Everything!!!! This hotel was just spot on. When we arrived the staff at the front desk was just lovely and so friendly. We got into our room and the room was so warm as it was very cold outside. The room was clean and styled well. The bathroom facilities were awesome. The shower would be one of the best I have ever come across in all my years of traveling the world. The mini bar was stocked and not expensive at all. The food in the hotel was delicious and the staff just amazing. We had dinner and breakfast. Yum. Will I stay at this hotel again, absolutely!!!!!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and amazing food.

As it was to mark a special occasion we stayed two nights - the location was perfect. This time we had a view which was nice.

The room though comfortable was looking tired. We couldn't have people to the room - we had encouraged several friends to stay with us at the hotel - because sitting in the lounge area had a direct view to the toilet. I have stayed in a double room before and it too though comfortable (albeit a tad noisey) was looking worn. I like the Prince, it's location and the vibe but having stayed there and been involved in events there after the opening I think the rooms could do with a refresh - at least a cupboard door that closes.

Great location as we were visiting friends close by. The lobby was very welcoming smelt gorgeous and the flowers, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was big, with a big walk in shower. The beds were so comfy and bedding was good. Toiletries were spa quality. E had everything in the room we needed including a good mini bar but we didn't use it. We were room only but had breakfast one morning downstairs which was really nice too. I would say 5 star hotel rather than 4 and great price.

Everything was brill. Only one slight moan is around 6am every morning there seemed to be a noise from the water tank or something but was perfect otherwise and sure it can't be helped.

It was the perfect location for our trip (triathlon). The foyer is quite beautiful. The staff were excellent. Bonus - the tram stops right out the front which was great if you don't have a car. And, if you do have a car, there is a public car park available at reduced rates for hotel guests.

Our room was small, a bit tired, and the shower leaked. Despite this, I believe we got good value for money, and the most important part of the room, the bed, was ever so comfortable.

the Prince is right in the heart of St Kilda. It is a lovely art deco building and I very much enjoyed staring at the moulded ceiling in the bar. The events and public areas have been really nicely restored and are elegant and inviting , the garden area is central and the greenery can be seen elsewhere in the building Wine and food were great , staff lovely and it felt a bit like going down to the local pub. Sitting outside the pub in the sun on colder days was bonus.

The rooms have been nicely renovated and are pleasant and clean. Staff who came to clean were pleasant and di a good job. Bed and bedding very comfortable but our room had limited outside views which made it a bit claustrophobic. Best use has been used of small space. Some of the furniture in bedrooms and reception area were a little old or stained.

Very comfortable character property. Fabulous location and restaurant. Lovely bathroom products and comfy bed. Overall a great room too except for the shower (see below). The Staff are wonderful.

The shower: the worst for the regulation of hot water (scalding hot if freezing) and the tiny shower head has the hardest jets and very limited coverage. Quite unpleasant.

The location is perfect, close to tram stop, a short walk to the beach, shops and the event I was attending at the Palais Theatre. The room was meticulously clean, the bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed for my short stay. The lovely young lady on the front reception desk was just delightful and helpful. Another big bonus was staff at The Prince were very easy to contact. I will most definitely stay here again if I come to Melb/St. Kilda for another concert at The Palais Theatre.

All good nothing to dislike.

Room was perfect! Great room, toiletries (body wash, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner), robe, music, coffee, tea.. everything! Breakfast was worth it.. you can choose a main and a drink from the menu and it was delicious! We paid on booking au$32 extra for brekky and if we had paid there it would cost around au$60! 10/10 @gabiinmalaysia

All the personnel, reception, pub, cleaning were very friendly and helpful. Food was nice. Rooms were clean and comfy.

First evening upon checking in I was told I could get food until 9 pm. Went immediately to the pub and was told at 8.40 pm that kitchen was closed, disappointing.

A beautiful stay with all the small touches. Went to the restaurant and an incredible meal along with a coffee that made a great start to my day. Location was perfect and the staff were extremely helpful. Will stay again!

The only thing that I didn't like was that it was quite difficult to move my bags from the car to my room, as there were several steps. I did have a lot of luggage due to work, which in normal circumstances wouldn't be a problem.
