The room was nice and just been updated. We had a king room with bunk beds and the room smelled clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had a nice huge tub and the sink was in the room not in the bathroom. I like how they have children activities going on. I did witness a story time and they had a dance party for the children also. My daughter is 17 it was not in her age range but if I had little ones that would be a perfect place.

I didn't like the fact that light shown under the door and lite the whole room up. The beds was to hard for me and my family. We got cupcakes and cookies from the place down stairs and the cookies was hard as a rock and the cupcake was dried out. It tasted like it had been sitting for days.

We loved all the activities this resort had to offer. The staff was all so helpful. Easy to use armbands. Food was yummy. My kids loved the arcade games on the second floor. The mini bowling was a hit because the balls were small enough my littlest son could even throw them and play. You can order meals to your chairs in the indoor area which was nice.

I did not like that only one part of the waterpark was open our entire stay. My 2-year-old was not able to go down the slides due to height. So, with the splash pad area closed he had little to nothing else but the pool option. I called prior to booking to make sure there was plenty for that age to do, so I was disappointed when i learned that area would be closed our entire stay but would be open the following week. Next time I will do better at looking at the schedules of the slide etc. But this was our first time here so I didn't know much about what would be open and what would not. Only complaint.

Loved how friendly the staff we're, and kids LOVED the water park open until 11 pm inside. I liked that before we went, I read the reviews and noticed they had fixed some of the compliant about bracelets, and they did serve milk at breakfast. You just have to ask. Pizza has a great amount of toppings, and I love the refil options for soda fountains. Beds are a bit firm, but they were good for me. I like firm. It was all around a great stay we would go back but would ask for an upgraded room. The kids kept saying we got the best hotel. LOCATION WAS GREAT!

Did not like that we got a room with a view of the entrance oning (in our reservation we asked for a top floor but got 3 floor) and the room smelled a little musty but was clean. Also, we did our swimming in the evenings so the kids did not get to use the outdoor slides. They close at like 6 pm. Breakfast was ok, but the gravy was absolutely NO GOOD! Very thick and has no flavor. Potatoes, bacon, biscuits, and pancakes were our favorites.

We loved the water parks inside and outside! The lobby was fresh and clean. Our kids enjoyed the splash pad and the swimming pool! Their favorite thing was the dance parties, swimming and snow cones everyday. It made our visit extra fun and exciting.

The only downside was the smell of our room when we first arrived. It’s probably the old carpet that’s in the room.. it smelled like stinky socks. Once we got the air conditioner going and circulating in there- it helped. The beds weren’t the most comfortable either.. but cant complain for the rate we got. Not terrible enough to not stay again.. just an observation. The amenities made up for the room. We would definitely stay again if we are ever up this way.

We arrived on a Wednesday evening and left Friday morning at checkout time! Check in and out was seamless. Very friendly staff. We didn’t have children, but noticed MANY amenities that would be a lot of fun for them. Loved the pool! (It’s not heated but the room is warm). Huge jacuzzi! Loved the view of the river, but the view of the skyweel would probably be more intriguing!

Most amenities were geared towards children, and since we were just at a couples getaway. Breakfast isn’t included with the price. None of these should be a dealbreaker!

The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of space even though it was busy. Me and my family got the extreme passes and family meal pass both are really good deals.

My only issue with the resort it felt they were extremely understaffed. Usually the person in the outpost ran 4 departments like the rock climbing wall arcade and mining section while running the outpost. It was difficult to be able to find the time to do these certain things on the passes bc of it. You had to catch the staff member at that section if you wanted to do it. One person ran the ice cream shop and pizza shop. There was never a time during our stay that all the slides were open bc of understaffing the green slide with the lights was never open

We loved everything about our stay at Country Cascades! The waterparks were perfect for our toddler, even allowing us to have fun as well, plus the extensive amount of amenities offered on the property- we really didn’t need to do much outside of the resort. From food, beverages, meal passes, activity passes, gift shops, and adult beverages—- everything was right there in close, convenient proximity. We will be staying again for future trips to the pigeon forge-gatlinburg area. I don’t know why we’ve never stayed here in the past! Totally was missing out— and saved so much money in the grand scheme of things by purchasing meal and activity passes! We bowled, played in the arcade, did story times and meet and greets with the Friendship Forrest characters, it was truly an experience

My only “complaint” per se is that I feel there should be more accommodations and training for staff with disabled children. My daughter is disabled, and a few other children I noticed were as well during our stay, and a couple staff members were less than accommodating or even friendly. Even after explaining the situation with her communication barrier. One of the water park attendants was very rude to my daughter, and almost seemed to single her out for small things while allowing others behind us to proceed. It wasn’t a big issue. I just think that training staff to be more aware of children with disabilities and finding ways to include them would be a wonderful way to enhance everyone’s experience

Fun for the whole family, Arcade was fun and had bowling. The new waterpark area was nice, and the outdoor pool was warm enough to swim at the end of April. Everything you need is in one building which is nice, and the location is excellent. We have stayed here a couple of times, and will continue to book here when we come back to pigeon forge.

Wish the waterslides schedule could be adjusted, it was opened during the day when we were mostly out doing stuff, then when you get back to the hotel it would be closed a lot. This might not be the case during the summer months. We were going to eat at the pizza place in the hotel, but decided not to since they don't have breadsticks with cheese, The pizza looked good, and I believe that it would be a good option for them to add, as they lost the sale that day to us as our kids love breadsticks with cheese so we ended up going to another pizza place.

I really like the location and I also liked the size of the indoor waterpark. I also liked the cabanas they were nice.

What I didn’t like was the hot tub which was called warming tub it was cold no where warm. Also when booking online it does not specify which building you are staying at. I wish I would’ve known what building I would be staying at. I would’ve booked my room where the waterpark was at instead of the other building and trying to run across the parking lot when it’s cold. Another thing that I dislike was that the rooms did not have microwaves.

Breakfast was great. Plenty of food. Variety. Would like the eggs to be real eggs but they were still good. Loved the extra activities for the kids. My two had a blast at the dance party and when their unicorn magically appeared on the big screen. The water areas inside and out were great for them. Very clean. Well setup.

Felt the staff should have been more attentive to their areas. We waiting a couple different times in the pizza area for someone to take our order and then forgot our salad so we had to wait again to get help. Then waited again for staff to show up to purchase another drink.
