Very comfortable and quiet even in buzzing Richmond. The river is very close and offers great walks in a calming green setting. The rooms are great, and the outside balconies are great for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. On the first night we met at the large bar area and had drinks and bar snacks-thought they were hardly snacks as we enjoyed well priced and delicious grazing plates. Very convenient for a variety of dietary tastes.

The stairs to access the upstairs bedrooms in some of our bookings (we had 5 bookings for a family wedding) are perilous and hard for older people to manage with suitcases.

Great customer service provided by everyone, food & bar service, reception & housekeeping staff. Wonderful choice & type of good food & drinks available all day @ reasonable prices. Loved the dinner special nights, enjoyed the pasta & delicious steak & chips. Very comfortable seating in great layout with privacy within the reception area. Outdoor areas & surrounding garden environment including the river walk were very attractive for simply relaxing, exercising or leisure walks. Good location to nearby Victoria Gardens shopping centre.

Air conditioning was too cold in the guest room so I adjusted it down or switched it off completely & left the balcony door open for fresh air. Only problem noise from the function rooms below or other rooms were bit loud so had to increase the TV volume which I prefer not to do in consideration of other guests.

Loved the ambiance, location was perfect, amenities were great.

The shower screen wasn’t big enough- water splashed on the toilet paper and over the floor. The toilet roll holder was in an awkward location and the holder kept falling off the wall. The sliding door to outside is a Serious trip hazard, you go to step straight out - I tripped over it. Very dangerous. It should be flush with the floor. Though the ambiance was great the lighting did make it difficult to see people and area properly.

Was great location and cozy, nice balcony. The room was clean and made up when we were gone. The restaurant was lovely with great food and staff

The bond fee that we weren’t told about prior to checking in. $100 per night bond is a bit rich and a bit of a surprise when we were told at the desk no pre warning. Not happy about that. The bath/shower is very high to get into and could potentially be dangerous as it’s slippery. We weren’t given any extra toilet paper rolls even when the room was made up when we were gone. It could use Atleast a microwave Bed was a bit firm

Me and my family recently stayed at Amora Riverwalk Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, well-maintained, and the bed was surprisingly comfy — perfect for a restful night with my family. Location is nearby the event we went through. It’s definitely great value for money considering the quality of the room, service and food. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay!

If I had to mention anything, parking have to be free for a stay in guest, and the hallways felt a little dated.

From the moment you walk into the room, you could see and feel how wonderful our stay here would be! From the king sized bed, great sofa (with “footstool”), side table, good sized TV and bar fridge all set out in a very spacious room with plenty of storage space and the best bathroom - complete with a walk-in shower. The crockery supplied was clean and of a size you would expect; there was tea and coffee supplied but also hot chocolate sachets and several types of tea, perfect for those of us who don’t drink regular tea or coffee. The toiletries were lovely and the towels luxurious, so big, soft and fluffy. Shower pressure was perfect, as was the temperature. Bed was super comfortable; plenty of lighting and room to spread out. Individual air con too. And, there was a beautiful little balcony with a table and two sturdy chairs to sit and eat our meals. Ice was available for our cold drinks, a laundry if needed and a small gym.

The only improvements I would make would to be putting a handrail in the shower as the tiles are quite slippery, especially for those of us with mobility issues, so the risk of a fall is quite significant. We also found the toilet to be a little too close to the wall, particularly if you are a “larger than life” person, as the toilet roll holder is also on that wall so we had to take the roll off whilst using the toilet to avoid it falling on the floor - there is plenty of room in the bathroom to move it across to make it more “usable” and comfortable for all guests.

Liked my room, the bed, tv, temperature controls, friendly and helpful staff. Love that I just saw a pet option about who you're travelling with - that gives me another reason to come and stay.

Didn't like that cash is not accepted, even in the restaurant/bar areas. Didn't like that there was a cover missing from the light fitting above the bed, the light was too bright without the cover and hurt my eyes. Didn't like that there wasn't much information in my room about room service, definitely would've used it if I could have figured it out. Additional cost for parking - in hindsight especially as I was attending an event held there, the event itself would have brought in people using accommodation that wouldn't have been there otherwise, same with the restaurant and possibly people using the parking that weren't staying there - it seems rough to be charged for parking on top of accommodation.

Staff were exceptional, and the location was perfect. Very clean, and the meal at the restaurant was superb!

THE BED! It was horrendous, 2 people could not sleep on it as it was so soft you sunk into the middle. There was no support in the mattress AT ALL! It was the worst bed I have ever laid on. I slept with my daughter on the pull out couch as it was more comfortable than the bed!

This hotel is in a great location, small walk and your smack bang in the middle of all the action that Richmond has to offer. Spa rooms with large balcony made this stay extra relaxing, beds were super comfy. The hotel backs in the the river and nice walking trails to keep you busy.

Connecting room allocation meant less privacy and hearing the noise in the room beside. The hotel doesn’t have a pool but did provide complementary internet which was a lovely touch.

The location was great. Next to the river walk which is beautiful and peaceful. Conveniently located next to tram stops and walking distance to restaurants.

The only thing I didn't like was the shower which is placed on the ceiling, (very high) and therefore the pressure was fairly poor and you had to be very careful with the mixing, going either very hot or very cold.
