It was clean and decent.

The General manager is a racist, liar and badly behaved. No professionalism at all. We were supposed to get a refund for the damage or caution fee at the end of our stay which we never knew about prior to booking. At check out, I asked when we should expect a refund back, she made up a story about us not getting a full refund, when I called her out for lying, told her outright the statement was wrong and she shouldn't make up stories, she threatens us with the police and slammed the door on us. If she wasn't lying to keep our refund, why run away, why not show us the proof? She cussed, threatened and slammed the door on us. Tried to send feedback/complaints but l feedback and complaints goes through the said GM.

Parking - charge and location

The place is very comfortable and the location is very convenient. I wish we could’ve stayed longer

We arrived a little early probably 2:15pm. Check-in was 3pm. We didn’t think it would be too early to check in because at the Hampton Inn in Panama City, we were able to check-in around that time too. So we had to wait only to find out that staff was able to check-in few people and some came before and some came after us. So, I’m not sure if there’s a protocol or some other criteria that we probably didn’t meet. But, I didn’t appreciate it.

Location was close to nearly everything we came to do. It was nice having the little HEB market directly across the street. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Very quiet If your looking for a room on the riverwalk, this is not the right Hamptom Inn. However it is very close about a 3 minute drive or a nice walk.

Parking lot was small. If you didn't get there early enough you had to park in a garage directly next door. Only had to park there one night but I don't like not being able to see my vehicle.

I’m not much of a breakfast person but did eat a little off the buffet. It was ok. Lady that worked in this area went above and beyond in this area. We always came in late and she made sure we got what we wanted before she closed the area at the time she was supposed to. It was always neat , clean and well stocked. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating explaining directions, giving directions etc. I know that has to be very tiresome but she never acted like it bothered her.

We reserved a king suite for the weekend. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, could have a little more variety, but offered about the same as most hotels.

Although the room was great, the couch bed could probably be replaced or at least cleaned and new mattress. There was only one working elevator which turned into a longer wait time when coming and going. Although probably not possible could definitely use additional parking for vehicles.

Good free breakfast and coffee. The hotel has its own car park and is only a short walk to the RiverWalk/ and Tourist attractions of San Antonio.

I prefer the small cartons of real milk in the room ( for the coffee) instead of the packets of dried "Creamer"- But this seems to be a USA thing. The coffee supplied for breakfast had real milk- which is great.

The hotelnis very nice and clean!

The staff that sets up and monitors the breakfast is a bit rude and standoffish. The weekend we went was during Band State competitions so the hotel was packed. Breakfast ran out by 8ish and the personnel said there was no more food.
