Location ,pool and gym Breakfast was good

The front desk was not as friendly as the other Hampton we stayed at on this trip. They did their job but I felt very uncomfortable with them. Housekeeping and maintenance we very friendly around the hotel! Let them run the front desk. The ladies at the desk were better . We had booked 2 nights I did in separately and contacted the hotel to let them know but I still had to checkout and check back in. Our blind came down and I told the front desk and the gentleman said nothing ? I asked will they come fix it and he then said they would have maintenance come later. They never did so we had no curtains to block the light and only sheer see through curtains. Very uncomfortable.We would return but I think your gentleman at the desk need customer service updates 👍

It was clean and decent.

The General manager is a racist, liar and badly behaved. No professionalism at all. We were supposed to get a refund for the damage or caution fee at the end of our stay which we never knew about prior to booking. At check out, I asked when we should expect a refund back, she made up a story about us not getting a full refund, when I called her out for lying, told her outright the statement was wrong and she shouldn't make up stories, she threatens us with the police and slammed the door on us. If she wasn't lying to keep our refund, why run away, why not show us the proof? She cussed, threatened and slammed the door on us. Tried to send feedback/complaints but l feedback and complaints goes through the said GM.

Location, location, location. Easy on/off highway. We could walk everywhere. The staff was very attentive in making sure we got settled in and were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and the shower worked great. The bed was super comfortable. Lots of restaurants and a very good grocery on the next street. We would stay at this property again.

We did have to pay a parking fee (extra $12.50 +tax per night) which we didn't anticipate so a bit of a "bummer" there. Otherwise, everything was great.

Very close to the riverwalk and any other sites of interest. Staff was super friendly and helpful, making sure my questions were answered and requests accommodated when possible. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Breakfast was the perfect way to start the day!

It was a bit rough to pull into the parking lot, the additionally hard to find parking. Although hotel was pet friendly and very accommodating of pets, there was barely if any areas for pets to relieve themselves. No grass areas for any picky pets, just bark dust.

We arrived a little early probably 2:15pm. Check-in was 3pm. We didn’t think it would be too early to check in because at the Hampton Inn in Panama City, we were able to check-in around that time too. So we had to wait only to find out that staff was able to check-in few people and some came before and some came after us. So, I’m not sure if there’s a protocol or some other criteria that we probably didn’t meet. But, I didn’t appreciate it.

Parking - charge and location

Location was close to nearly everything we came to do. It was nice having the little HEB market directly across the street. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Very quiet If your looking for a room on the riverwalk, this is not the right Hamptom Inn. However it is very close about a 3 minute drive or a nice walk.

Parking lot was small. If you didn't get there early enough you had to park in a garage directly next door. Only had to park there one night but I don't like not being able to see my vehicle.

I’m not much of a breakfast person but did eat a little off the buffet. It was ok. Lady that worked in this area went above and beyond in this area. We always came in late and she made sure we got what we wanted before she closed the area at the time she was supposed to. It was always neat , clean and well stocked. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating explaining directions, giving directions etc. I know that has to be very tiresome but she never acted like it bothered her.
