Location, location, location. It is a fairly, good short walking distance to the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, maybe less than 15 minutes depending how fast you walk. Accessible to area restaurants and attractions. Close to bus stops and 1/4 mile away from H-E-B store. Not a fancy motel but it served the purpose. They changed the bath towels the second day of my stay and emptied the trash can. Fridge and microwave are a plus. The room was adequate.

The bed sheets have stains, however, I brought my own set of sheets that I put on top of the bed that I slept on.

No Bugs, Clean Room. Close to River Walk. Covered Parking. Front desk very accommodating, I needed an extra pillow and the pillow was brought to room quickly.

Pillows were small, there was only 3 small pillows for a King size bed. $10 daily parking fee.

Location, location! Just perfect, around the corner from King William’s neighborhood and Alamo Avenue S. Next to restaurants and cafes. Quiet. The room was spacious, (118) and the king size bed very comfortable. Clean, updated bathroom. Hot shower. Emma, the owner is helpful and friendly. Plenty of free parking on the ground floor.

It looks a bit run down from the outside, but the room I stayed at was a pleasant surprise. It was updated a few years ago. The carpet in the hallway desperately needs to be cleaned or replaced. There is no elevator, just to be advised. Not a problem for me though.

It was in a great location., very close to the Aztec theater where I was going. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was surprised how clean and comfortable and was not disappointed. The woman in the front was courteous.

The parking was very limited in the number of parking spots and the space to pull in and out, especially with my truck, was really small. The door to the hall way from the side of the street was not locked (seemed to be broken) even though the front door on the other side you had to use your key card to get in. This made me a little nervous walking up stairs alone. A small criticism is that there was not a trash can in the bathroom (this would have been nice to have so I didn’t have to take the one from the room in to the restroom).

I liked the fact the location was in an area of downtown San Antonio that was close to a bunch of different things to check out and walk to if I needed to walk there. I had a good experience with my check in and things went fine for me during my stay in San Antonio Tx.

If the Iron was a bit more in nice shape, even though there was breakfast, near by. too bad it didn't have breakfast included there.

The location of this place is fantastic - within a short walking distance of the riverside walk and downtown. From the outside it looks like a parking structure but inside it's well-decorated, modern, clean and comfortable. Don't be put off by its outside appearance.

My bank has a more open kiosk than this place. Reception is like visiting someone in jail. I guess they've had bad experiences in the past?

This is a very good location. All attractions are walkable. The facilities are just fair in quality and just average in condition but very clean and very comfortable. This is without question THE best value in San Antonio. If you can accept just fair quality and average condition, then save the money and stay here. The +$10 parking fee in the hotel garage, under cover, is totally fair, although street parking in the neighborhood is free. I HIGHLY recommend the Metro Bike BCycle bike share in San Antonio. There is a docking station within one block of the hotel and you can ride EVERYWHERE in town and out of town to the Missions which are AWESOME (San Jose Mission is the best). Enjoy!

The +$10 parking fee under cover in the garage is totally fair and worth it. There is a frig and micro wave, but no kettle for cooler/tea.

Location was excellent. The Alamo, the Tower of the Americas, downtown and the riverwalk were all within a 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive. Also was easy to find coming from I-35.

They charge you to park on-site (although they kindly waived my fee for some reason) and I did find a cockroach in my room.

Location is exceptional. It was easy to arrive and they kept by booking although we arrived late due to delays on the road.. Personnel was very helpful

There is nothing I can say but maybe the additional fee to use parking which it was not included in the information of the property. It was not to much, to it is not a big deal.

Good price. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We booked this hotel because of the parking it was cheaper and it was covered. It’s only half a mile walk to the Alamo and a Riverwalk which made it convenient. Great Mexican restaurant next-door overall we would book here again. 

Someone sitting on stairs each time we walked by. The security lock was broken in our room. The hallway wall has something spilled on it.
