Fantastic hotel within 10mins walk to Hoi An Old Town - which was wonderful to be able to trek back & forth over the day and enjoy the fabulous food in the old Town in the evening too. Rooms are extremely clean, the staff are exceptional and extremely accommodating and the pool is great to enjoy in the heat of the afternoon or evening. The gardens are lovely particularly for breakfast. Free bikes on offer to get around quicker. We had a fun bike adventure to the vegetable garden followed by an amazing extremely delicious cooking class run by one of the lovely chefs at the hotel - we would highly recommend it!! We had an early flight when leaving and they packed us a breakfast pack for the road 😀

Since it is located in the old town it is NOiSY… the hotel is between 2 schools - drums banged around 6-7am, extremely loud music played in the afternoon - & big groups of oldies seem to stay here who make an absolute racket when congregating.

Great location - very central to everything one may want to explore whilst in Hoi An. Received room upgrade and was able to check in with early. Rooms had everything we needed for a short stay.

Mosquitos in room of nighttime. Remedy offered was to spray room with aerosol bug spray. Not good if you like to live more on the natural side. Most other accoms in SE Asia provide essential oil plug ins.

Location, it's very close to the ancient town and walkable distance to all attractions. It's spacious, has a big pool and the breakfast was good.

There is no dedicated smoking area marked. So people smoke almost everywhere. We couldn't enjoy the open area breakfast since people were smoking there.

This hotel is perfectly located, comfortable, fantastic breakfast, free bikes for cycling around Hoi An. The spa was brilliant too.

The bar staff at pool bar need to get off their mobile phones and actually serve customers. Far too slow.

Lovely pool with comfy seating, breakfast buffet was quite delicious and a little different each day. Staff were friendly and attentive. All of the cleaners and gardeners were especially lovely, always greeting you with a smile. The gardens were lovely and well maintained and location couldn't be beat. Easy walking distance to the river and all the Ancient town had to offer.

Sometimes at night, something in our room made a humming sound. But I sleep with ear plugs so didn't bother me so much! The shower in one room wasn't amazing because if it was in the holder it blasted water on the floor, but we had adjoining rooms so again wasn't an issue for us.

The location was very handy, you were in walking distance to the old town and the market. An abundance of restaurants and shopping close by. Got by without having to taxi back and forth, and could visit the old town throughout the day and go back to your hotel when you wanted a break. The breakfast offered was fantastic, the variety was broad and the staff were very friendly and out to please.

Our room, whilst spacious, clean and nicely presented, was positioned poorly, ground floor, right next to the side street, with no view. There was a small courtyard, but felt like you were sitting in the traffic. Whilst the bathroom was decent size and presented well, the shower head provided could not be used without being hand held, thus you could not stand under a shower for a wash - it was a one handed juggling affair.

Loved this hotel! Very luxurious and spacious feel. - Location: It is right outside the historic Hoi An city center, 2 minutes walk. Every evening we would go there for shopping, amazing food, a river boat ride as well. An Bang BEACH was only 15 mins by cab (very cheap using Grab App) - Restaurant served good food at all times. It had ample outside seating in the shade of the trees and hence it was cool all the time, better than inside seating - Swimming pool was amazing. There were shallow section for kids but also a 1.8 meters deep end that we and our son enjoyed jumping in - Room was spacious, with a balcony. And our superior room had a MASSIVE bed, a great plus when sleeping with kids - There were multiple ponds in the hotel with fish, toads and lily pads and was very entertaining for my son - Gym was a bit small but enough for workouts - BENEFITS - Beause we booked a superior room for 5 nights, we got 15% discount on all meals, 2 drinks and also a cab to the airport, which was an added benefit.

I noticed mosquitos in the restaurant and gym in the mornings. And as our son is highly allergic, had to go everywhere with a mosquito spray. I hope the hotel staff starts spraying these areas with mosquito killing sprays before opening, couple times a day.

Our room was pleasant with a balcony overlooking the pool, which we used quite a lot. The beds were by far the most comfortable that we’ve experienced while traveling in Vietnam. Nice pool which we spent some time enjoying every day during our 6 day visit. Staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly & couldn’t do enough for you. And the breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of foods and plenty of it. Location was ideal, right on the edge of Hoi An Old Town. We loved this hotel & hope to return one day!

Really can’t think of anything. The shower was in the bath which required using a small step to get into it which might be a problem for some people, but we didn’t find it an issue.

Close to all amenities. Perfect location to easily walk to dinner, the water, the bridge, and shop. The staff were happy to help, and nothing was too much trouble for them Breakfast was fresh and varied every day with lots to choose from, eggs, bacon, Vietnamese noodles, curries, fresh fruit, crepes, and crossaints, to name a few items. It was one of the best breakfasts I have encountered after many trips away. The price was very reasonable and the room was very clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay there again.

Hoi Historic Hotel was a delightful oasis and place to relax in comfort whilst still being able to closely and conveniently access all of the historic sights of Hoi An old town. The rooms were spacious and clean with cable t.v, excellent wi-fi, air-conditioning and room service. I requested a connecting room so that we could be next to our young adult children and they very happily obliged the request. The buffet breakfasts were fantastic with many options to choose from. The pool area was also very nice and had drink and meal services. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Out of all of our stays in 5 different hotels and locations over our Vietnam holiday, we rate the Hoi An Historic Hotel as our stand out favourite.

The only small let down was that we had a room with a bath, which meant that the shower head was really a hose with a very small shower head which wasn’t very effective if you prefer to have showers instead of baths. Our children had a shower next door which looked to be very good, so at time of booking probably best to mention your preferred bathroom arrangement. .
