One of the best stays we've ever had in ANY country (and we've traveled through most of Europe and Asia!). The room was spacious, with a private bathroom, a small fridge, air conditioner, and large comfortable beds. The owner was an incredibly nice and hospitable lady who helped us to book a tour to Marble Mountains + Mi Son, body massage as well as night bus tickets to another city for a low price, treated us to the cooked corn, recommended an excellent cheap vegetarian cafe nearby and many more! Incredible experience, we really felt at home here (and hopefully will get a chance to come here again!).

Good location only 10 minutes walking to the centre of old town. Clean and pretty big room and bathroom. The refrigerator was great in the heat. The woman who owns the homestay was very kind and helpful with everything we needed. She helped us book a cooking class (with a discount) and a bus to our next destination, let us take a shower after we checked out, brought us fresh mango, and both washed and dried our clothes for a cheap price. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone going to Hoi An.

Everything was good.

Booked originally for 1 night but extended our stay there as everything was perfect. The room was clean and came with shampoo, shower gel, towels and flip flops. Basic but with everything you might need. The service is just exceptional. Hien, the lady running the business, is super friendly and extremely nice and would make everything she can to accommodate you. 100% recommended!

The best place in our trip in Vietnam. The hospitality, Hien is adorable, the comunication is so easy. Location, the area is very quiet, just 10 minutes or less to the center. Clean, but really really clean. They undertund that a homestay could be simple but clean. That is wonderful Confortable, we slept very well.

Areca homestay is a great place to stay. Home feeling, comfortable room, good location and the nicest hosts! Hien was so helpful in everything, from picking up breakfast for us, to giving us tips for everything around Hoi An and lending us her phone and laptop to sort out some flight issues. Could not recommend more!!

The host was lovely - super helpful with booking us transport/trips and recommending places to go and things to do! The room was also great, spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Location perfect - just a short walk to the ancient town and cheap grabs to anywhere further out

Really clean place, you have both A/C and fan in the room and a large bathroom. The host was super kind and nice! She helped to get buses to come to Hoi An from Da Nang and also to get a bus from Hoi An to Hue to continue my trip in Vietnam. So if you need any help just ask her, she will fix it in no time.

We stayed at Areca Homestay for 3 nights and were very pleased. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. What's more, the owner was very kind to us, attentive and gave us lots of advice for our visit. We recommend this homestay and if we come back to Hoi An we'll be happy to come back

I stayed at Areca for nearly a month and had an absolutely wonderful time. The owner is the sweetest lady ever and welcomed me with open arms. I cannot recommend this place enough and I’ll definitely be back.
