1. Nice location in Saint Kilda. About 600 m to the sandy beach. Many eateries in the area. Coles Woolworths supermarkets. Easy to get by an airport express from/to Melbourne International Airport either with a change at the Southern Cross railway terminal or directly. 2. I was staying in a superior room. It was spacy and clean with a comfortable bed. 3. The hotel staff was polite and attentive. Special thanks to George who helped me to activate an Australian Optus mobile phone card.

Quite early check-out at 11:00 a.m. Reception desk is not working 24/7 but when you arrive late the hotel personnel provides you with detailed instructions how to find the keys in a secret box and enter hotel and the room. It is not possible to provide a secure deposit in cash, only payment by card is acceptable and you have to wait for some days until the money has been credited back. Because of the tram line along the street from time to time you can hear trams passing by. But this issue does not refer to hotel itself.

Check in was easy .I only stayed one night as I had to stay overnight near the hospital for med appointments at The Alfred Hospital which is a tramway ride away from the hotel. Check in staff were wonderful and the room I had was spotless it had everything needed. It was quiet overnight.

The bed was hard but that is a preference thing and I found it hard to sleep but that was me not the hotel. I like a soft bed. Otherwise it was a perfect place to stay for me. If you are wanting to be in or around St Kilda it is near everything you would need. Cafes and shopping nearby along with Luna Park , the Beach as the Palais theatre which is hop, skip and a jump away.

Could NOT confirm "no stairs" room in advance. We appreciate the best-efforts idea, but this is not sufficent, due to mental and physical disability, so very risky to book here when a stair access room might be allocated but cannot be accessed - what happens then if other hotels are booked out. Not to mention the further difficulties of a refund, making the further booking, moving across to another hotel etc. We should be able to confirm a no stair room for a disabled person. Other hotels in the area have lifts to all rooms.

The spacious one bed apartment with the balcony is well fitted out and pleasant to stay in. The accommodation is good value for the cost and affordable on site parking. The location is excellent in the heart of St kilda.

Two things There are no power points in the bathroom and no where else in the apartment with a mirror for hair drying. or any other electronic items. tooth brush shaver etc. The shower over the bath does not have a grab rail for safe access which I thought was a health & Safety rquirement.

Hotel was good. I thought the contact with the hotel should have been done a few days before our arrival. They contacted us on the day of travel which most of the time in the air we had no Internet. They give us a dead line to pay a security deposit or they would cancel our booking. I made the payment late so had no idea if my booking was OK or not. They close at 9 we didn't arrive until after 10 we stood outside not knowing if we were going to get in or have to sleep outside. Eventually a girl came and checked us in. Contact could have been better and avoided this. Over all its in a perfect location.

Outstanding location, very short walk to the Palais Theatre and Luna park! Very clean throughout, beds were super comfy, split system in lounge area and main bedroom, secure parking, very quiet during the day and night despite its busy location, will definitely stay again!

Some food and drink options at the hotel lobby or room service would be a nice addition…. Even a few vending machines around would be nice but there is a 7/11 a stones throw away. The shower head was very low, but shower/bath combos are always a bit awkward. Parking seemed a bit steep $25 a day but I am from the country!

Great location with lots of attractions in walking distance. Secure onsite parking. Really clean and secure site with friendly staff. Good size rooms for a family.

The only issue was that we had trouble connecting to the WiFi from our room. When we asked about it at Reception they explained this is a problem in the Block we stayed in. Internet access is really important when traveling with children of all ages. But the WiFi in the public area was fantastic.

Perfect location, 5 min walk to beach, food venues, chemist and tram station ! Would definitely stay again. Be great if the rooms could include a microwave in them, although there is a communal room that is open from 10.30am - 5.30pm that has one for use.

The room didn’t have a microwave but there a communal room that had one for use. The communal room didn’t open until 10.30am so we were unable to really use it for breakfast

We stayed here for an event at the Palais and it was so easy to get to and from the venue with the hotel being only a block away. We loved being able to book our parking ahead and not have to worry about there being space when we arrive. Parking was also very secure behind a fenced and locked area. Rooms were clean and neat. The room we had looked like it had been renovated in the past couple of years and basically new carpet. Fantastic location at a great price. We would highly recommend to anyone attending events at the Palais or surrounding areas.

The room we had was street facing which did mean some road noise at night. Pillows were a little lacklustre which didn't bother us for a single night but if we were there for longer may have become an issue.

Within walking distance of restaurants, the beach and our daughter's flat. The rooms aren't 5 Star but had absolutely everything we needed, they were clean with good air con. The bed was big and soft enough. Also clean. Parking for us is a must. Despite being right on a tram line and the heart of St Kilda we were not bothered with any noise.

TV was a bit dodgy, not that we were desperate to watch anything.
