Great staff, everyone is kind and knowledgeable like Johnathon, Nick and Pete. Great location to riverwalk and all the restaurants and sights of San Antonio. Very clean, modern and up to date. 10th floor pool, bar and gym are great additions and make your stay feel more glamorous.

Would have liked access to a microwave for my left overs ! I don’t always eat all my food so I like to bring them home and eat later but I couldn’t here. Also to note not really family friendly more of a trendy, upscale party vibe so just a heads up if you have small kids. Other that that amazing pace to stay! Will come again!

Great on the weekdays. Quiet, newly remodeled, upscale. Accommodating staff.

Loved the facility. Nice and upscale. Only three drawbacks. 1) There is no on-site parking. Had to pay via app every 24 hours with $50 penalty for being 2 nanoseconds late at a private lot. Lot had craters in it. 2) Dean’s restaurant in the hotel has a staff that likes to play graba$$ in the kitchen. Could hear them doing anything but checking on patrons. Took 35 minutes to get a bowl of yogurt. One slice of bacon was $8. All very nice, if you could find them. 3) Major construction on the Main Street in front of the lobby. Made it difficult to get around. Also, weekend crowd clearly out of place. Loud, didn’t seem to have a disciplined childhood…

EVERTHING, especially the customer service by Carl, Han, Jonathan and Pete at the front entrance. Wow these gentlemen were On Point! From their professional dress to their attention to detail along with their true care and concern for anything and everything to make our stay special, I and my husband were thoroughly impressed. Thank you all for displaying true professionalism and genuineness in your demeanor. The Kimpton is very fortunate to have you all representing them. We were also impressed with the young men running your Valet Service. WOW!!!! They took exceptional care of us! Bravo to those young men! All mentioned, deserve accolades and any rewards that you all offer exceptional employees! Absolutely loved the immediate texting that made communication a priority and Our Stay That Much Better!! Kimpton has it going on!!

We did have some issues with our air conditioning yet it was addressed immediately and the room was comfortable.

LOVE the service !! Everyone I had encounter helped my daughter and I , without having me to ask! There was people there always opening the door and asking if I need anything. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would be back again. This hotel is the definition of what service should be like. The valet was exceptional definitely worth it ! The hotel is beautiful! Love how they cater to dogs as well !

The water in the shower was not hot enough. Seemed like if I go higher it got colder. So I put the lever right on the letter “H” for a luke warm shower. Didn’t bother me too much, but would had been nicer with warmer temperature.

The staff were very friendly and helpful,i booked a room to celebrate my husband’s birthday and helped surprise him with a bottle of champagne 🍾 and chocolate covered strawberries 🍓that was sent to our room. The view was amazing, the bar, pool workout area on the 10th floor was beautiful and relaxing can’t wait to go again.

We didn’t realize there was a Chris Brown concert happening so it was a bit packed and it was tough getting in at first plus the elevators were packed. Had a mishap during breakfast but the manager Luis took care of us and invited us back for a dinner as a show of good faith.

Beautiful rooms and rooftop bar. Reservations highly recommended for bar, as there was no availability on a Friday night when I stayed. The fitness facility is top-notch, with several peloton bikes and an amazing view. The hotel staff was great. Coffee bar in the morning and outdoor courtyard were very peaceful. The spa at the sister hotel across the driveway was great and pool day at that pool was awesome.

Rooftop bar reservations highly recommended for bar, as there was no availability on a Friday night when I stayed. The rooftop pool is small; recommend pool passes at the sister hotel next door. The menu at the rooftop bar (only tapas) and for in-room dining was limited. In-room dining was the same as the restaurant downstairs, and very upscale, so not a lot of casual options. No onsite parking; valet was $50/day.

> Construction work around the hotel was annoying as we could hear it from our room > Having to pay an incidental/deposit fee at check in, which I don't mind paying as long as I'm made aware before but this was not the case > The Study bar was closed during our stay

I had a lovely corner room, a beautiful view and the hotel is very new, a year old, so everything was very clean and modern. I asked for a bathtub and they gave me one of the 4 rooms that had a bath...I was VERY happy! The room service was great, as well as being quick, the food was just perfect. The rooftop pool was wonderful as it was in the sunshine most of the day and had the added bonus of a great view of San Antonio.

No complaints, the place was great as was the service, and anything I asked for they jumped on with good humour and service.

Hotel breakfast was at Dean's Steak and Seafood. Having eaten dinner there the night prior we already knew what to expect. Top tier service and food quality. The location of the Hotel will be premier once the construction around it is finished. The surround area is seeing a lot of growth so it will definitely make its mark in the years to come.

My only issue was the cost of valet. Compared to larger metropolitan areas like Houston and Dallas $56 dollars overnight was a little steep. Other than that I feel the value for every aspect of the stay was comparable to all the other local options like the Thompson or Hotel Emma.

I'll start by saying that I loved your hotel so much that I've already booked my second stay! The staff are super helpful, kind, and personable! They were the best I've seen in a while. I truly felt like the guests were their top priority from the moment I arrived until after check out. The location was ideal for walking or biking around. There was a lot of construction that made for some navigation challenges, but the front desk staff were able to provide tips on helping around the closures. Complimentary coffee in the morning and social hour in the evening was a nice and unexpected treat. Room and facilities were beautiful, clean, roomy, and comfortable.. I wish they offered a microwave in the rooms, but that's a tiny thing in comparison to every other amenity that comes with the stay. Overall, the entire experience was outstanding!
