Rooms were clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Updated modern amenities.

The car park wasn't included in the price and the access to the car park is a pain. We have a 4wd and could barely fit in the park as there are columns everywhere and very close together. The air conditioner in the room was playing up and couldn't use the remote to turn on/off. The bathroom has no fan and when showering everything becomes soggy from evaporation including toilet paper. The shower screen should be longer as it sprays water onto the floor when showering. Toilet doesn't flush very well and takes 2-3 flushes to get rid of paper.

I needed to book a room for six nights at short notice, while the Australian Open was on and The Crest appeared to be the best value for money to meet my needs. I was very pleased with the accommodation/facilities/comfort/and assistance from staff. Hotel is very close to buses/trams/eating places. The bed was great! The outside cafe, downstairs but part of The Crest was great - consistently best poached eggs I've ever had (so good I had then for five days!!). Some elements of The Crest are a bit dated, being an older hotel, however, that is easily overlooked given the reasonable pricing. I would stay again.

Has everything you could need and very well priced which makes it even better for value. Staff are extremely accommodating and I’ve stayed a few times now and they have made sure I’ve had a great stay.

The gate access to the back paid car parking is a pain if staff are busy, don’t get me wrong they are doing the best they can with attending to guests needs and also juggling the gate access, I feel as though the management should invest in an automated gate or even a sliding roller gate just to make it easier, when travelling alone and windy or rainy it’s not ideal. Only fault I can pick apart.

Everything was great. All staff were excellent from Reception to Cleaners and the Maintenance staff. Before booking this hotel I read the reviews and a lot of them were negative to say the least, but those customers must have been at another establishment as I honestly could not fault this hotel. The hotel also has a café which served great coffee and snacks. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms were spot on. And staff service was excellent. Restaurant menu had a great selection. Beverages a generous selection. Restaurant area is comfortable, and a great public area to relax also. Breakfast has a good variety and convenience for anyone heading out first thing in the morning.

was upgraded to a family room so lots of space. so plenty of bathroom items,, good shower pressure and very quiet room at back. finally a great block out curtain as well. had late check in which went smooth. wifi worked well. comfortable beds.

if anything ,think 10am check out a bit early although was given a 11am check out which was good.

Extra attention to details, ie. No cereal bowls. Water for tea cold. Would like fresh ingredients ie, peaches discoloured. Prefer cream cheese or cottage cheese instead of brie and blue vein - more for a cheese platter.

Lack of care for breakfast prep. Should promote breakfast and have a single bain-marie of bacon sausage and scrambled eggs.

Lovely staff and a nice little coffee shop/bottle shop underneath. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

Rooms are a bit tired and need an update. Very difficult to close the window and as there was no screen, little flies came in. Tiny bathroom. Scratch on the tv screen. Very narrow corridors and not the best signage. Could use some attention to detail in cleaning, light switches were dirty and lots of dust and dirt behind bedside tables and window sills. Rest of the room was clean.

great placement, staff were a 100 out of 10 not 10 out of 10 its 100 out of 10. nothing was a problem and went far and beyond with anything you needed. now this place has had the best steak i have ever had and i get around a bit for work and if there is a steak to be had im trying it

A nice room in a good area close to plenty of cafés.

Found two loose airpods, one was in one of the beds, the other was under a bed, so questions about how well the room was cleaned before our arrival.
