Room was small but clean. Bed was super comfortable. Friendly staff, the location was great and the street was quiet.

There was not enough parking and after going out had to find a park on the street upon our return when parking was included in the booking.

Cleaner was the only person on the property and she was very friendly and helpful.

Front of staff at reception needs to know what is going on in the area. As there was a festival happening in St Kilda and we had to book into Barkly St before going to Park Street, I asked about road closures etc and he said it wouldn't be a problem for us. It took us an hour to travel from Barkly Street to Park Street because of road closures and traffic but the staff should have known what was going on in the the area and advised us.

The room is comfortable, there is space to open the suitcases, it is equipped with a small fridge, iron and ironing board, there is also a hairdryer and a heated towel rack.

The fact that you have to check-in at a different location is annoying, at least we were driving but if that wasn’t the case, it would have been very inconvenient to have to move around with the luggage, specially at night. Also don’t expect much of the light breakfast, it is just a slice of white bread with jam, and artificial juice.

I like the quiet and secure location

Poor internet connection and at time the heating doesn’t work properly. The door gaps are too big and poor energy savings installation. Hence cold air enters the room and the internal reverse cycle system has to work very hard to adequately heat the room for a conducive stay. Simply supply of door draft control snakes can provide the visitor the option to use where appropriate than placing a pillow. Ground floor glass windows need to be tint to provide more privacy due to flimsy light blinds moves with wind allowing outsiders a peep into the rooms.

The room was cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Location is great with the beach promenade around the corner, and tram and bus stop virtually in front of the property. It also comes with secure car parking and the airconditioning worked vey well.

Better snack options. The sandwich in the fridge looked a bit sad, and a few more coffee pods would be helpful, but overall it was fine.

Great location, free parking on street, good kitchen facilities and breaky cereal provided.

Had to walk 1km to pick up key, then they tried to get us to stay in that hotel , which didn’t look as good, annoying about the distance to collect key, if travelling with luggage or on foot, wouldn’t be good

We love the location, easy to get to and from Melbourne city for shopping and only a short walk to the main strip for dinner..

Somehow our booking was messed up, we firstly ended up in a studio room instead of the 1 bedroom apartment we booked, the Barkley blamed Booking.com, but I think it was the Barkley..

Location Love the place it's very accessible and close to everything. The kitchen facilities everything that we need although restaurants are all walking distance. Fitroy St is 5 mins walk. Acland is 20 mins walk Walking distance to Luna Park, Woollies, tram stop and bus stop outside your doorstep.

They were not thorough enough when we have added add'l night to extend our stay weeks prior. Had to go back to reception (Crest at Barkly) to have new key cards to access the complex. No biggie, just inconvenient. The complex is very dark at night in our last 2 days of stay. The lights on the veranda and parking area did not work. I had informed the reception on the first evening and the staff the following day but nothing happened.

The crest on park is great value for money. The rooms are very comfortable and it’s great to have included breakfast goods in your room to make when you want.

The downside is no reception so you have to check in at another hotel 15 minutes walk away, so tricky if you don’t have a car and have bags.

It was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed! And it was a quiet and convenient location too!

The only things we can really complain about is that there was no car park available for us, and that check in was at the sister location, but only 5mins away so no big deal.
