Fantastic hotel within 10mins walk to Hoi An Old Town - which was wonderful to be able to trek back & forth over the day and enjoy the fabulous food in the old Town in the evening too. Rooms are extremely clean, the staff are exceptional and extremely accommodating and the pool is great to enjoy in the heat of the afternoon or evening. The gardens are lovely particularly for breakfast. Free bikes on offer to get around quicker. We had a fun bike adventure to the vegetable garden followed by an amazing extremely delicious cooking class run by one of the lovely chefs at the hotel - we would highly recommend it!! We had an early flight when leaving and they packed us a breakfast pack for the road 😀

Since it is located in the old town it is NOiSY… the hotel is between 2 schools - drums banged around 6-7am, extremely loud music played in the afternoon - & big groups of oldies seem to stay here who make an absolute racket when congregating.

Great breakfast. Lots of options. On the spot cooked eggs, crepes and soup. Tall glasses to make iced coffees, nice fruit, array of baked pastries (sugared donuts were yum) Best breakfast out of all of our locations in Vietnam and this hotel was our cheapest of those. Not super crowded which was good as well. Location was great. Walk to the old town area, tailors, leather shops, night market, lantern boats, memories show etc. It was very much above our expectations.

Didn’t bother us but… the side of the bath to get into for the shower was quite high- a little step stool was there but I can see this could be a problem for people with mobility issues.

We had an excellent stay at The Hoi An Historic Hotel. All the staff were so lovely and friendly. It was never too much trouble to answer our questions and they booked us tours and drivers for very reasonable prices. Special mention to Nguyen at the Western Bar. The massages were amazing at the onsite Day Spa. The rooms were fantastic. Most with their own balcony. So clean. The buffet breakfast was extensive and so good. Loved the free bicycles. This Hotel is like an oasis in the middle of all the hustle and bustle with extensive lawns and a beautiful pool. Within walking distance to everything in the old town. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Hoi An. We will definitely be back again. 10/10.

The location was great, very close to the Night Market, Japanese Bridge (900m), pagodas and restaurants. The room was spacious, good a/c, balcony, bed, pillows and shower were amazing The breaksfast was incredible with many options for european and asian preferences. The pool was also very good Hotel wifi was ok, not great The staff was very friendly and polite

The staff could be a bit more quiet in the morning until 8 am around the rooms. The gym could be improved with yoga matress and weight bar with weights. Personally i think the drinks were too expensive (75.000 a tiger beer) and the spa prices were more than 2x the price you pay in any massage place in Hoi An. Laundry prices also inflated, you can pay 100.000 to wash all your clothes across the street while in the hotel for this price you can wash 2 shirts. I understand hotel prices are higher but i think they were too much.

Great location - very central to everything one may want to explore whilst in Hoi An. Received room upgrade and was able to check in with early. Rooms had everything we needed for a short stay.

Mosquitos in room of nighttime. Remedy offered was to spray room with aerosol bug spray. Not good if you like to live more on the natural side. Most other accoms in SE Asia provide essential oil plug ins.

The location is perfect for the 'old town' being just across the road. The hotel itself is a charming colonial design set within beautiful quiet gardens away from the hustle and bustle of the main street. The facilities were excellent with lots of interesting activities for the guests. The pool is an ideal size for swimming and was never too busy. The best part was being able to swim from 7am until 9pm and everyone loves a late evening dip to cool off. The breakfast was comprehensive and would satisfy anyone with it's varied dishes on offer. The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful and always said hello when passing. The rooms were a delight and always cool. After room service, the maid would always turn on the A/C so the room was always cool when we arrived back. What was even nicer was that when the maid had finished cleaning, she would switch on the hallway light, so when we popped in our key card for power, the light would come on immediately, so no struggling for light switches. What a delight it was to stay here. I would definitely return.

There was nothing not to like as everything was perfect. My partner received a vase of roses for his birthday which was such a nice surprise. Mine was 3 days later and l was left feeling disappointed as l didn't receive anything! Oh well, l guess you can't have everything, but overall a wonderful place to stay.

The Historic at HoiAn is a great choice for any visitors to Hoi An. Located on a large garden property on the edge of the old town with plenty of room to enjoy the surroundings. Pool was large and we even had a daily delivery of large blocks of ice to keep the pool cool. Rooms are spacious, water pressure good and rooms maintained well. Breakfasts were very good and we had the added bonus of being able to sit outside under the huge trees on a large patio area. The staff were very friendly and would greet guests and converse with us at all times. We especially would like to highlight Tien and Tran who helped out daily with special food requests. This is a hotel that we would love to come back to.

Great location, only a few minutes walk into the old town. The staff were very friendly and responded quickly to all of our requests (such as booking transport and tours). The room was tidy and spacious, the pool area was fantastic, and breakfast was really good. We also used the hotel bicycles to explore the area. I would highly recommend.

Everything was really good. If there was one thing that I feel could be improved, it would be the poolside service being a little faster. The drinks were cold, and the cocktails were great. The hotel could add a couple more staff to this area. (This is a minor piece of feedback on what was an exceptional experience).

The buffet breakfast, pool, gym and overall amenities and activities offered by the hotel was fantastic. Exactly what you would expect given the cost and star rating of the hotel.

Despite all the inclusions, amenities and wonderful staff, I feel like the price still isn't justified. A little too expensive and you could easily find a cheaper hotel in a similar location. However, if you want the best of the best, it is clear that this hotel offers that in its breakfast buffet, service, amenities and overall feel. It is like you are in a resort and no other hotel offers this kind of experience in Hoi An. It is a huge hotel and you forget that the hustle and bustle of Hoi An is right outside your door step. Very rare to get this in such a prime location! But be prepared to pay big dollars for it!

The location is amazing to the old town area of Hoi An - easy walking distance. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The room was spacious and overlooked the pool.

There were some works going on underneath my room - they were upgrading the gym area and there was loud noises in the morning throughout the day. I was not aware of this prior to making my booking. However, having said this, it did not impact on my stay as the works started at about 8am and I was up and about.
