Hotel breakfast was at Dean's Steak and Seafood. Having eaten dinner there the night prior we already knew what to expect. Top tier service and food quality. The location of the Hotel will be premier once the construction around it is finished. The surround area is seeing a lot of growth so it will definitely make its mark in the years to come.

My only issue was the cost of valet. Compared to larger metropolitan areas like Houston and Dallas $56 dollars overnight was a little steep. Other than that I feel the value for every aspect of the stay was comparable to all the other local options like the Thompson or Hotel Emma.

I'll start by saying that I loved your hotel so much that I've already booked my second stay! The staff are super helpful, kind, and personable! They were the best I've seen in a while. I truly felt like the guests were their top priority from the moment I arrived until after check out. The location was ideal for walking or biking around. There was a lot of construction that made for some navigation challenges, but the front desk staff were able to provide tips on helping around the closures. Complimentary coffee in the morning and social hour in the evening was a nice and unexpected treat. Room and facilities were beautiful, clean, roomy, and comfortable.. I wish they offered a microwave in the rooms, but that's a tiny thing in comparison to every other amenity that comes with the stay. Overall, the entire experience was outstanding!

We enjoyed the thoughtful design of the hotel, everything was new, easy, and lovely. Our room was larger and nicer than we expected. We had booked a Hemisphere suite and it was a true a one bedroom suite with a door in between the rooms and great views of the Hemisphere park and tower. We ate in the bar one evening, but the menu was from Dean's and was very good. We also enjoyed nightcaps at the rooftop bar, which was comfortable and stylish. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the road construction out front was not an issue at all. The $56 a night valet charge was a bit excessive so we found free parking nearby. The location was perfect, partway between downtown and Southtown, an area we love, so we were able to walk everywhere.

$56 for valet parking. As I stated above we were able to park a couple of blocks away for free. It wasn't as convenient, but we never needed our car as we walked everywhere.

Staff was incredible. Our family was travelling for Christmas and we wound up having an impromptu Christmas at your hotel after our first night. Staff was incredibly accommodating. Christmas dinner at the steakhouse was fantastic. We really appreciate the staff working to provide heat-lamps (weren't working at first) and comfort to us and our guests for what turned out to be an incredible dinner.

It'll be great once the street construction is finished. Would offer that having a signage about where pets can be directed to use the bathroom and maybe some "dog mess" bags would help. Also, I know it's probably a liability issue, but I always like seeing free weights in a hotel gym.

The Kimpton Santo was in the perfect location. Lots of new construction nearby (that area is going to be THE spot when it’s all finished). The area felt very safe also. Our room was gorgeous and the hotel in general was very nice and spacious. Great amenities like a restaurant/bar and even a roof top bar although we didn’t go. The staff was very friendly, they even text you a few times throughout your stay to make sure you’re doing well and don’t need anything. We love visiting San Antonio and we’ve always stayed at different hotels but I think we found the hotel we’ll be staying at from now on. Thank you, Kimpton Santo!

There was some loud construction early in the mornings but we understood that when we booked. It wasn’t that big of a deal.

There was attention to detail with the design and decor throughout. The food at the restaurant and bar surprised us with its quality. The gym, like the rest of the hotel, was spotless and just pleasant to be in. The service throughout was top class and we felt genuinely welcomed. This was one of our better hotels stays in recent years, rivaling any experience at a top rated Hotel & Resort. Don't overthink this one. Just come and enjoy it.

Very friendly staff. Great proximity to downtown. Though expensive, top rate five star restaurant on site. Nice gym facility.

We were accommodated with an early check-in. But we were charged a $75 fee for this convenience, even though we had called ahead and been advised that that the fee would be waived. The front desk clerk appeared to think I was lying to her because I could not recall the person’s name that I have spoken to. No vending machines, or convenience shop.

Hotel was Beautiful, in a great location, great staff, Nice amenities, definitely going to be a hot spot in future. Steak house is absolutely gorgeous.

only had one bad interation with staff, otherwise they were all extremely nice. theres some construction going on out front, i stayed at top floor and a few times the lounge crowd made it a hindrance to get to room

What did I like? I liked everything. From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and very informative. It was walking distance to the Riverwalk, the alamo, restaurants, and so much more. Definitely the place to stay when visiting San Antonio.

Great design, excellent rooms, nice pool and classy restaurants. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, felt like at home.

Liked everything. we had a few issues with the restaurant staff that did not seem to know the wine menu very well, but everything was sorted out and they were otherwise very friendly and professional.
