Imagine that you are overseas, your flight back to Australia is running 5 hours late, it is the middle of the night over there & you will be missing your connecting flight to Brisbane. I emailed Abbey on Roma and said that we will be late and when I landed in Sydney there was a reply giving a code for the front doors & another code for the key safe. When we finally arrived, we opened the front door, collected the key, went to our room & soon after fell into a deep sleep on a beautifully comfortable bed. Fantastic!

Location, Security, Convenience, Windows, Balcony. Full size fridge. Coffee Shop/Cafe outside down stairs.

Room 503. Looks like it is being renovated but not finished yet. Works so far looks good. Style of Appartment would not suit everyone as the bathroom facilities are via the bedroom and not always convenient for clients. No clothes airer. No suitcase stand. No ceiling fans. No instructions for the combination front loading washing machine/dryer so we were not able to use it. Lack of some kitchen facilities only 2 of everything. Bathtub could be dangerous for older people.

Loved the full kitchen and our room was directly across from the pool. Everything was nice and clean, except the bathroom floor could use a good scrub it was a bit muddy in there. The full laundry was really handy as well, so we always had clean towels which was amazing.

There was a guy in the lobby while I was waiting for my friend to arrice that kept blowing a smoke machine it was a bit sureal, I can imagine if you havent experianced that sort of thing before it would be a bit freaky, but I thought it was a cool gimmic.

We had a great stay in 1206 and 605 . Staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet except for the odd hoon outside and we come from the country where we actually "listen" for odd sounds. Air conditioning was quiet and effective . We came from down south and it was hot up there.

I see quite a few small maintenance jobs need attending too as little things get bigger then it starts to look unkept. Just issues like the shower leaking up at the wall (I did report that on leaving )One sliding door the rollers were tight or worn out was difficult to open.(605) A piece of carpet edging was coming off (605) The power point was in a ridiculous spot as we had to pull the matrass back to find them hidden in the middle of the headboard . Wife has a cpap machine and point on the other side of the room was too far. Should have one each side of bed.

Room 906 Late check in - communications were straight forward and easy to do. Reception staff for the week were super friendly and helpful. That goes for all staff including cleaners & pool guy. Bin and recycle location was communicated and accessible night & day. Appreciate the room was serviced well once during 8 day stay as this was at no extra cost and was needed mid week.

Unfortunately construction early mornings was not nice BUT THIS WAS ALSO COMMUNICATED and TO BE EXPECTED. It was a busy weekend with semi final NRL & AFL in the city as well as the start of school holidays with the central city location I had expected much more disruption & disturbance.

I especially like the location of this aparthotel because it's only a walk across the road to the Roma Street Station. Nights are quiet and makes sleeping very peaceful and comfortable. It is also a close walk to the nearest Milk Bar and Woolies minimart. The room was slightly smaller than the one I checked into last year, but having cooking equipment and a fridge enables one to store frozen goods and cook like home.

The shower rose in my bathroom was a bit blocked and it took me longer to shower than usual. Otherwise, there were no major issues that I found whilst staying here.

The self contained cooking facility was perfect

Having no reception after hours was a bit of a challenge. We had a fire alarm go off and couldn’t get into the room after I had evacuated for a brief moment

Our room 1305 needed a complete refurbishment, including replacing the worn & stained carpets. Holes & wall damage, replacement fittings with the repaint not done. Boy I could go on. The sofa was tired also, & the exhaust fans & grates needed the dust cleaned from them. Couldn’t get TV reception either, & to switch the living room lights off, the door card had to be removed, which shut everything down! Goodness get that room up to a decent standard. A pity as overall we had a comfortable stay.

We were travelling from airport and had to catch a train the following day and this location is absolutely perfect across from the station and bus stops . Our unit looked brand new after a renovation so everything inside was new including washing machine and drier Short walk to river ferries as well We would recommend a stay here

I like how its a simple process to getting an apartment and the staff are so helpful I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay or just passing through well located to everything you could possibly need to shopping groceries, clothing and anything you could think of, and nature walks around the Brisbane city river is my favourite and the public transport is just literally at the front door Wether it be the train,bus,taxi,uber even the electric scooter if not walk is the perfect one because you can see Brisbane city at its full potential my ideal kind of place to relax.

Hmm hard to say just that I have to leave lols
