The hotel was booked through booking.com. I later found out that if I had booked directly with the hotel it would have been the same price. However, the hotel also offered breakfasts, $50.00 credit and free parking included in their price. I contacted booking.com and they advised that they only “price match” and that doesn’t include extras. I have used booking.com for the last few years as I thought they were good value for money and I have reached Level 3. I have now learnt my lesson not to make booking.com the only place to look for accommodation in the future.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful. One of my earrings fell into the sink. I thought it may be retrievable but the pipework would have to be pulled apart. I rang Reception and a gentleman (sorry didn’t get his name) came to the room, pulled the sink pipes apart and retrieved the earring. Wow thank you, as sentimental. Then went to bar and the lovely Carmel served us. Enjoyed the cocktail she made. Dinner was good. The room was clean. The bed was very soft and comfy. We both slept well.

Hard to get parking sometimes.

The room was OK although the shower looked a bit tired. Breakfast was very good. The hotel had a guest laundry facility which was very useful

The sun loungers at the rooftop pool were fixed to the ground so could not be moved around as the sun moved. The canopy providing shade seemed to have a mind of its own, automatically opening and closing every 10 or so minutes! The location is quite a way from the centre and at the top of a hill, so walking back up was quite tiring but it did help our fitness!

Staff were friendly and we could walk to all the places we were going to over the weekend.

That on Friday night we realised the soap/lotion dispenses were mixed up and thought it would be fixed up Saturday when they did our room and it wasn’t. Lotion dispenser was in the shower and 2 soap dispensers were at the vanity sink so we had to step out of the shower to pump soap to wash ourselves, just a little inconvenient. Breakfast was lovely but I asked about GF options and the young lady was helpful and organised some GF toast for me but I was also told the soup was GF and thought maybe I would try some but lucky I’m switched on as it had barley in it and as I’m coeliac this could have meant an awful day for me if I ate it, so I feel ALL staff should understand what they are serving

The hotel is in a quiet location on a hill, very clean and staff friendly. The room was comfy and clean and roof top pool with shower was delightful, especially under the stars. Also enjoyed the gym upstairs. Surprisingly I didn't see any pictures of the breakfast, but it was great; a small buffet style of assorted typical food like bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, cereals, pancakes, fruit, juice, coffee etc... more than you need. Room service and cleaning very good. We stayed for two nights but felt like a week. Recommend.

My room was quite adequate - all I needed was a comfy bed, a clean shower - and the location was good for me because I was in Brisbane to see my husband who is in St Andrews Memorial across the road. I was told that I could only order a "full breakfast" from room service - so I did this, and had NO chance of eating the enormous amount of food I was given. I am elderly and found it difficult to get in and out of the hotel because the steps have no hand rails. Eventually I found another way in but I was very concerned at the beginning. The meal I had in the restaurant was really nice, and I ate it all with relish. All in all, I was quite happy with my visit to your hotel.

The room was quite spacious for what it was. We had the extra buffet breakfast and it was delicious..so fresh and lots of variety to choose from. Next time will bring my swimmers to test out the beautiful outdoor area on the roof top.

Would have liked to have had more water in the bar fridge to drink.. the room could hold 4 people but only two water bottles. Maybe a mini bar in each room for those midnight munchies, and perhaps a kitchen where you could order past 10pm - had o do menulog to get some food would have preferred to have purchased something from the menu in the hotel.

This hotel tries to do better which I appreciate. You could see the effort in this place and we were pleasantly surprised. Bathrooms could be a little bigger but this didnt bother us. Glad it was renovated. Rooms had everything we needed, reception was super helpful. Loved the pool area. Easy location for ubers and to walk to city.

House keeping did miss our room service 1 day. We had the sign for "make our room" on the door but somehow it was missed. We called reception and they quickly brought us everything we needed and the lady was so lovely in doing so.

We booked this hotel for my parents to say thank you and gave them a night out. For me personally, I could not fault the service. I was in contact with Loame who assisted me with booking the hotel on behalf of my parents as a surprise, Loame assisted with payment, organising a platter and wine, and it was a really smooth process. As for the stay, my parents said they couldn’t fault it. From the beautiful staff who were so helpful, to the excellent room service and great food, the beds were comfortable and room was spacious and great views from the balcony. The buffet breakfast was fantastic. The car parking was easy. The staff made it so much better and were just so friendly. We had an excellent stay. Thank you so much!
