Mill tower hotel is my favourite hotel in Brisbane, I've stayed in many including the fancy ones. I love the balcony, fresh air, older style, views and looking at the Mill. The staff aren't pretentious and are friendly. I love the convenience of the nearby pharmacy, bar, cafe and restaurant. I love that it is close to Queen st, but above it and less busy. I love the price.

If you plan to eat in hotel room, remember to get cutlery and maybe plates too as rooms only have a fridge and coffee and tea making equipment, teaspoons, glasses and mugs. But lots of great affordable options nearby.

I was looking for a place to stay while spending the night for a concert, and I'm glad I picked Madison Tower Mill. Bed was comfy, room was well furnished, great proximity to a train station on the airport line and to the city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job with room cleanliness, no strange smells or missed spots. Room had controllable A/C and a bar fridge, along with tea & coffee facilities. Foyer had a vending machine available. Curtains blocked enough light for me to have a sleep in the afternoon. There is a convenience store a very short walk from the location.

An extra full sized pillow would have been the only thing I would have wished for.

Amazing room it honestly felt like an airbnb with how homey it was. The staff in the reception and bar were incredibly friendly and very welcoming. Overall the property was great, the elevator was fast and comfortable and the layout of the room was ergonomically designed.

We did have a few issues with the tv like the connection with Netflix and room casting however these were easily resolvable with a little bit of patience. The bathroom felt slightly cramped especially when we’re both trying to use the mirror but again this wouldn’t be an issue if we had just taken turns. We did find the aircon dripped a lot and the placement wasn’t all that great but it definitely cooled the room down fast.

Great location, room was spacious, and they look to have been recently updated. Level of cleanliness was great Nice variety of tea/coffee and the coffee machine was appreciated Staff were super helpful and friendly all weekend.

Unfortunately the property suffered a maintenance issue relating to hot water systems outside of their control whilst we were staying. However staff were super helpful and apologetic. Unfortunate timing given the public holidays otherwise I’m sure it would have been resolved quicker. No USB chargers in room but plenty of power points for charging

Excellent value for Money. Photos were accurate. Very tidy room and bathroom. Loved the extras available if needed (dental kit, shaving kit). Staff were super helpful. Beds were so comfortable and had extra linen, pillows and blankets in the room if needed. Air conditioning worked really well. Also had so many tea/coffee options including a coffee pod machine, kettle and milk frother. Restaurant and pool tables downstairs is very handy. Great view and great location!

No microwave/toaster in the room which was a little unusual considering all the other items available, but with a restaurant downstairs and delivery to room available, its no drama!

The hotel rooms have been renovated, so everything felt fresh and clean, including the bathroom. I appreciated the conveniently placed power outlets throughout the room. They do an amazing job with the cleaning, and it feels nice to stay here. I stayed in a standard room, which is perfect for one person. It might be a bit small for two people, but it would be fine for a 1-2 night stay.

I didn't enjoy the food at the restaurant downstairs, and I'm not a picky eater. It's nice to have a meal at the end of the day without leaving the hotel, but the quality of the cooking made me want to dine elsewhere. However, the service was good.

Easy walking distance from Central Station. Lots of nearby eating places, grocer, hairdresser, chemist etc. Has a driveway off the busy road for pickups or dropoffs. I was impressed when staff member left reception desk & came with me to my room to show me how to operate TV. Nice eating place downstairs was handy when storm hit & it was too wet to go elsewhere. Yummy food! Oh, & my room had been renovated, as opposed to the more tired-looking one I stayed in last year. Its appliances were modern, floor was lovely polished wood, everything was new-looking & well looked-after.

The view from my room. Although I looked straight across at the historic tower mill (which was lovely) my Level 1 balcony was directly above a green metal roof, hiding any possible view. Apart from a wardrobe with hangers, there was nowhere to store other clothing, no shelves or drawers. The lack of an overhead light was difficult. There are various lamps dotted around, but not one for the whole room.

Love the bed sheets. Nice and crisp. View was epic. Very clean except for the 2nd day at which point the cleaner left a very long ginger pube on the toilet by the flush button. I left it hoping they would notice the next day. It lived there for 3 days. I'm not cleaning random pubes. But Barr this, it really was otherwise very clean and well kept.

TV was very static. Some days more than others but was entirely unsuccessful, which at times meant I had to sit in silence. The fridge also made a banging noise every hour or 2 . You notice it alot at night. Took me a while to figure out what it was because i thought it was the aircon at first. The pillows were horrible. Very cheap, thin, floppy and lumpy.

Well priced. Great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. And especially as I forgot a couple of items when I left and they helped me get them back. Room was clean and roomy. Bed was very comfy. Big tv. Hotel connected - discount on food and drinks because you are staying there. Food was delicious! A “call a taxi” button at reception! Fantastic idea!! It’s the little things!!! Balcony to sit on and look at the park which was nice. Really happy with everything about our stay here.

Nothing…. Just a note… There’s a hot plate but no plates, cooking items if you wanted that - nor a microwave. These didn’t worry us as we didn’t intend on cooking or heating anything up while there. Could make a cuppa and that was all we needed. So it’s not something I didn’t like just a observation

The obvious main quality of this hotel is it's excellent location, especially accounting for the price in my case. I liked that the room became very dark and quiet when we needed to sleep, but sunny and bright when we opened the curtains. The fact that the hotel is a tower, that is, round, is interesting as well. The building is cool and there is a nice mill facing it as well.

Overall it was not very clean: hair on beds (my wife removed all of them); dusty corners in the room; dirty glass; hair in the corner of the bathroom; dead roaches in the parking lot.
