the barking of a dog inside of another room. I would advise that property management find better noise insulation for the rooms to prevent complaints regarding this matter.

What was not to like? This was probably the best hotel we’ve stayed at. We have 4 small children and everything was amazing. Breakfast was amazing, they have afternoon cheese boards during the week and evening cookies and tea that is all complimentary! They are walking distance to Mall of American! They have bikes to rent (for free) and the staff is way more than accommodating and friendly! This is our new fav hotel!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Perfect location to visit the Mall of America! Close enough to easily walk back and forth. Super comfortable beds. Nice pool, jacuzzi, and breakfast. Very clean throughout.

The only complaint I have is we were put in a handicap accessible room, which we didn’t book. We booked a normal double queen room. The room itself was fine, but the shower was terrible. Every time we turned the shower on, the bathroom flooded, due to the shower curtain having about a two inch gap at the bottom. No big deal, other than having to keep towels on the floor to soak up all the water each time. I wish we would have had a room with a normal shower without the water all over the floor every day. Other than that, perfect stay.

Element Hotel location is east side of the Mall of America. The hotel parking lot is $12 a day. Element Hotel staff are professional, courteous, and present 24 hours a day. The hotel has security lock doors and elevators . The room has a filter water system, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware , and safe. The bathroom shower is accessible walk in. Comfortable beds with quality linens. Amenities gym, pool, hot tub, and outside lounge with barbecue area.

“The only downside was the lack of sufficient lighting in the hotel. The rooms felt a bit dim, especially in the evening, which made it challenging to read or work comfortably. Improved lighting would make the stay much more enjoyable.”

It was a beautiful facility with a robust array of breakfast foods and beverages. The pool and lounge areas were adequately cleaned and supplied for an enjoyable experience. Though I didn't use the gym it also looked to be well equipped and sanitary. Staff were all kind and pleasant. Being pet friendly was a huge perk. The rooms themselves are lovely, the beds are quite comfortable and the small wet bar is well stocked. Worth every cent, the location is phenomenal!

Planes flying overhead were initially a concern, however, I didn't hear them at all during the night.
