The manager Phebe and the room service person Jet were both very friendly. The place was spotless, clean and the kitchen was great with all the cooking facilities and cutlery and rice cooker, rice cooker, electric jug, fridge, all provided. The place had a hot water system, and the showers were all modern, clean, and great to use and the toilets were always clean and tidy, and the place was cleaned and mopped and always found to be clean. The new paint and the new tiles were all great and I had to move after a week due to other personal reasons but am moving back there after a week for an extended stay of a few months. The stove was an exceptionally large commercial cooker with many burners and an oven plus a microwave was also there on the side. The Irish lady Phebe I think was her name and Jet were both very polite, soft spoken and never aggressive and very kid. A heaven for people who do not do drugs, no alcohol and do not smoke. The price was 66% less than anywhere else in Melbourne for similar backpacker accommodation plus it was homely and comfortable and we all were like a family there and the free WIFI was great, and we used it 24/7 with no issues. The electronic entry number at the main door and into our rooms was good and no unauthorized people could come in and we could come in and out 24/7 with ease. The lighting was excellent, and the place looked fully renovated and very new.

Some visitors at times only, did not do their washing and left their dishes which some of us volunteered to clean. 90% of the visitors were good people and took responsibility. There was no yelling, abusive language and all the people were sober and professionals from France, Germany, UK, and of course some locals.

The hostel was clean. The room without windows, if they can vacuum every corner, so the air circulation will be better. Actually the hostel not really bad, if they could improve some little things. 1. Do vacuum every corner, (some annoying dust in untouched corner) 2. To not put the linen, before the guest check-in. 3. Provide a hanger inside bathroom, (i wonder how to hang my shower stuff inside bathroom. ) Eventho the hostel is small, but it was lowest price, so i consoder it was valuable. I gave 10score to help this hostel, because this hostel not really bad. Come and look by yourself 😊☺... Hopefuly they will improving the little thing and attracting more guest for stay.

1. Some guest was throwing rubbish not in the trash, it was not hostel fault, but it was a disrespectfull guest. Hopefully people can respect other guest and being more respectfull. 2. Hostel put the linen before guest checkin and this is risky about hygienes reason. Probably other guest will make it dirty and hostel will be blamed on it

I loved staying here it’s a homely environment Everyone is so welcoming and the staff are amazing This is the best hostel I’ve stayed in in Melbourne it’s a smaller space making it easier to get to know everyone and make friends The rooms are lovely they have aircon and the beds are really comfortable Everything is really clean and the people who stay here are respectful I will definitely stay here again

I was surprised by how quiet it was (as backpacker hostels when I was visiting America tended to be very noisy). The lockers were a useful safety feature which I hadn't expected - it meant I could leave stuff in my dorm room.

I had to wait until after 10:30 am for reception to open so I could check out and get back my locker key deposit. The medium-size saucepan in the kitchen had its handle almost falling off and needed a 10-seconds fix with a screwdriver (which I didn't have with me, or I would have fixed it!).

The best hostel in all of Melbourne when you want to find a cheap accommodation without loosing comfort. The staff is very friendly and is always open to your needs and for help. It is located very well in St Kilda you can walk to the beach in a few minutes and there are supermarkets in range as well.

The equipments seem to be pretty new, it’s generally clean except at the end of the evening the kitchen gets pretty messy. It’s small so cozy and the vibe is friendly. The receptionnist is so nice and helpful. The location is awesome, right by the beach!

There is not really a common area to hangout with other travellers. But it’s also an advantage because it doesn’t get loud.

Excellent customer service as always. During the first day of my stay, I found some faulty facilities such as loosen tap in kitchen. Two days after I return back I found that they really go and fixed it and everything is in good condition. Kitchen is simple and well organised. The cleanliness of the house including bedroom and toilet is really excellent and it is even far better than last week. They have make a great improvement just within a short period of time. This is really impressive.

Different room seen to have different standard. Some room are very cold while some room are lukewarm. From so many different room I have stayed, I would say room 5 is the best because the room temperature is the most lukewarm.

The staff is extremely friendly. The washroom are quite clean, and the bed are quite clean and comfortable. The bedroom cleanliness is moderately well. There is kitchen with stove, water heater and bread toaster. Overall, the price of the stay is still very worthy.

The washroom are quite small. It is hardly to find place to put clothes in bathroom. There is no washing machine. Kitchen tap is loosen but still can be use. There is one bathroom tap (in male toilet) cannot be used. There is a faulty light in my bedroom flashing all the night. Facilities are not perfectly good but still more than good enough. With the budget price, the stay is still very worthy.

This is by far the best hostel I’ve been to, It’s quiet and calm the people and manager are so friendly and welcoming we had dinners together and watched movies it feels more like a house the dorms are so big and the beds are comfy I will definitely be back again

The place is clean and well lit, the location close to all food, transportation, beach and bars. The attention of the staff is good, Jose is very friendly and helps you in everything with the questions you have
