Location was good, and free car parking underneath apartments was great. The pool and spa were used everyday, and we liked being about to cook ourselves each night. Nice and spacious, and good space in bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

There are a few suggestions we made to management upon departure, to assist with providing some more items for short term stays. We probably could have asked for assistance at reception, but we had early mornings and late nights, so we actually were rarely at accommodation during open hours.

Our third stay at Astor apartments. Location is perfect, close to cbd, buses and central station. Apartment overlooks the suburbs to the north and has outdoor balcony to use to take in the outlook.

Unfortunately the apartment was outdated and needed some tlc used on it. Being in the top floor our north facing kitchen ceiling leaked four to years of moisture in the ceiling space. We struck several days of rain and sourced some spare towels to absorb drips - no one checked on how we were going with the situation after initial contact. Several other items need some attention as well. Other the leaks we did enjoy our stay and utilised all facilities around the area.

The location was very good for three reasons: 1) ease of finding our way there. 2) Not too long a walk to CBD for shopping and meals. 3) Just far enough away from hustle and bustle to afford relativd quiet. It is also well situated for a relatively straight forward drive to the airport. Carparking on site at no extra cost was very much appreciated and what set this property apart from others we saw while searching where to stay. Apartment was very spacious with ample, comfortable furniture. We appreciated the private balcony, the size and appointment of kitchen and the roomy bedroom with plenty of floor space and good size wardrobe. The pool was enjoyed as well. Our room on 8th floor had a nice long view across the skyline. Across 2 nights we heard no sound from other residents.

Cleaning could have more attention to detail. No face washers were supplied and there was no microwave cookware nor a cover for reheating. The reception was not open at all and it wasn't clear how to contact anyone if a need arose.

Great room for an affordable price, located within walking distance to CBD.

We stayed on the same floor as the outside pool, you could see the pool from our balcony. There were pool works happening the morning of our first nights stay, at 8am the noise was so loud and disruptive. It would have been appreciated to be told when checking in about the works. We also dropped headphones that went under the bed, when I went to retrieve them, I found an adult toy under the bed (that didn’t below to us), it made us feel as if the rooms aren’t properly checked over and cleaned thoroughly.

Good location, easy to get to places. Nice cafes right there. Everything in apartment that we needed. Spacious - balcony was good! Pool was lovely! Reception staff lovely and very helpful!

No towels on a late check in so had to wait for reception to open at 8.30am in the morning to collect some, bathroom a little dated but ok, bathtub very dirty - I had to wipe out before use but still grubby - could use a good scrub!! Ordered a fold out bed for 1 of the nights, didn’t set it up till later to find they didn’t give us sheets!

Very spacious and felt like a home away from home. Convenient location and easy to find. Ideal if you have teenagers as they have a spacious room for themselves for their time Great pool and sauna

The parking- there were no designated car parks left one of the nights we stayed and needed to park in an alternative car spot which we had to make an executive decision due to the reception been closed and went answering the phone (we didn’t feel it warranted an emergency call)

Two bedroom with balcony, ensuite and bath/twin shower, full kitchen facilities, airconditioned and heating all working perfectly. Also has own washing machine and dryer. Our son loved access to the swimming pool and hot tub. We didn't use the sauna. We had slight issue, the clothes dryer wasn't working properly as it took the whole night for washing to dry and still wasn't dry at all. Although this was reported to reception, our stay was short. Other than that, we ended up hanging clothes, towels etc outside in front of the bedroom external aircon hub on the balcony.

The location was very good, it's just 5 min walk from CBD. Also the view from the windows/terrace was amazing, especially at night! Our Apartment was huge, Two big bedrooms, two separate bathrooms. We payed a little less as there was some kind of discount so for this price - I would stay there again for sure.

Furniture, bathroom, kitchen were very old, you could see that they were used for many many years. So for example the sofa was ripped a bit, windows were not working properly. Also it was not super clean. So I recommend doing a renovation as with better conditions you could rent this apartment for twice as much.

The location was perfect for the event we were attending. The apartment was large and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were up to date and some other updates like carpet had been made. The balcony was good to have. The carport was secure. There was good storage. The apartment was clean. Two bathrooms. The price was excellent.

The communication was a little confusing at times but we figured it out. The spa and sauna and pool were closed. We had intended to use the sauna and spa. The bathrooms could do with an update. The apartment is older but as a result it is large and well laid out.

Amazing location and a large apartment. The pool and spa were lovely too.

The bedding and towels were clean. However there was rubbish left under the beds and couch. And all the kitchen cutlery/plates etc needed a wash. Lipstick on wine glass and dried food on knives etc. We bought our own dishwasher powder etc so could clean everything as only 1 sachet of dishwasher powder was left, even though we were booked for 5 days.
