The room smelled really nice, which was refreshing after a heavy rain on our arrival. It was super clean and very well located in the centre of town. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. They even gave us packed breakfast the day we were checking out earlier than the breakfast start time. The room was spacious and the bathroom even more spacious, also providing bath robes.

On departure, there was a slight mix-up with the taxi due to a marathon and road closures. The hotel seemed unclear and in the end we took a random taxi from the street rather than the one they had booked for us the day before and ended up paying double the amount to reach the airport.

Very well situated hotel and even if it is in the center of things it was very quiet. Absolutely lovely building with lots of beautiful plants, cosy rooftop area. Very polite and welcoming staff. Comfortable bed.

The rooftop jacuzzi was a bit dirty with murky water although the rest of the establishment was very clean. We had quite a dark room with little natural light, although we were not very bothered by that spending most of our time outside. The only hotel in Colombia where you had to pay extra to get both eggs and a pancake :)

Great air conditioning. There was a rooftop terrace which was hardly used by other guests and we mostly had it to ourselves. One of us had a birthday during the stay and the staff bought out pancakes with candles for breakfast, nice touch.

Breakfast was a bit basic, though we didn’t have much appetite due to the heat so wasn’t a problem in itself. It was difficult to get the shower to the perfect Goldilocks heat, though this was also a problem at another Colombian hotel we stayed at,

The hotel has an amazing location, is a colonial house with 8 rooms, therefore you never will feel the other guest. Karen is an amazing host who helped us a lot with everything The food and the service ia very good

The hotel doesn't have a real pool and the jacuzzi in the terrace isn't a great option to spend time, also the view from the terrace is a basic one. During our stay the hotel had a construccion in one of the room and we had to ask Karen to stop the same.

The hotel is great, small and quiet. Staff is friendly and always around. The breakfast is very good! And more importantly, the location is amazing, best area to stay in Old Cartagena, just off the most beautiful plaza.

A bit too small for my taste, the pool was tiny and the room as well. Circulations around the hotel are tight and the conditioned areas are only the rooms and cafe... the hotel is mostly outdoor, which can become very hot around the summer. Rooms should have a desk, or at least a small table to work in.

The staff were Really friendly, and Helpful! Great Location, and Beautiful rooms/amenities. Mostly quiet and peaceful. Air conditioning working great! Breakfast was really good.

• Bathroom was hard for two people to use (door was very close to sink) • Full body mirror on bathroom door was not convenient to use, would make more sense with it on a wall in the room, or on entrance door. • Sink was leaking on 2nd day which had puddle of water on floor. • Bed / Room was smaller than anticipated. • Dinner Menu was really really basic, and average.

Location was great, room was always icy cold, bed was very comfortable. Good shower, bathroom had door (not a sliding door). Breakfast kept us full until lunch.

Internet went down during check in but staff was lovely and got us juice while we waited. Our room was directly next to plunge pool and one afternoon a loud group of adults were at the pool while we tried to nap.

quiets clean rooms in a great location

be careful, when you check in they have you fill out paperwork, which I assumed was just a check in form, but apparently it was for additional medical insurance. So I was hit with an unexpected charge. I have travel insurance so this additional insurance was a waste of money especially since I did not know I had it until I was hit with additional charges at check out. it is deceptive on the part of the hotel not to fully explain this. I questioned the charge at check out was they would not waive it. So be careful when you check in.

Excellent location for all Cartagena has in the walled city. Private and noise free, easy to sleep. Comfy bed. Breakfast is excellent, daily menu all cooked to order items. Fruit fresh, lovely juice.

Shower water pressure is minimal, so slow. Bedrooms are tiny, too small for two people at times unless just sleeping. The pool is very small if the hotel is full and you'll be unlikely to be able to use it at all. Property is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel.

This is a beautiful little hotel, the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough. The roof terrace is beautifully maintained and so nice, day or night. The room closest to reception is a little small and a little strange being so close to reception but we loved our stay despite this.
