Wonderful location. Walked to all locations with ease; if you want to discover all the cute restaurants and bars downtown - this hotel is in the heart of it. Very friendly staff - champagne upon arrival was a plus! Free parking and breakfast. The Hemingway restaurant had terrific drinks and staff as well. Very spacious room, very clean. Great views.
My only issue with the hotel was noise at night, all the way till 4 - 5 am. Not sure what was going on, but between the doors slamming and loud voices - it was hard to get sleep. Front desk staff told us to call them next time and they'd address it, but we only stayed two nights. Also, check prices of items in lobby before purchasing. We were surprised to pay $12 per vitamin water bottle. They offer complimentary water bottles so be sure to ask for one instead.

It is always clean and smells great. I also liked the fact that they held our bags the day we checked out so we could visit a few shops that opened after check out and allowed us to keep the car in valet. Never has that experience before.

The location was great. It's located downtown without being in the noisier area so you get a decent night's rest after Havana's live music is over. The Grove's location right across the street offers a plethora of dining and shopping options, and you're about a half a block away from the Pinball museum and great driving distance to all surrounding areas. The corner suite offered fantastic views, and the security features within the hotel are great for solo travelers. All the staff were wonderful, but Neveah, Vanessa, and Owen were true standouts. This will be our go-to location when staying in Asheville from here on out.

Location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Asheville, walking distance from countless restaurants, markets, coffee shops, museums, etc. The room was large and beautiful, the beds very comfortable, the view from the 11th floor was amazing!
There was a small blood stain on my sheets. Also, the morning our room was due to be cleaned (we have two small and messy little boys) we were out at the lake the whole morning and returned at 2 in time for our toddler’s nap only to find out our room had not been cleaned… it was going to be cleaned at 3:30 which was not convenient. Other than that all was great!

The hotel was located in downtown close to shops and dining. We were pleasantly surprised to find that parking and breakfast were included in our stay, but this was due to issues with the hurricane earlier that year. The staff were very helpful and although we did not have maid service during our stay (another issue from the hurricane), they did provide us with clean towels when requested. Overall it was a good stay at Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville.
We weren't advised at check-in that there was no maid service. We failed to read the notice in our room pertaining to that and found out after calling the front desk to inquire.

Conveniently located, staff super friendly and helpful, room was roomy and comfortable. I was impressed with how they handled putting up displaced people from Helene and that they provided food for them and the workers that were staying there. Food was good. They had their own potable water vats. It's amazing how they are managing during this crisis and destruction. Prayers go out to everyone there.
The lighting could be better in the room and bathroom, it's dark in the room. "Whereas the doors to the bathroom are cool looking, the light shines through and anyone trying to sleep could be bothered by the light shining through. In the scheme of things, these are small things, especially given the situation of the city.

At check in, the front desk person (Nevaeh--not sure I'm spelling that right) was just amazing and lovely. Made me and my kiddos feel so welcome--I've worked front desk at a hotel before and Nevaeh has got it! The person who was there at night was kind as well. Good customer service is so important to me, I will always go back to a place that has got it. And I really, really, really liked the views from my corner room. Good job, peeps!
Knowing the parking situation (that "Valet" was no longer an option--which was totally fine--but I had no idea where to park).

Location, view, staff, proximity, and amenities were top-notch. The view in particular is breath-taking if you're a fan of the mountains. Visitors cannot get closer to downtown Asheville -- you're in it!
If partially-opaque, shower-like glass doors covering bathroom access isn't your idea of privacy, it can be a little surprising the first time you turn on the bathroom lights praying nobody studies the outline of your silhouette on the toilet. It's too minor and taste-specific to call a problem though ... Gorgeous room and a good example of getting what you pay for.

Everything! All the staff members we met from the parking valet to the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious with a gorgeous view of downtown Asheville and the mountains. I loved that our comfortable king bed faced the view. By the way, the extra few dollars for a room with a mountain view is totally worth it. We had a small refrigerator and a microwave and we asked the staff to put two items in their freezer for us. The room also had a closet and a desk with a small bench next to it and there was an armchair next to the bed. The location is right in downtown Asheville within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. It's a wonderful home base from which to explore Asheville on foot.
Nothing. It was all good.

It was a dream to stay here! The staff greeted us with such kindness aaand a glass of champagne. The entire place was spotless and gorgeous. the valet was amazing and used a texting system to get our car whenever we needed it. Hemingway’s has such a gorgeous outdoor patio- impressive views. The room was large and had an amazing window view of the mountains. We will always stay here in the future.
We were told it was an animal free hotel. Well there was a cat in a carriage we saw in the lobby and then taken up to their room - and we asked staff - they said it was a support animal and they had to allow it. I think it’s crazy ridiculous that a cat is viewed as a support pet. Only service animals with proper paperwork should be allowed.
