Vina and Ho who run and work at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. This included booking tours and taxis for us, recommending tailors etc... We were also upgraded to 2 separate rooms rather than a family room at no extra cost (but also offered the family room if we preferred... I'm glad they did as we much preferred the 2 separate rooms next door to each other). The swimming pool was great to have, and was always very quiet. Myself and my daughter also did the cooking class with Vina (and market trip with Ho) I would highly recommend this. Really informative, lots of fun, some of the best food we ate, and my younger sons and husband were popping in and out, swimming in the pool next to us, and joined us to eat it all. I'd also recommend breakfast. You order the night before from a menu. It was really reasonably priced and freshly made. We highly recommend the Vietnamese pancakes! We really found this hotel good value for money.

This is a very reasonably priced hotel for Hoi an.... The rooms aren't fancy and the bathrooms smaller (one an oddish layout) but I think this is reflected in the price. The location is a tad outside of hoi an old town. About 10-15min minutes walk to the edge of the old town. But, it is a lovely quiet street, we managed to do everything we wanted by foot, and had we wanted to we could have easily got a taxi/ grab taxi, but we never felt the need to (even with a 6 year old in tow).

This was my first time solo travelling in my life from North to South Vietnam. During my trip this was by far my favourite Homestay / Villa for so many reasons. First off the room was very clean, comfortable, quiet, peaceful and in an amazing location. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town which is perfect because you are outside of the noise but can easily access the major attractions. Gioan Boutique is also so safe and secure which makes you feel comfortable. There is a locked fence before getting into the property and each room is secure. Travelling solo I often was worried about leaving my stuff behind when I went out but not here. On top of the amazing accommodation both Vina and Ho who run the villa / homestay are the most amazing people in the world. They are so friendly, make you laugh, smile and feel like you are part of their family. They know the best activities to do in Hoi An and even run their own cooking class here at the Villa which has delicious food. Everyone who I saw that stayed here was so happy to come back to the villa after spending time visiting all that Hoi An has to offer. You can also rent a bike or scooter directly from the villa and they do your laundry and clean your room for you. This place is 10/10 and I ended up extending my stay by 4 nights here because I liked it so much ☺️!

Nice property very close from the old quarters but hidden away in a quiet street. We liked it better to stay in the less touristy area. They offer hotel standards but with the vibe of a homestay. The family was very sweet, always ready to answer our queries and was also very funny. They organised transport for us from and to Da Nang at a good price, and offered to keep our big luggage when we were away visiting visiting the island for two days.

Vina is a little superstar! Cleanliness is on point, beds are massive and very comfortable, its safe, secure and immaculately kept. Arrive as travellers and leave as friends. I would highly recommend the cooking classes, so joyous if only for entertainment value, Vina is a joy and its a great social mix of people!

Only one night we were on the upper floor and had a constant noise of the washing machine (we think). Vina was very quick to respond and ty to sort issue however it wasnt the most peaceful nights sleep 😩

The staff are lovely, they offer recommendations and pick ups / drop offs from different location/hotel or airport and it’s cheaper than grab! Bed is sooo comfortable! We were concerned about location being too far out from old town but it wasn’t an issue. 10-15 minute walk which is easy to navigate :)

Just one minor thing - the tv is a smart tv but it doesn’t have Netflix which I thought was a bit strange, we couldn’t download it either. We just went out and bought a HDMI cable and plugged our laptop in

The service for this property is second tonight some of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. And the team are excellent communicators and made everything about our stay smooth. The rooms are spacious and clean with the most comfortable pillows you could imagine. The pool area is lovely and refreshing and we spent quite a bit of time in there. We highly recommend doing the cooking course. The food is restaurant quality and it’s very exciting to think that you could replicate this yourself. Would highly recommend this villa for families.

Hosts were amazing. Spoke good English. Ho met us with a huge smile. He provided information of local restaurants, as we wanted veggie and vegan options Couldn’t do enough for us. They organised tours and train tickets. Everything was very clean. Couldn’t fault anything. It is located in a quiet street away from the hussle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the old town. Would highly recommend this place to anyone

The property was a cozy and quaint. Vina was an amazing host, very sweet and helpful. She booked us tickets to different attractions and shows and had our shuttles set up as well and communication was great. She was always asking how we were and tried to make us as happy as possible. The location wasn’t too bad, walking distance to old town and the rooms were clean and cozy. If u want to do cooking classes with Vina u can also do those and learn some Vietnamese cooking.

This hotel was such AMAZING value!! It's not right in the Old Quarter – it's about 10-15 minutes walk away but still very easy to get to and from the old quarter. The beds were hand's down the most comfortable beds I had in any hotel during my trip to Vietnam – more comfortable than my own bed at home! The staff were super, super friendly and we booked several tours through the hotel. We also booked bikes through the hotel to cycle to the local beach.

This is a small thing, but the only thing to note is that you have to buzz the front gate to get back into the hotel. So we felt kind of bad coming back to the hotel after being out late and having to buzz in and wake the host up to let us in. Or one day when it was raining and we had to wait outside for a few minutes for the host to come and let us in. It's really a small thing because the hosts didn't mind opening the gate and letting guests back in no matter what time it is, but I did feel a little bad waking them up every night when we needed to be let in. I would have preferred the option of a key or key card that unlocks the front gate so we could come and go as we please. But other than that, it was a phenomenal stay and we would 100000000% stay here again.

I don't know where to start, this place made me feel like I was part of their family, it truly felt like I was visiting my relatives, it was defenetily the best time I had on my visit to Vietnam, I also recommend the cooking cloos with miss Veena, her stern instructions and great humour will undoubtedly make you fall in love with the Vietnamese cuisine, the dishes we made were so delicious I couldn't believe I had part in making them. Thanks to Mr. Ho as well for taking us to the market and teaching us about all the ingredients used in our dishes, his constant cheery attitude really put a smile on our faces. The great sense of humour of the staff and the fact I was so comfortable just signing with them made this an extra special place in my heart. See you again soon, regards from Rouben "veggie boy"
