Shower cabin is a mess, it was impossible to take a shower without spilling the water to all the bathroom as the cabin doors do not fit tightly to the floor

Our experience at Living Hotel Berlin Mitte was truly enjoyable. The hotel is located in a peaceful and charming neighborhood, right by the river. One of the biggest advantages is the S-Bahn station just outside the hotel — incredibly convenient for exploring Berlin. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. One of the small but very appreciated touches was the complimentary minibar: each day we received two bottles of water and two Berlin Pilsener beers, which was a nice way to relax after a day out. There’s a well-equipped gym just across the street, free for hotel guests — a great bonus for those who want to stay active. Breakfast, priced at €19, was fresh, varied, and delicious — definitely worth it. The hotel’s central location made it easy to reach all the major sights, but it still felt calm and quiet — a rare and valuable combination in a big city. Overall, it was excellent value for money. We were very satisfied with our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Extraneous and useless furniture, such as large old chairs and a large old desk, took up unnecessary space. Broken glass on the carpet cut my foot, causing it to bleed. Curtains fell off their tracks, but despite repeated requests over many days, yet no one bothered to fix them. Pillows were too soft and too thin. No shampoo, no conditioner was provided.

The hotel is on one of the canals leading to one of the rivers with 4 really good restaurant’s on its banks. The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were a very good size for European hotels. They give you 2 waters and 2 beers in the refrigerators. The sister hotel across the street allows access to their gym, sauna and jacuzzi. They also have a washer and dryer in the basement of both hotels with access for hotel guests. The U-bahn is right on the corner giving guests access to all areas of Berlin and it’s a 5 minute nite walk to the Museum Square. All of these attributes are at a very affordable price. We totally enjoyed our stay.

"A lovely little hotel in a perfect location!" Living Hotel Berlin Mitte is in a fantastic location – tucked away by the water, peaceful and cozy, yet just steps away from all the main attractions, easily reachable on foot. The hotel itself is small, charming, and very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly, always smiling and ready to help. We especially appreciated the option to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which made our stay much easier. A perfect place for a relaxed and convenient stay in Berlin.

We honestly have no complaints, everything was great and even exceeded our expectations. Warmly recommended!

Brilliant location right by an underground station and bus stops or about 15 minutes on foot to Alexanderplatz. We had a lovely big space, like a mini apartment with two bedrooms and a small galley kitchen. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby for breakfast or dinner. The hotel also gave us two beers and two bottles of water, each, free of charge!

I don't think there is anything negative to say!

The location was great. Easily connected to public transit and a wonderful central location to walk to many attractions throughout the city. The room was spacious and clean. Most importantly, the staff were terrific. I careless left my passport in the room and realized this on my way to the airport. A quick call to the hotel and my passport was discovered and my travels were saved! Thank you.

I would liked a/c in the room and public areas but given the price point and the quality of the room and staff, I wouldn't let this dissuade you from staying here. That said, I would likely to choose a more expensive option in the summer and stay here on holidays during the rest of the year.

Great location near the Museuminsel and public transport. There's also several coffee shops/bakeries nearby. The room was very cosy, good sunlight, confortable beds and a great shower in the bathroom. Windows can be opened. There's a kettle with instant coffee & tea, a bottle opener, and a large fan. I didn't try the sauna but it's just across the street from the reception.

Too bad there is no AC, though there is a large fan in the room to cool down. You only get one key (actual key not an access card) per room, even if you're two people. While you can then leave that key at the reception when you're going out, I was quite surprised no one even asked me for my name (let alone to show some proof) when coming back to the hotel and requesting the room key. I actually got handed the wrong key one evening (right room number but wrong floor)... did not feel very safe leaving any valuables in my actual room after that...

The room size was really good, lots and lots of room for sitting area, for luggage and a sizable corridor inside to take off your shoes. We also booked just across the street at Living Hotel Großer Kurfürst, which I think was the same company. So if you are in groups or something then you have additional chance of rooms in the other one :)) Location was spot on! on a good metro line (you have annoying changing lines sometimes), bicycle parking just downstairs and if you are like me a walking wanderer its not far from center. Breakfast was nice buffet type.

The interior a bit outdated, across the street at Living Hotel Großer Kurfürst had a far better lobby :)))
