Really loved the room we stayed in and, ironically, we had the same room on our last stay too, so the Inchcolm really feels like my home away from home when we stay in Brisbane. The location is fabulous for walking around Brisbane and for the event we were in Brisbane for at the Tattersalls Club. We enjoyed the little extras such as the snacks and fruit that were available all day. The staff are discreet and friendly. The bar is gorgeous. This is my go-to accommodation when in Brisbane. We loved it!

There was really nothing we didn't like about our stay at all. Our pillows were slightly uncomfortable (too high), but wow, that's a first world problem and I am sure they would have been changed had we asked.

The elegance of the room with a quality record player in room 205 was quite a wonderful surprise given i have an extensive collection of vinyl. Room size and bathroom was ideally suited for a three night stay, with an elegant bar and wardrobe design to suite. Engagement of warm knowledgeable staff, is an envious quality most properties do not have the person luxury.. recognising Brodie on reception, reservations and rooms management as an essential asset.

A small point of aesthetics to room 205 with the centre square book/coffee table, being the corners edges for toes and shines, in the small hours making you're way to the bathroom.. suggest round in similar design.

The Inchcolm is such a beautiful Art Deco/Georgian style building, it’s such a delight to stay in something a bit different from the stock standard hotel. This is the second time I’ve stayed, this time in a bigger room. Everything is well appointed and clean. The scent in the hallway can be a bit overwhelming if you’re not used to strong perfume smells. The bed is super soft and feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Unfortunately this stay there wasn’t any room service menu available and no room service breakfast. The only available onsite breakfast was a couple of small pastries and a coffee in a takeaway cup, a bit disappointing. The mini bar was a bit lacking as well. I’ve provided feedback directly to the hotel.

The property was amazing and very close to all medical specialists on Wickham Terrace. A little walk up the Terrace from the City. However, Brisbane City Council has introduced a new free bus service called the spring Hill loop bus. Operates 15min regular pick-ups and drop off's along the way. Made getting around up and down the Terrace 0much easier.

No guest information in room to advise how to operate the TV. Very unusual TV set up. Unable to get a TV signal. Was advised by staff to watch channels through Apple TV l. Only able to access 3 TV stations. Restaurant menu on QR code in room, dinner menu only. Limited choice and quite expensive. A couple of restaurants 400 mtrs approximately from hotel. Indian and Italian.

Had been hoping to stay in the Inchcolm for quite some time, due to it's obvious striking Classic architectural appeal which did not disappoint. Tastefully Retro styled and filled with interesting artefacts so quite quirky. Room was extra large , well equipped , bed extra comfy and great city view. Felt more than pampered. Location fantastic. Easy walk to all amenities and City Centre. Hotel does not have a pool so easy walk to Spring Hill baths. Dining experience sensational. Chose a set meal which also included 3 Martinis. Commendations to the Chef. Would definitely return for a meal. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Would have given the hotel a top score but some issues with decor in room which was not fixed up during my stay and made the room unfortunately look a little shabby; and significant delays with replenishments from housekeeping . Not a deal breaker, but some Breakfast option would have been useful.

Service was top notch- Brodi the manager is exceptionally personable and went above and beyond to help us out with little grumpy bull dog who needed some company. Never had such good customer service anywhere else!! Not to mention the perfect cocktails to wind down at the end of the day by the little balcony. The little care package for the pet was also very heartwarming. Lovely cosy place pet friendly boutique hotel in the inner city!

Bathroom is abit dated. Housekeeping missed some details when cleaning up the bathroom.

Very comfortable, beautifully renovated hotel, making the most of a small footprint with style. Clean, comfortable beds and great, friendly service. I arrived early and they were able to have me into a room before 12noon, which was much appreciated. Coffee maker in the room was a plus. Comfortable to do a couple of hours work with the desk space provided.

Not much to report, maybe just including proper mugs for tea, not the micro cups or small teacups. Pretty minor stuff.

The room had everything that we needed and they were lovely! I enjoyed the layout and it was a well appointed room. The staff were friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent.

I was disappointed that there was not a bath in the room, which I was looking forward to. Furthermore, when we had come back from dinner, we wanted to have a "night cap" in the restaurant - we had very little alcohol to drink during the evening and were certainly not drunk or even close to being drunk, however the waiter said he was not comfortable serving us alcohol which I found quite insulting. We were in a "jovial" mood because our team had won the rugby, this had nothing to do with how much we had consumed that evening as it was still early in the evening. Despite this I was happy to have coffee instead as it was not a priority for us to have alcohol which is why I never said anything at the time, but I did want you to know that I found this quite insulting.

I have stayed here before, it’s next level. A totally unique experience…another world, luxurious and surreal! Glorious, historic building. Magnificent gingerbread man and cookies too!

I liked that the reception staffer told me on check-in that they were under new ownership and that the new owners were about to replace anything that had become a bit “worn”. This wasn’t really reflected in the price though which, being over Christmas was top $. My loft room was amazing, so easy to overlook any minor imperfections.

The staff were incredible - so friendly, helpful, prefessional and considerate. The room was large and well styled, with very comfortable bed and a gorgeous bath which we enjoyed. Although the dinner service was not offered on Monday nights, the very cosy bar and dining area was popular and had charm.

A little noisy from the train line - central station is across the road so we could hear some of those urban sounds until late at night and then quite early. Bring ear plugs!
