My son and I had the pleasure of staying at Mecure Townsville, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we checked in. The rooms were well equipped and clean, the beds were very comfortable, providing a quiet space to unwind after a day of socialising and exploring. The location was convenient, being only 9 minutes from the airport, and close to local attractions. My teenage most enjoyed lounging in the pool with our friends, and we took full advantage of the buffet breakfast and barista made coffee. We will be returning on our next trip up to QLD.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. The staff were very nice and very welcoming. On the second day the cleaning service lady came and asked us if we wanted our room serviced which was really nice to have our bed made for a two day stay. Stayed for two nights even though we got relocated because of the people that were next door to us were disruptive but we got relocated to an up graded room. The food was exceptionally good.

Nothing everything was perfect.

The bed was very comfortable and felt clean. Breakfast was good and a nice early starting time. I did not use the pool, but it looked like it would be a hit for the kids. All the staff were very nice and helpful.

Bathroom - quite a few mould spots in bathroom and I found a vape in the bathroom bin. Room - our room was located the farthest away from the facilities. It was close to the road and a bit noisy at night. It was very dark and not well lit to walk back to my room at night. I would not like to walk back to my room alone at night. I did feel safe inside the room with the extra manual lock on the door and the security screens.

We stayed 2 nights at great location and very comfortable the location is great to get around and the room was very clean the restaurant on site had a great selection of food at a very reasonable price one thing I would say is don't snack before you eat as the portions are huge. Breakfast was great with a massive selection of fresh or cooked food. We stayed new years eve and the town was a bussle of people in great spirits a mazing place. Although we did not use the pool the kids and parents loved it and said it was very warm to be in. Tha k you for a great stay

Our queen bed was so comfortable, the view was great and the lawn was so green and gardens were neat and tidy. It was refreshing to see so many First Nations staff working in all areas of the hotel, and all staff were very professional. Being Indigenous myself this made us feel welcomed. The hotel itself was alive and buzzing, being school holidays there were plenty of families and children using the pools. We will be back!🤩🌞🪷

Everything was really good, except for the breakfast staff member

It just takes one disgruntled staff member to spoil what was supposed to be a fantastic breakfast with my son I had not seen in 4 years. The Canadian staff member treated us awful. We couldn't enjoy the breakfast we had paid $28 each for, we got up and left early because of the way we were treated. Absolute damper to what was a wonderful stay.

We stayed in the cabins, they were extremely clean spacious and highly recommended. The pool is clean, alittle old but nice. We did have breakfast one morning, which was extremely basic and not recommended. You need to have a car as it is a long way from the main centre for coffee shops, cafes and beach.

Breakfast wasn't very nice, very basic and low quality. Not sure what we paid as a family, but it should be free.

Grounds and pool very clean and enjoyable. Food and emenities were well catered and we used them with outside guests. Rooms will need upgrading at some point but they were comfortable and when needed, management staff gave prompt service

The distance from the carpatk to the rooms on arrival. Was a long way to carry a car load of bags etc. Could only use the luggage cart so far and many trips to the room, but all in all, great exercise

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, the gardens and the tropical oasis just gives this hotel the NQ relaxed holiday vibes. This hotel is perfect for solo travellers passing through and family stays! I will book this hotel next time I’m in Townsville for sure! Clean room and very comfortable
