Beautiful reception LOCATION: Perfectly located next to white sandy beach, bars & restaurants. Close to the airport, great views across Botany Bay & airport runways. View of Sydney skyline. ROOMS: Ours had a balcony with views over bay, hotel pools & gardens. Large room with comfy bed, en-suite shower room, desk & sofa. Fluffy towels & pleasant toiletries. Tea & coffee, plus milk in fridge. Immaculately presented hotel & rooms. STAFF: Reception staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful. BREAKFAST: Good range of cooked foods, including ‘egg station’ , plus breads, yoghurts, fruit & pastries

Suggestions/issues: -Lack of sockets/usb mainly on one side of bed. -Bath robe would have been nice -Coffee machine (although did have sachets of instant coffee)

The theme of the property was excellent dining in the restaurant and staff in the restaurant were fabulous as where the bar staff

I had difficulty at reception I had two bookings one for each night I originally only booked for 1 night but decided to add another night prior to the check in date I had to go to reception and get my room key re done as I was told it was two different bookings, although I stayed in the same room Reception said its the new system we have This should be streamlined as it is inconvenient as I was in a 2 day conference and could not use my room on the second day until I attended reception to update my room access hard to find the time and if reception was busy I had to go back The system should be more customer focussed

Nice hotel beautiful pool area and restaurant good location huge rooms on a wet week we uld have made more of outside space if weather hadn’t been so bad. Enjoyed the outdoor spa even if pool was like an ice bath

Heated Indoor pool as it’s in the fitness suite is not available for U18s so becomes pointless for families. Uber drivers struggled to find the main entrance. access to the adjoining seafront Coco Beach restaurant goes through the pokie machines so families have to walk outside

We love everything in this beautiful hotel,the position,the room with view to Brighton Beach ⛱️,the ambience and pool.The bar and restaurant Ammos,wow ! The food to die for,fresh,rich Greek and International cuisine. The sea food fantastic and the surroundings superb.The last evening dinner with a friends will be forever in my book ,because of the exellent service ,special a girl with name Rosa. Thanks again dear girl,wishing you the best.Chrismas coming soon and the atmosphere in Novotel is already very festive. Merry Christmas all!

Just the first night of our stay ,I have call in 9.30pm.,after long flights,I don't understand why the receptionist should asking me if I paid the room ,when the booking is through Book.com and is for 2 nights.What was so urgent to disturbing my dream and relaxing time ?Next day the Manager made up and apologies,and we take this apologies with late check out 12pm. But mistake can happen,we understand.

I loved that it was clean, decorated beautifully, modern and spacious. The entry lobby feels so luxurious with lots of seating area. I especially loved that our room has a separate lounge area. Great coffee shops and restaurants around the area.

I did not like that our room did not have a microwave or a toaster. It meant we couldn’t have a crumpet with our coffee or pop corn to watch a movie. I also did not like that kids were not permitted to swim in the heated pool.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. Initially, we were assigned a room at the back of the property with an uninspiring view of rooftops. After expressing our concerns, the staff graciously upgraded us to a stunning presidential suite, which made a significant difference in our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated, with a fantastic restaurant and bar offering great food and ambiance. The pool area, with its Mediterranean-inspired design, was a highlight of our visit and reminded us of Greece.

The pool area was tranquil and relaxing although later in the day, the atmosphere changed when it became more crowded with people off the street, It would be great if the hotel could ensure that all guests adhere to consistent standards for pool attire to maintain the experience for everyone using the facilities. Not allowing people to swim fully clothed.

I’m only local . And I booked to stay with my partner But she was sick last minute . And I couldn’t cancel for another time . So I stayed alone to make use of my booking . I actually loved it . I forgot how nice the area is . I had a swim . Had dinner on level 3 . Then slept very well . My partner missed out . I said I will take her another time . My mum passed away a few weeks ago . Location was good, near the beach. Breakfast was lovely. Bar food was very good.

The hotel is near the airport so must be popular with travellers. However, the hotel doesn't allow people to use the pool area after check out. The hotel doesn't offer use of a room with towels, for a freshen up before an evening flight, even for a generic fee. The only option is to pay 30 A$ per hour to extend use of the room and to use the facilities. We found this unusual, given other hotels attitudes to guests with late flights.

We had an amazing view of the beach and the resort court (pools and outdoor dining area). The location of the hotel was of course excellent, right on the beach, and very close to public transportation. The breakfast was 1st class - everything you could think of was available to eat, and the rooms simply comfortable and clean.

Whilst the hotel did express that it was under construction, it was unfortunate that the bulk of the hammering seemed to take place between 7am and 9am when people are most likely still sleeping. This should ideally be done during the day when patrons are likely to be out of their rooms and not disturbed and woken up by the noise. Also, the toilets do not have locks on them - not very practical for most customers.
