We knew the location was right for us from a previous visit. The rooms were clean and practical and the bed was comfortable.
There was only one hand towel in the ring and none on the towel rail leaving us both a bath towel for showering, I feel we should have had a hand towel each for showering as per previous trips elsewhere. Just 4 hangers in the wardrobe was very poor. Bedroom TV was erratic, sometimes the channels would not load and the remote wasn’t very responsive. Balcony was too small for 2 people thus 1 chair provided. No toilet brush provided. A dust pan and brush would have been useful as cleaning only provided once a week.

We booked 3BR apartment , water front, for 2nights. We arrived on 22nd Dec 2024 in the evening (7pm). Thank to the front desk lady who's willing to escort us , in a heavy rain, to go to the apartment next door. It's very spacious, and the view are amazing, facing to the harbour, the room is big, neat and clean. Regret for staying only for 2 nights. Wish we could stay longer.
The carpet below the sofa is quite dirty so I need to vacuum it once again, but it has a lot of stain. However , despite that old carpet, everything is wonderful. PErhaps the solid wall facing the harbour can be replaced with glass from bottom so we can have full view over the beautiful harbour.

Location was perfect for all free tram network. Access to unit was easy and well explained by Sebel staff. Pool and gym were great and we used it 3 of the 6 days we were there. Accommodation was a one bedroom studio apartment. With tons of storage. You are walking distance to The District for Hoyts Woolworths, Bars and the new Banksy exhibition just wow!
Having to open the fridge to use the microwave…I know bizarre right. Internet was free but due to the location was unusable at night. We luckily had our chrome cast that made it a little better. We had two rainy nights but if you are out and about exploring your whole time this will not affect you at all as why sit inside to watch a movie hey!!

A shoutout and big thanks to Adi, Trammie and Ned for going above and beyond in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Actually we found the apartment here too large and scattered for two people (the bedrooms were on separate floors; Wi-Fi password is not readily available so you can connect to the internet via your phone quickly but not your laptop); but an apartment in the sister establishment (Sebel Melbourne Docklands Hotel) suddenly became available due to a cancellation, and Adi kindly offered us the option to stay there instead and so we did. It was lovely.

The Sebel Residence at Docklands is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you're traveling with pets. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering beautiful views of the waterfront. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. One highlight is the pet-friendly policy, which made it so convenient to bring our furry friend along.
The only downside is the steep parking fee at $40 per night, which felt excessive. Despite that, we had a great stay and would definitely return!

The location and facilities were good, staff are friendly, helpful and know the area well.
Would have been better if there had been a booklet in the room explaining where trash chutes are and some general knowledge of the hotel. Also would have liked to know about the $200 security payment on arrival. It does get reimbursed but can take a few days to a week and if the customer is not prepared for it, it can leave them in a bit of a lerch.

Great view, very spacious and clean apartment. Great facilities and well located in Docklands. Was great for our group of 6 people, had everything we needed. Would stay there again!
We had issues with the parking advertised at 2.1 max clearance however once inside the carpark, the clearance dropped to 2m which was frustrating as our car was a bit high. Staff were helpful to get this sorted for us by provding an alternative park. Little things but would have made a difference: Only 1 pillow per person provided... a second pillow would have been nice! A rubbish bin in the bathroom would have been convenient, as would a hand towel in the toilet. Apartment was very clean and lovely, however probably needs a bit of an update (carpets etc) at some stage - quite worn in places. Overall these are little things - overall it was very good!

Location, view and facilities were perfect. Staff were very accommodating in letting us check in 1 hour early as we had our 1 yr old twin grandkids needing a nap and bath before we attended an event. Communication response time regarding checking in early was fantastic also Apartment had everything we needed
Bath tub wasn’t cleaned properly. This accommodation was a bit more expensive than other properties of the same size. Parking was also more expensive given we had 2 cars and unable to give us a reduced rate on parking.

Pros: -Staff was extremely friendly & helpful -WONDERFUL location!! Close to tram, shopping and excellent restaurants -Apartment was comfortable as well as beds -Great pool and gym -Air conditioning
Cons: -VERY loud, the windows don’t do a very good job of keeping the street/city noise out -Patio was very small, with the patio set provided there was no room to actually sit and use it -Room could use a fresh coat of paint, it was clean and well maintained IF you don’t look too closely -We found two different items in the room that were from previous occupants. So cleaning before we got there could have been better
