The location was really good for us as we were travelling for a medical emergency and we were close to both the specialist and the hospital. Food in the area is really good. Highly recommend the Hill Station Cafe just down the street.

TV Reception was rubbish. Had to rely on mobile coverage for Internet access. Bathroom steams up way too easily and the extraction vent does nothing. Warnings about not leaving the bathroom door open. Unit has a spa bath that doesnt work. No dish cloth in the kitchen for doing dishes.

The host was super helpful and offered to switch our room when the freezer was iced over. The view was great over Brisbane CBD. Location a short walk into the city and we even ventured to Southbank and back. Host easy to communicate with and organize check in. Would recommend to stay here.

Unfortunately a car in the garage banged their door into side of my vehicle leaving a dent. This is not the fault of the accommodation or host, but the fact it happened while parked there has upset me.

Our room was essentially a one-bedroom unit, with full kitchen and utensils, bathroom, washing machine and dryer, loungeroom, dining table, balcony, barbecue ... the list goes on. Most of these I didn't even use, but it felt good that I had a great many options open to me. The city view from the balcony was very pleasant, as I sat reading a book and sipping my morning coffee. I particularly liked that the TV came on instantly when the button was pressed on the remote (I had recently experienced elsewhere a TV that took more than 30 seconds to power up). When I asked for an additional pillow, it was brought to the room within minutes. The Spring Hill location suited me. There was a small supermarket one block to the north for breakfast supplies etc, and the walk to Queen Street Mall was quite manageable downhill (the return uphill was another matter!) There were a few cafes nearby, though some of them didn't open on weekends. The person on reception was helpful and cheerful each time I saw them.

There were several niggling little things that weren't serious enough for me to contact reception. (I know that they would have responded had I asked.) For example, the liquid soap dispenser at the sink was empty, and there was only one small tube of bodywash in the shower -- I simply used the extra tubes of shampoo, since it's all basically detergent anyway. I would advise to request such extras early, as reception is not operated at all times. Parking costs extra; during my trip it was $10 per day, which is inexpensive compared to commercial parking stations, but it would have felt better if the quoted price included parking.

The position is very handy to the city, Roma St Parklands & both St Andrews and Brisbane Private Hospitals. The building manager was exceptionally helpful. The convenience of having cooking facilities and secure parking while my partner was in the hospital made the experience bearable.

The cooking utensils were a bit basic. The Cafe downstairs is closed.

Location excellent. Easy walking into the city, public transport easily accessible. Great views of the city. Friendly staff. We were able to have our small dog there which was amazing. Beautiful parks and gardens just minutes away. Car parking underneath, safe & secure. It was a home away from home for our 9-day stay.

Spacious room with a huge balcony. Washer and dryer were handy and kitchen area well catered for. Very handy for work and parking was complimentary. Wifi was good.

Couple of light switches were broken but no biggie. TV was ancient with no streaming

The location was a bonus just a short walk and we were in the Queen Street Mall, there was a free bus also that did the Spring Hill loop if you had a bit to carry.

We loved the use of the washing machine and dryer as we’d been away for a week in Sydney so could wash our clothes. The balcony was really nice as well to sit outside and have your morning coffee.

The steep hill to get to the property from the city centre was quite hard and would have been no good for older people

we found the manager extremely helpful and polite the room was well maintained and would recommend this hotel as one of the best I have stayed in

There was drilling constantly during week. Whilst note in lift alerted you to it, it should have been mentioned in check-in!
