The location was excellent, across from beach and grass areas. Quiet area. High set large room with privacy / view of beach. Parking was close by. Large bathroom, reasonable sized TV, and kitchenette. Staff eager to assist. Fan and lights fixed quickly.

Fan and a set of lights were not working. I assume not reported and not audited on a routine. Room messy after electrician attended to fix fan. Perhaps the electrician should carry a drop sheet and a portable vacuum cleaner.

Everything is great at this accommodation. You get what you pay for. It is cheap, the rooms are spacious and comfy. Yes, a little old, but suitable for the price. The beds, room and chairs are clean and comfortable, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the parking is ample. I visit Townsville to see my sons and grandkids, and being located directly across from the Rock pool, and having a great BBQ area out the back is perfect for us. Always a relaxed stay here.

The property is very convenient. Has everything you need for a short stay. Kitchenette. Bbq. Pool. Laundry.

My only issue. Was the front door was difficult for the children to open so they always needed assistance. I think also when I asked my child to look for her socks friend under the bed. For her to find two kids bracelets, a $2 coin, a flash light and a lost black sock. Makes me questions the cleaners doing their jobs completely. I fully understand also the parking situation. But it would be nice also if they had lines for parking bays. As I know there are bigger 4wd but there is left unallocated places where another car could get in if cars parks properly.

The location right at the start of the Strand and our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. The bed was extremely comfortable! We also booked dinner at their restaurant the Shore House and it was just perfect sitting overlooking the beach.

The casement windows didn’t actually secure when pulled all the way closed. The vertical blinds were broken so you could see in at night time, the coffee table surface was peeling and the lounge was dirty. A good, comfortable room to rest your head for the night but I would have expected a little more for the price.

The staff were most helpful, nothing was a problem, they assisted us with the room, and anything we required. A great location, straight across from the Rock Pool and Life Guarded beach swimming area on the Strand. A great BBQ area that my sons and all my grandchildren came to and enjoyed. Being the family room, it had the basic essentials of a toaster, microwave, cutlery, and plates. There is also a coin operated laundry available.

Housekeeping were a bit hit and miss, although considering the place was booked out, they were very busy.

Loved being on the ground floor. It had a nice small sized kitchenette the bathroom was on the larger size for a small motel and the shower was a double size too. Amazing view of the ocean and able to walk straight out into the little pool. Quiet end of the strand with a restaurant and bar from 5pm at the front there. It's next door to another cafe that serves breakfast and lunch only. And across the road and next to the family favourite swimming lagoon the yummy fish n chip place. I had a very comfortable stay.

The rooms are a good size. Love the couch in our room. Was so good to have some where comfortable to sit.

Didn't see any staff. We arrived after 5pm key was in the safe. There for 6 nights and Didn't see anyone. I really hate that you can't park outside of your room. No lines on the ground for so people know where to park. Some room had 3 cars so it was hard to find a space for our car. This really turns me off staying there again.

Have been staying here for years. The location is excellent. We like being back off the street, and the room rates are fair and reasonable for singles and families alike.

The room was very full of furniture. There was a couch, but it was jammed in the corner with a bed up against it, so it couldn't be used. There are renovations happening, so we very much look forward to seeing all the rooms updated.

Clean, spacious and in a very good location. Excellent bathroom and basin was ideal for washing used cups etc. Ocean and cafes just a stones throw away.

The only bench that could be sat at to eat a meal was inconveniently high when seated but I made do. The light over the microwave didn't work which made checking selections a little difficult. All pillows seemed to be of a soft nature. A thicker, firmer pillow would have been more ideal. I did however really enjoy the stay.

Close to a great restaurant. Across the road from waterfront park and swimming. Comfortable bed. Big room. We've stayed twice now, and I've rebooked for April. The lady from the restaurant, who checked us in, was just lovely and very helpful.

Shower recess old and had black marks in grout, which could have been mould, but could just have been age. For the price, old is good, but mould is not. The bed was comfortable, but being on wheels with no headboard attached, it kept moving away from the wall when we wanted to sit up.
