Great location. Close to all attractions and restaurants. We had beautiful view of Constitution Dock.
Being city based it can get a bit of noisy traffic in the mornings. On our last night the room next door decided to hold a party that went till all hours. Staff took action after we complained but thought security would have been a bit more vigilant.

I first stayed at this hotel 30 years ago and have been back several times. The location is obviously amazing. It is worth paying extra to haev the sea view in my opinion. The breakfast is satisfactory and has a reasonable selection. We used the pool and enjoyed dinner downstairs at the bar. I also thought the valet parking was reasonably priced.
Obviously the last person who stayed in our room had an early start but the alarm was still set for 2.12am! I hadn't noticed before but it is easy to hear people in the other rooms and walking in the hallway. I also was surprised that the pool wasn't heated. All our food was served at the same time. When I asked about that, i was told they were too busy to bring it out separately but i could have ordered the entree then later ordered the main....

We didn't get a room with a view of the harbour but we still enjoyed the view of Hobart and the mountains. The location was very good and the rooms, quiet spacious and neat. The staff was always very attentive. Also, we made full use of the indoor pool.
The decor is fairly minimalist and business like. For the location, I had been expecting something a little more opulent, fun, or exotic. Still, we enjoyed our stay. Additionally, I was surprised we weren't able to get a lobster cracker or pick from room service. To the hotel: please have these tools available, at least, from the restaurant! It's Hobart afterall.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Beds were perfect for us. Bathrooms lovely. Location was handy. Overall our stay was fabulous.
This is just general feedback. It would be nice to add some childrens bikes to your bike options. Also, we have fussy eaters. There should be an option (i.e. 5 dollars) for a more basic kids breakfast. We weren't happy to be charged a $5 dollar fee for room service - normally the hotels we stay at include room service as a service. i.e. No fee charged. TV options should be free. We spent enough on our holiday as a family of 5. Didn't want to have to pay to watch a kids movie when we already pay for the rooms.

I really liked the room. Very comfortable with a small lounge plus a table and office-type chair and convenient power points and recharging stations that made working very easy. The view from the city-side room wasn't great, but being right opposite Constitution Dock was very nice. Later, check-out and luggage minding once checked out would be much appreciated. It was a good venue for a conference too.
Breakfast service was poor and possibly under-staffed. Most was self-serve and the range of foods was good, but I had to go in search of a staff member to be offered a pot of tea.

Lovely efficient staff. Very helpful housekeeping staff. Recently renovated hotel so everything looked shiny and new. We had a harbour view room that was well fitted out and had heaps of space. Great location near the wharf and restaurants. Taxi rank and skybus stop directly outside.
The room was very functional but lacked the 'it' factor I expected of a hotel of this quality. It was very bland with barely any colour, artwork or decor and didn't feel 'lush' or special. We were high up, but there was still a lot of traffic noise from the main road below. It quietened later at night, so the noise did not affect sleep. Windows are not double glazed

Our room was large and spacious with an amazing view over Constitution Dock. We were able to watch the boats coming and going all day. At night the lights around the area were beautiful. Recommend getting the river view room. Our included daily breakfast was lovely, a good selection on the buffet. We also had the Afternoon tea in the Atrium with friends, which was just superb, a very attractive selection of sandwiches, cakes & scones with jam and cream. A fantastic location with amazing staff. The hotel location was very close to everything, just a few minutes' walk to shops and Salamanca Place. Try the fish and chips across the road.
The only thing that was disappointing was the false fire alarm at 2am. We were on the top floor and had to walk down 10 flights of stairs. We are in our later years and this was exhausting. It turned out to be a false alarm, probably someone smoking/vaping in their room without any consideration to the hundreds of other guests. It left us shattered and fatigued the next day for our long journey home.

I liked the Atrium bar/restaurant. We made a few family catch-ups there so didn’t have to travel far. The beds were really comfortable. The room was spacious and had everything we wanted. It was nice to look out of our room and see a good view of Hobart. I loved how it was so close to everything the hotel was so nothing was off limits to us. Our flight was leaving later in the day so was really happy to be able to have a late checkout then wait in the Atrium for a coffee before we had to leave.
Was a bit disappointed to find out we couldn’t order breakfast on the morning. We had planned a ‘breaky’ in the room to start the holiday off but when realising at 10am there isn’t that option we had to scramble to Salamanca to find a place. Also arriving back from swimming around 9pm to find the room service dinner service had closed and as someone who is gluten free the options on the classic menu was very limited.

I absolutely loved the way the staff treated us! Travelling with kids can be so hard but the staff were so lovely to the kids. They went above and beyond helping with luggage, managing the lifts etc. They gave us presents for the kids christmas day which was a lovely touch! Location was amazing. Great proximity to everything you could need without having to drive anywhere. The food options within and around the hotel made it such a fantastic spot to easily feed everyone. Beds were so comfy! The pool was a little chilly for a heated pool but still a great touch. We would definitely stay here again.
