Our room was a King. The bed was comfortable. We had an issue with an electrical outlet not working and the staff fixed it right away. The provided hair dryer did not work in the bathroom outlet, so I had to use it attached to a wall outlet in the room; the cord was a bit short, so it was a little awkward. The closet was not what I would have preferred; hinged hanging bars, instead of a simple bar across the width of the closet. The very large pillows on the bed were great. The room had plenty of cups and glasses for use, and a coffee maker with good coffee. The location of the hotel is fantastic - very walkable location, near plenty of restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was very good, with a choice of either the buffet (same items every day, but a good variety) or ordering from the kitchen. The breakfast is definitely understaffed, but they hustle hard and make sure everyone gets what they need or want, eventually. I'd say the best part of this hotel is the staff.

Not being able to use the hair dryer in the bathroom.

The hotel was in a nice location with a great view. Justin #1 cconcierge.. He was informative, pleasant and very patient. Justin helped us set our Niagara Falls Tour trip, gave us tips regarding Citypass experience and directions around the city (including transportation) Justin you are essentially the hotel's experts on the local area and are dedicated to making guests' stays comfortable and memorable. Thank-you!

The bed was a little to soft and the toilet and bathtub stopped up. Glad it was our last night. Wish the rooms were more spacious and didn't have carpet.

Our room was spacious and clean. House keeping were brilliant. Tim on reception was exceptional on our arrival - really polite and cheerful. Location of hotel is great for exploring Toronto. We were able to leave luggage for the day of check out which helped us out greatly and allowed us to get a remaining few hours of sight-seeing in. Didn't catch the concierge's name who helped us book a taxi to the airport but he was great.

This is not a negative for the hotel, this is just something we wish to highlight with the hotel. We organised a flat rate taxi via the hotel to Pearson airport for our flight home. On arrival, the taxi driver charged extra than the flat rate - we did not have time to contest this with the driver as we were running late.

Room very comfortable check in was great and pool facilities were welcoming .

There is no value for money in breakfast .. Do not fall for this as unfortunately i did . $32.00 CAD is £18.85 in £ .00 and after adding tax you pay £21.45 for basically scrambled egg , bacon , sausage. this is the buffet menu .. Doesn't compare to a premier Inn breakfast back home so don't get caught out. I did make a constructive dissatisfaction comment on check out but i was dismissed as it seemed irrelevant as the pricing for breakfast was displayed .

The Doubletree Hilton is centrally located, close to a subway stop (Saint Patrick’s), making it easy to get around the city from Union Station. There are several restaurants nearby, as well as one in the hotel itself that is very good. The staff is excellent, always asking if there’s anything you need, and bringing it promptly when you do need something. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a fridge and coffee maker in each room. You have a choice of daily cleaning, every other day, or on the third day, so as to be eco friendly. Everything in the room worked, and the TV was easy to use and good- sized. The hotel has a pool and a gym, which is really nice. We definitely enjoyed our stay in Toronto.

Although we were given the option of cleaning choices and we chose no cleaning during our 3 night stay, the cleaning staff came in after 2 days to bring new towels and clean. This meant they’d have to do it all again the very next day when we were leaving. We could have easily waited.

The hotel is in a great location, central and close to the city hall. The staff were very helpful and friendly on entering the hotel and gave us all cookies on arrival which were warm and delicious. The suite we booked was very spacious and perfect for a family with adult teenagers. The pool and gym facilities were good. We didn't have breakfast, but the kitchenette meant we were able to cook a meal and have breakfast in the suite. There were plenty of lifts which meant we never had to wait long, essential as we were on the 16th floor.

There was nothing we didn't like about the stay

Hotel is in an excellent location if you are visiting Toronto for the first time and want to hit the major touristic attractions. Most of them are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transit. The service is courteous and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was fairly comfortable.

The bathtub was rather old and had rust spots. The air conditioner/ heat pump was rather loud and could not be turned off. Several of the elevators were out of service on one of the days, making going up or down very slow. Sound proofing of the door was not great. We could hear conversations in the corridor very clearly, which was particularly annoying at night.

The location is great, the staff goes above and beyond, I asked for a last minute surprise for my wife for Mother's day and they got us a plate of chocolate strawberries and macarons when they did the room and she found it when we arrived back at the hotel after a long day of visiting, which was a great surprise and made her really happy. Everything was clean and they gave us extra bottles of water and towels when we requested them.

The thing that is improvable is the accessible room, I am a wheelchair user and even if I did not have problems to access my room and the doors were wide enough to fit through them, the room was a little tight for an accessible room and the bath tub was not very adapted.

Very clean, comfortable beds, l slept very well. The bathroom is very clean .love that the shower, Jell shampoo, and conditioner were easy to get to so much more convenient. Great idea. Absolutely front desk staff. So accommodating and friendly. I forgot my phone charger, and the lovely young lady let me borrow one. I wish I had gotten her name. It was Saturday evening, around 9:30-10:00 pm.on June 7th. 2025. I was so very grateful for her doing so. Also the cleaning staff were extremely pleasant to talk to.

Everything except the price. Really surprised that breakfast was not included. I have been to several hotels including Europe, and even the least expensive hotel includes breakfast. Including hotels in Niagara Falls.

Mesha at the front desk and Jay the concierge are AMAZING!!! They seriously are extraordinary go beyond expectations and are super helpful, the hotel is so well located with so many shopping and dining options. The room is also beautiful, organized, and with a small but nice view, the breakfast is really good and the people at the restaurant is super kind. A massive shout out because I explained that I was there for a wedding and needed an early check in and they were able to fulfill my request, I will definitely be staying there again!

There is a guy in reception that couldn't care any less about guest, but it is just him. The frame in the bathroom and the back of the door had little splashes and stains. I attempted to clean the one behind the bathroom door just out of curiosity as wasnt sure if it was a stain or permanent and it came off, the frame you could see it was dirty, not major not big deal but more attention to detail in the cleaning of the bathroom would be great.
