I really appreciate the reception staff meeting me in the driveway with my key so I could drive straight into the secure carpark as I had some difficulty finding the entrance. I stayed in a one bed unit in the 5th floor unit, it was quiet and had all you needed and would happily recommend this as a place to stay. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus with clothes detergent supplied. There is a couple of restaurants across the road and Woolies 850m away if you wish to buy supplies to self cater like I did.

There was no microwave, however it did have a wall oven. A couple of dishes/plates had not been cleaned properly and also the bottom of the freezer had food crumbs still there. These were brought to the attention of reception upon checkout and I am confident it is something that doesn't happen often due to the rest of the apartment being clean.

Apartment was a good layout- spacious for 2 people

Coffee cups still had coffee liquid remains in it, We know it is a part of the rules of stay to clean your own dishes but we would expect that the cleaners would inspect these things before next guests arrive . The apartment has damage to gyprock etc, bit if an eyesore but other than that it was a good stay,

The apartment was spacious, had all the amenities, secure car parking, 5 minutes drive from the city, local dining & bar facilities within a 5 minute walk as well as a cinema. Re below, when we did approach reception on these matters they were addressed that day and were very friendly.

Its the small things - the coffee/tea/sugar containers were empty on arrival and weren't replenished until we asked (we arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the reception wasn't staffed until Monday. The TV was very small, not that we were in the room that much but it didn't suit the apartment size. Parking was not dedicated it was first in, having said that there was always enough space whilst we were there. Had to ask for a towel change we were there for 9 days

the check in process is easy. The 2 bedroom apartment is great, has a washing machine and a full fridge and kitchen, which is handy for our large family attending sporting events and needing easy ways to feed the tribe. We love the secure parking and under cover garage. Walking distance to the football stadium, and its a fun walk there too with all the locals making their way to the game. Scooters are available for quick trips into the city centre. Eateries are a short walk across the car park. A cute coffee shop across the road which made really nice coffee for the early morning start.

The beds are starting to become springy and uncomfortable. We have stayed here a lot and I noticed the beds are failing this time around. Need new mattresses! The pool area is very poorly maintained and honestly is a waste of space. not good for families or larger groups (the pool) The hallways and stairs need a good clean, we were met with a bad smell leaving our room everyday.

Location was excellent. Staff were accommodating. Parking was gated and safe.

Just minor stuff like the lamp in the lounge area has hair build up in the base. Not a biggie but the size of the tv was not the same as what was on the photo.

From the very beginning to the end Q resorts, specifically manager Rob went out of their way to support and accommodate us. Truly exceptional and next level in a time of crisis. Accommodation is great. Rooms are comfortable and service all needs. Location is excellent too.

The reception and customer service were incredibly accommodating, swiftly resolving any issues that arose. The one-room apartment was fantastic, and the location was extremely convenient.

The only downside was the subpar internet connection, which made simple tasks like searching on Google Maps a time-consuming process.

Q Resort was great. Only .9km from Cowboys League Club and walking distance to the stadium. I was travelling with a friend that uses a mobility scooter, very easy access for her scooter with the handicap park directly out front of reception.

It said free Foxtel, however, there was no Foxtel at all. No HDMI cable or remote.

The staff was very, very friendly and welcoming. The apartment itself was very clean and spacious. The view from the apartment was gorgeous, overlooking the river and could see the new cowboys stadium. Will definitely stay here again when I return to Townsville.

Nothing....... Only that I didn't stay long enough to enjoy the room.
