Kettle stopped working and was replaced immediately after I mentioned it. Bathroom compact but very clean. Easy walk to supermarket, restaurants and public transport (train, tram bus). Food in the pub restaurant very good and popular with locals. Really appreciated access to the laundry.

Quite spacious for what it was (had the deluxe king room). Served its purpose pretty well, meets most the basic needs and was a clean place to sleep. Enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks. Shower had good water pressure and heat. Always appreciate free parking. Friendly staff as well.

Thin walls and can hear every single person walking up the hall, this is mainly in the morning though considering check out is at 10am. Really not much of a problem if you’re staying one night but for a longer stay or light sleepers this may be a little annoying. No toothbrush kit provided (if that matters). BE CAREFUL of the end of the bed frame, it is there and it does hurt to walk into, trust me…

The location was excellent, only a couple of minutes walk from Middle Footscray Station and close to a good selection of cafes, restaurants and the Footscray Markets. We enjoyed walking along the river through the parkland. The room and bathroom was a comfortable size and we could use a communal microwave. We were pleasantly surprised there was no noise from the hotel downstairs.

The lighting in the room was adequate but could have brighter for reading.

Everything about this hotel surprised us. Outside looked like an old city pub, however inside was a beautifully renovated bar and dining area. The room upstairs was larger than we expected, spotless and very comfortable. We stayed on a Friday night and could not hear any noise from downstairs or from the street. Our dinner was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Carpark has 24hr surveillance.

There was nothing we didn't like. This place is one of the best places we've stayed at, during our travels.

I thought my stay would be loud as the hotel is close to a main road. This was not the case and I slept very well in the comfortable room I had. Nor did I hear any noise from the hotel downstairs itself. Parking was great and the hotel is close to a train station, so it is easy to get into town.

Nothing to say, I was satisfied with my stay.

Have stayed here a few times and find the accommodation decent and good value for when we need to stay in the area. Good location for Footscray and easy transport links to get into the CBD.

Soap and shampoo in the shower were both shades of green with no labels, so no idea which was which! Probably didn't matter anyway!

Great location. Banh mi 2min drive away. We had business at Melbourne Showgrounds and it isn't too far away. Close to other amenities also. Parking is easy to access.

You can tell the hotel is a little dated. I think they don't wash the shower often enough, It was so slimey, I slipped and my toes hit the ledge inside of the shower real hard. It was definitely a big hazard. Had to warn my mother.

Staff were very helpful. Room contained all a traveller needs. There is a good restaurant. However book early on a weekend as it is very popular.

Nothing really. It is on a busy street but the noise of ambulances (hospital nearby) etc did not disturb me. The close shopping street is a bit run down although this is offset by the nearby Footscray market which I thought was very good. Ps if taking a taxi to the hotel from the airport note that most taxi drivers are unfamiliar with the location of this hotel.

The room was larger than on my previous stay. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Access to a microwave sink, clothes washer and dryer. Thank you.

The Smart TV reception was not consistent. WiFi internet was slow. I gave up and listened to the radio which was fine. It is a shame that other guests did not clean out the microwave which is provided for our use. I cleaned it as best I could.

Room and beds were comfortable and very well presented. Good to have parking available (although busy when I first arrived it emptied later in the afternoon.

The shower did take about 10 minutes to get the hot water through, then was fine, the hotel is well aware of this problem and hopefully it gets sorted. We were there on Sunday afternoon and night. You could hear the music from downstairs in the afternoon . Once the bar closed it was quiet. Some traffic noise but very low grade and not a problem.
