It's the kind of a place, that you want to spend more time in rather than just spending a night. Everything is well equipped, new and clean. Even though there were a lot of families with kids staying, when in the room, you don't hear any of that. The room was spacious with a modern kitchen (all that you might need for preparing simple meals in the room, no stove, but had a microwave and a huge fridge with freezer). Even though it is one big space, it feels cozy. There's a sofa with a table to chill in front of a TV. Or you can turn the TV to face the bed and just chill there. A big plus is all the many lights in the room, not only on the bedside tables, but on the desks too and the floor lamps. A lot of options to find the best light options for everyone. Breakfast was very good, there's the pancakes and waffles as well as eggs and omelettes, bagels, cereal, yoghurts. Tea and coffee is available 24/7. Even when you are checked out, they still treat you like a guest and let you stay in the common area, have some coffee and just chill until you have to go to the airport. Has their own shuttle bus that takes guests to Mall of America and back for free. It feels very safe to be there and overall it feels more like an apartment than just a hotel room. The best bonus for plane lovers will be the close proximity to the plane landing route, they literally fly right behind your window and you can plane-watch from your bed. I loved that. (the sound is not crazy, so those who don't love this, will not be bothered).

If I MUST find something that I didn't like - there could be more fresh fruits and vegetables at the breakfast.

Front desk staff didn't like requests...told we had to request room make-up rooms by 7p.m. the night before we needed it. The maids were actually on our hall at the time. She seemed ready to answer 'no' on any and all questions. My husband had to stay in the room and rest an injured foot. The maids were very talkative and loud in the hallway early in the am. When I told the lady at the front desk, she said it wasn't during quiet hours...I said it's staff ,not guests. Also, staff seemed to want stay in and around the workout room, acted like we were bothering them to work out in there. They were also running around the hallways upstairs and a guy almost ran into me twice.

The clorine in the pool was so strong it burned our eyes as just observers. We didn’t stay long. The next night was a little better.

Home2 Suites is one of my favorite hotel brands. I've stayed in several locations across the country, and this one did not disappoint. The location was perfect for our needs. The hotel was clean, bright, and well aappointed. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was as expected based on previous stays in other locations.

There needs to be more attention paid to pest control on the exterior of the building. Way too many mosquitoes and HUGE spiders. A quick spray of Yard Guard a couple times a year is really all it would take. Also, rhe temperature on the coffee carafs is set too high. The coffee remained undrinkably hot for over 30 minutes even without a lid on the cup. Someone is going to burn themselves.

We like the convenience of the location. Walking distance to the mall. It was also very clean and comfortable. The room we got was spacious so that was nice. They were also very responsive via messaging and answered all the questions we had. Breakfast was good.

Personal preference but the pillows are too soft. Airplane noises are expected due to the location. Beyond their control, however, you can also hear people upstairs and next door. It was probably a busy day but the front desk staff we talked to was not very friendly. I know it’s just $10, but I didn’t see why we needed to pay for parking if we are staying there.

We love the home away from home feel and we really enjoy the breakfast buffet. In addition, this property was attached to a bar/restaurant that also has bowling and some video games. It was a great addition.

The "heated" pool was an absolute icebox. It was so cold that my son was shivering as soon as we stepped into the water and we could not continue. It was tragic because it was the only thing he wanted to do and so we were very disappointed.

Free laundry, the layout of the room, the pool, the rec area where kids could play while waiting for us, the shuttle service, the bedding smelled good and clean. Nice space in room for storage, big fridge. Good pillows

We’d hoped there’d be a range for cooking, the shower threshold was a slippery and some of us almost fell. The bathroom was tight, but overall it worked.

Lovely, very large lobby. Modern and didn’t look like most hotel lobbies. Hallways were very roomy. 3 elevators so very quick response time. Rooms were spacious with full (mini) kitchens and separate living/sleeping areas. No bathtub, but very nice shower with sliding glass doors. Hotel connected to a place to play laser tag and other activities. Sign said they had in-house made pizzas and beer on tap. Might have been fun if we were able to stay more than one night.

$10 parking fee. A ridiculous rip-off fee just to park our car overnight.

Pretty much brand new. Fantastic location, close to the Mall of America but very quiet. Convenient to the airport. Clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need for an extended stay.

The breakfast was a bit meh. Paper plates and plastic utensils. The yogurt machine was glitchy. The food could have been kept warmer.

The staff was super helpful. Check in was quick and complete. We like the coffee/hot chocolate bar that was available. The shuttle was warm, and quick.

Breakfast could have been better....the breakfast sandwich tasted off. On our arrival back to the airport, I had to go through many, many automated messages before I actually talked to a representative AT the property to let them know we needed a shuttle ride. I would have liked a direct number to call.
