Beautiful hotel

It was a bit of a walk to see most of the sites in Melbourne

Everything was awesome cleaning, service and infinity pool with Jacuzzi was more than great. We spent our anniversary there for 2 days and when reception knew it is our anniversary they gave us a bottle of wine as a gift 🎁 which was really very nice and kind of them. In addition, during checking in you get a glass of champagne as a complimentary which doesn't happen in any of hotels no matter how much you paid 😂. Breakfast was very good with many varieties of food and fruits. Really, thanks for having us for sure gonna go again and again.

Good selection of food options, cereals, hot food, pastries, omelets, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt. It is close to a Costco, so you can get cheap lunches there, if you're a member. Shaun at the Front Desk and Reza (Manager) were excellent. Shaun knows his way around the area. Reza (sorry, couldn't find your card with your name) was terrific.

price for the breakfast. The room has issues with heat. I had to have a little heater brought up. There were only two small drawers for your clothes.

Great front desk customer service. A thoughtful touch in the gift bag my son got for his birthday. Great showers. Clean room. Good buffet breakfast. And great views from the outdoor rooftop pool. Prob can be heated a bit more in this cold weather.

The beds!! It was so hard and not enough blankets on the bed. Also did not have a mini bar. Pool should be heated more as now weather is cold. Furthermore, we found the docklands area to be very boring. There was no nightlife and the shops were all mostly closed or empty during the day. It was quite disappointing and sad to see such a great area not utilised. It can be such a great family place again…I know it used to be bustling and busy before. It will be worse once Costco moves.

Loved the location. Breakfast was really enjoyable. Room service food exceptional. Loved the club benefits but the food a little disappointing. Didn't use pool facilities as quite crowded on warm days. Walked to South Warf DFO and enjoyed the District facilities for things to do.

A little disappointed with the food in the club room. First time we went no food left. Second time arrived early but felt options were limited.

This was my second stay at the Marriott Docklands for a staycation, and it didn’t disappoint! I picked the perfect warm weekend to enjoy the rooftop pool, which is easily the best in Melbourne. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided a warm welcome, and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. The rooms were spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and overall, it was a fantastic stay. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Breakfast was great, unfortunately we didn’t get to have dinner in the restaurant as we had concert and theatre plans. Hayley from reception was very professional and at the same time so kind, we appreciated it very much. The hand written note and slice was very touching. Being so close to the D was a plus. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

We booked through Booking.com and it would be nice to have known the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday.

Got the package that includes valet and late checkout. Free Tram zone only 2 mins walk. Shopping centre nearby if doesn't want to go the CBD. Love the infinity pool and jacuzzi (although it was a bit cold, still loving it). Most facilities were excellent. Staff were nice. We didn't have breakfast there, so I can't comment, but it seems cozy.

The aircon in the room we stayed in doesn't seem to work. We set the temperature at 18°C and fan speed at 3, but we didn't feel like an air-conditioning room, and we were still sweating. For a 5-star hotel, at least the aircon should have worked perfectly, or at least we shouldn't be sweating in the room. We have reported the issue, and they said they would check, but nothing was fixed. Even a friend of mine who stayed at various hotels visited our room and agreed with me that the aircon didn't work. Although late checkout until 1 pm was included. We still have to ask at the reception to have access to the room after 10 am, which is quite annoying. Since it includes late checkout, guests shouldn't need to ask for it.

I upgraded to a superior twin room with breakfast included. Room dining service is ok and love the salmon chop. The infinity pool is heated with 28 degrees and Jacuzzi with 37 degrees temp. Nice view of docklands especially sunset view at 8:45pm. With sauna inside women’s bathroom and gym beside. Facilities are clean. Breakfast is a typical australian buffet with beans mushroom tomato egg sausages bacon etc. staff are attentive and friendly overall recommended for another stay and will book once again. Thanks for the lovely hotel and good to experience the highly sought infinity pool and love that i chose the time that its not crowded so spectacular view has been enjoyed
