Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Kitchen wasn’t very clean but what do you expect from a hostel I guess! We left our bags in the luggage room and upon Collection it was apparent at least one case had been opened, clothes were rearranged and there was some luggage labels within the case, when I spoke to reception they said they didn’t know how it had happened but offered no apology or explanation. It’s not the end of the world, as far as we could tell Nothing was missing and it didn’t stop us booking another night but it’s something to be mindful Of as the luggage room doesn’t appear to have cameras.

The shared facilities were clean, especially the bathroom, very organised, probably the best shared hostel I've been to. The location in the city and value for money was amazing. The shared spaces for leisure, like the bar, table tennis, movie theatre and multiple good places to chill outdoors and get good views of the city was great!

The kitchen utensils and pans felt a bit unclean at times (but it's the best I've ever seen from a hostel), and it's not the hostels fault but a lot of people kept breaking the rule of "wash your dishes before eating" leaving the sink sometimes pretty gross.

I liked the social aspect, the only down side would be the early 9pm stop drinking, 10pm would be abit more reasonable especially as its quite a socially focused hostel. I liked the variety in games available, I wish the pool was either way cheaper or free to play, $1 per game would bring in more games being played and encourage others to play together especially if it's raining. Over all happy with my stay, even extended my stay one night very easily 😊

Facilities like bedding and showers were abit on the small side for a tall person like myself but other than that was decent stay and met my overall expectations

This place is massive yet they manage to cater to everyone without feeling too crowded. Point proven by the excellent kitchen, which always had people using it, yet was never too difficult to find a space. The view from the roof is glorious. It'll be perfect for you if you like the younger party crowd.

The wifi had connectivity issues in my room. The general vibe was fun but also a little too party for me, and my sleep was disrupted many nights. Without giving away too much information, this hostel gets super crazy after hours, I saw some things I dare not repeat. There are no lockers in the rooms which is ridiculous. It's impossible to feel like your possessions are safe, and it isn't much to ask that hostels dedicate a tiny bit of money to our peace of mind.

Fantastic location, small coffee shop on site was a huge perk. Staff were really wonderful and accommodating. Showers were warm and had good pressure. Outdoor area is spacious and relaxing. Events on in the evenings too!

The kitchen was a bit chaotic. Considering the amount of people in the hostel, (there’s about 60 rooms or something similar!) there was enough storage for everyone but meal times could be very busy. Staff did their best to keep the area clean and tidy. There was also small areas of mould in the downstairs showers.

An awesome wee backpackers, very close to Train and Bus station and a 10 minute walk to South Bank and the city. With spectacular views over the city and south bank Has everything you need, a little tired but very comfortable. Staff were amazing. We were upgraded to a private room with private bathroom... it was really nice to have a personal space There were a lot of stairs and not everything was easy to find but that gives it the quaintness for privacy in a shared space

Shared kitchen was often dirty, and hard to find clean cutlery or dishes There was an awful smell coming from bathroom drain Beds were comfortable but the double bed made an awful noise everytime you rolled over Some of the guests were very noisey and disrespectful of the rules

Friendly staff, great rooftop with amazing view over the city, and quite a good location (15 min walk from the bus station, connected with busses from or to city centre, and close to the Southbank). Enough space in the room and my bed was comfy.

The facilities in general look horrible, very old school. The bathrooms are not practical as there is no space to put your things. The sinks are very small and the shower rooms have one hanger. Also I felt that hostel was not very social. It was hard to meet people as there were no events or gatherings.

inconvenient for solo travller with big luggage(location is on the hill), some people will keep partying until midnight, cannot avoid noise perfectly

Came over for magic round and was very happy with the property. Right by Caxton street which was ideal. Plenty of space around the property to chill out.

Beds were pretty rough but when it’s so much cheaper than the hotels etc you can’t really complain, would happily put up with that. Can be a bit noisey late however the room was the first in the aisle so was just unfortunate position.

Great outdoor spaces! Bathrooms were surprisingly clean. Our main bathroom was mixed (one stall for females only). Pricing is very fair too and the staff were nice. Location is very good, about a 10 minute walk from Queen Street Mall. There's a Coles and Pharmacy just across the road.

Rooms got a little hot over night so we had to leave the windows open. Downside was that it let in all the noise from the hostel, but it was pretty quiet after 11pm.
