I stayed at Saint Kilda Beach Hotel recently, and overall it was fine—good in parts, but nothing standout. • The location is the real winner. It’s just a short walk to the beach, Luna Park, Acland Street’s cafes, and even the tram to the CBD. Really convenient if you want to explore. • The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi worked without any issues. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if you want to be close to the action in St Kilda. Not a luxury experience, but it does the job

The rooms are clean and modern enough, but they don’t have much character. Comfortable, but nothing that makes them stand out.

Great location for us. I was racing in the St Kilda Triathlon and I only had to walk about 5 mins to get to the event. Tram stop outside the door and plenty of food options nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed it.

There was nothing major we didn’t like. Tye age of the property meant the windows let in a bit more of the traffic noise from the main road than we would have liked. The main lift was possibly the slowest in Victoria (but they did have a funny sign about it in the lift), the water pressure wasn’t too good and we did start to run out of hot water after only two short showers.

The hotel was perfectly located for our trip, making it incredibly easy to get to the Fontaines D.C. gig at the Palace Foreshore and explore St Kilda on foot. The area is buzzing with things to do, from the beach to fantastic food and coffee spots. The room was ideal for a couple: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Check-in and check-out were seamless, which made the whole experience stress-free.

Honestly, nothing major. If I had to nitpick, St Kilda has changed a lot since I last spent time there in the '90s; it’s lost a bit of its old grit, which is both a positive and a negative depending on what you’re after.

Pleasantly surprised with above-expectation comfortable stay. Spacious well-arranged room, huge bathroom, super cushy comfy bed with high-quality bedding and linen. We were perched up high on level 4 with a pleasant outlook. Private parking super convenient. We're convinced it's the best location in St Kilda in the midst of cafés, restaurants and bars, a short stroll to the lovely beach and all it's got to offer (e.g., another lot of cafés, restaurants and bars; a heated sea water swimming pool and spa...), and right next to public transport to easily get you around town.

Nothing major to complain about. It's obviously an older building, likely partially refurbed and décor a little tired in other places. Funnily, we put up with, but our neighbours vocally complained about - the super slow lifts! we failed to locate any stairs to be able to get around faster, but generally thank goodness for the lifts, no matter how slow, cause who wants to be dragging suitcases around otherwise, obviously.

Great value for money... although it is not a new hotel the bed was really comfy & I really liked the soap, shampoo, conditioner & moisturiser all provided in handy pump dispensers, having it all there really helps to travel light. The location is excellent right in the heart of St Kilda, close to beach, Ackland Street restaurants, trams & within walking distance to the Palais, we went to gig to see St Vincent. We will be back to stay again.

Nothing really stood out as being a dislike, the overall interior will probably need a refurbishment in the near future to update the furnishings & carpets, but the current age of the interior didn't effect the enjoyment of our stay.

Small room but just the right size. I will just say I thought the layout of the bathroom could have been better designed, the shelf was on a slant and my toiletries fell, and the shower pressure was weak. But I did find the rest of the hotel stay great and would definitely come back again. Great location and parking made it a lot easier! Thanks for having us :)

The bathroom, the shelf was on a slope, the sink is right behind the door so I had to close it to stand there and ended up sweating with no air circulation in the room. The shelf was on a slant so my toiletries fell on the floor. Also the shower head seem dated and poor pressure. Also I found the wifi connection to be poor

I liked that all things is organized for a 4 days stay. It was easy to find and great access to everything I need. The staffs our nice and good too. They served perfect breakfast and coffee. In additional, I liked it because they are using my fave products to buy in Aussie the Urban Jungle and close to chemist warehouse.

I cant say I dont like the elevator as other says it was slow. It was slow, but I enjoyed my time waiting for my turn:)but guess what, lift 2 is a little bit faster:)

Location was great, parking was great and ease of mind knowing it was locked up and safe, man at reception was lovely and so helpful, explained things well. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Love the added touches of safety and security (elevator and doors needing a room key to access).

Nothing about the hotel itself. But room either above us or next to us made a lot of thumping noises while we were trying to sleep.

Bed was super comfy, and loved my quiet room at the back on the first floor facing a beautiful street and plane tree! The room was tidy and clean, and loved the shower in the bathroom! I'd be happy to return anytime as it was a reasonable and affordable place as well!

The loud music in the foyer (although it was brief). It could be turned down a bit. Also bumped into an interesting character in the lift and I felt that he wasn't really a hotel guest but doing the rounds selling merchandise? lol.

The room had sufficient facilities and quite comfortable. Location was great, as it was a 2 min walk from a tram stop that would take us directly to the CBD. It was walking distance to the St Kilda beach and had a good amount of restaurants nearby to try out.

Room was a little dusty and it felt like the carpet hadn't had a good clean in a while. The lift was a bit slow and worrisome sometimes (it would open doors while still moving, and wasn't fully level with the floor yet). It's close to some fun night life, but means it can get noisy at night.
