The Kaia Hotel is amazing in every way. The design and ambience both in the common areas and in the rooms is incredible. The location is at the end of a quiet street between the old town and the rice paddies. It’s only 10 min walk to the old town, but we loved returning to the peacefulness of the hotel at the end of each day. While the hotel itself is beautiful, what really sets the Kaia apart is the service. We were mostly looked after by Emily who went above and beyond to help us with every aspect of our stay in HoiAn, in a friendly and caring way. Every one of Emily’s recommendations was perfect and we felt like we were treated to a personalized experience of HoiAn. My sister and I stayed at the Kaia for 7 nights and were both sad to leave. We would strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again if we come back to HoiAn.

Our stay at Kaia Gallery Hotel was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and looked after by Emily, who is truly the sweetest and most helpful host we’ve encountered on our trip. She went above and beyond—recommending the best restaurants, bars, and local activities that made our time in Hoi An unforgettable. The hotel itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of character. Our room was immaculate and incredibly comfortable, and the laundry service was impeccable (a real bonus for travelers). We loved that the hotel is located just outside the city centre—close enough to walk or bike in, but far enough to escape the noise and crowds. It felt like our own little sanctuary. Everything—from the calming ambiance to the delicate scent throughout the space—contributed to a deeply relaxing experience. We enjoyed every single minute of our stay and honestly didn’t want to leave. Thank you for making our Hoi An trip so special. We can’t wait to come back!

This really is quite an exceptional hotel, run with superb warmth, care and attention to detail by Nancy and Emily. They helped me with great suggestions for HoiAn activities and local restaurants. The hotel’s aesthetics are chic European, with distinctly Japanese accents… the rooms are compact but with a gloriously comfortable king bed and quality linens. The bathrooms have rainhead showers with great water pressure. Breakfast is tailored to one’s personal preferences, all presented on handmade crockery.. Thank you for a truly superb stay,by far the best in my Vietnamese travels.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The atmosphere is cool and calming, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The rooms are spotlessly clean and equipped with all the basic amenities you might need. The location is fantastic – just a few minutes’ walk to the old town, which makes sightseeing incredibly convenient. What truly stood out, though, was the wonderful staff. They were not only kind and helpful but also engaged in such lovely and genuine conversations that made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located, and welcoming place to stay!

Room was beautiful, cosy and clean, and the hotel had a small gallery on Level 1 available for viewing upon request. Nancy and other staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and provided great local suggestions, assistance with organising transport for various trips and offered discounts for activities. Highly recommend if you would like stay somewhere quiet a bit further out from the town centre.

Lobby area could be a bit hot at times as there isn't central cooling, but otherwise the room was well air conditioned.

We stayed at Kaia Gallery hotel for 3 nights while in Hoi An and it was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam! The location is perfect. Easy walking distance to the old town but also easy biking distance to the farming village and beach. But by far the thing that sets Kaia apart was the service. We experienced a lot of great hospitality throughout Vietnam, but Emily and Nancy were by far the best hosts we encountered. They were helpful with setting up transportation, assisting with booking activities, and overall extremely friendly! Additionally, the list of local recommendations the hotel provides was excellent! There are certainly a lot of options for where to stay in Hoi An, but Kaia Gallery has to be one of the best available. I highly recommend!

The service at Kaia Gallery Hotel was absolutely incredible. Nancy was in contact with us before we even arrived, helping us organise a very affordable taxi to the hotel from the airport. During our stay, Nancy also helped organise motorbike rentals, gave fabulous recommendations for local food spots, and more. Our room was spotless and was stocked up with lots of water everyday. The hotel was the perfect walking distance from old town and in a quiet area. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at Kaia.

Kaia is a beautiful little hotel down a fairly quiet street, a short walk to the Old Town as well as a short ride/bike/scooter to the rice fields & beach. Room was well designed with all the amenities you’d need (including a good desk). The best part in my opinion though is the fact that the hotel shares a comprehensive list of their favourite local recommendations when you arrive and can help with a myriad of more recs for tours, etc.

During my recent trip to Vietnam, I had the pleasure of staying at Kaia Gallery Hotel Hoian and it was by far the best accommodation of my journey. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by an incredibly warm and welcoming staff. Their attention to detail and eagerness to help made me feel right at home. The room design truly stood out—modern, elegant, and full of thoughtful touches. I loved the attention to detail. The room was immaculately clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. After long days of exploring, it was a joy to come back to such a relaxing space.

This place, the people, the design and the atmosphere are so unique and amazing here! It was by far the best stay during my 3 weeks in Vietnam! I spent 4 days here and even after extending my stay it is hard for me to leave this wonderful place. The people here welcome you with open arms, help with every question, make awesome recommendations and share their experience and knowledge of Hoi An and beyond. The owners are designers and artists and you can feel it in every corner of this amazing place. They have a wonderful small gallery where they display their art, too. To anyone coming to Hoi An, this is a must stay and you will be glad that you chose this place. To the Kaia team: Thank you for making my stay here wonderful and so memorable.
