Location and breakfast. Beds are comfortable.

Cleaning could be improved, toiletries and towels not as complete as other hotels in that area but not too big of a deal.

Liked: Stable and reliable Wi-Fi, once connected. All facilities working, comfortable environment, hot water, room temperature etc. Adjacent to bus & train stations and other main facilities. Friendly and helpful staff in limited contact we had. Disliked: No telephone in room, so unable to contact reception quickly if needed, other than going to front desk in person. A dedicated touchpad is provided, but this requires navigating through various useless promotional info, and does not provide the info required. Still need to leave a text or email message and wait for a reply. Quicker to go to desk in person. We had booked twin beds, not a double. This had been requested and acknowledged in advance, but we still got the double. We were offered a change, so the twins were available, but we declined as it wasn't such a big issue and we had already settled in. To log in to Wi-Fi we needed a specific username which hadn't been provided. This was provided immediately we requested it by receptionist, but doesn't appear anywhere else as far as I could see. Conclusion: We think there may be too much reliance on automated procedures, and not enough attention to detail, presumably in order to save costs. Otherwise, no other observations and we were generally very happy with our experience. Thank you.

Location is near the train station and bus depot so perfect if travelling with cases etc . Hotel was spotless and staff very knowledgeable and polite. Lemon/ mint infused water available at reception which was lovely after travelling. Breakfast on the top floor with most amazing views of Salzburg. Hot and continental breakfast was nice and plentiful . Bed extremely comfortable . Nice handwash etc and large makeup mirror. Checkout at 12 and storage for cases. We were given a bus travel card to use throughout our stay which was more than generous . Everything just perfect .

Nothing to dislike about this hotel at all. Location wise not right in the middle towards the old town but it is perfect for the station etc so I infact preferred this .

Quick and efficient check-in. Friendly and very courteous staff. The hotel is very conveniently located, with also an on-site secure car park. The main station is close by and the city centre and main attractions are just a 20 minute walk away. Breakfast is ample and very good, with lots of choice. Compliments to the chef! The Braurestaurant IMLAUER is only a 4 minute walk from the hotel, and well worth a visit. As is a vist to the 'Cozy Cafe' for a welcoming coffee in charming surroundings.

The twin bed in our particular room, though very comfortable, was oriented next to a wall. Not ideal and not as in the photos on the Booking website.

I recently stayed at Austria Trend Hotel Europa Salzburg with family and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel has an inviting atmosphere, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. While the housekeeping could use some improvement, it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of the stay. One of the highlights is the breakfast served on the top floor, offering a generous spread along with stunning panoramic views of the mountains—an ideal way to start the day. The hotel’s location is unbeatable. Situated right next to both the bus and railway stations, it's probably the best-connected hotel in all of Salzburg, making transportation incredibly convenient. Most tourist attractions are either a short walk or a quick ride away, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend Austria Trend Hotel Europa to fellow travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great value in Salzburg.

The Hotel is right opposite the train station sitting on a huge plaza which is also the main bus station right in front of the hotel. On the opposite side of the plaza is a shopping mall with restaurants and a SPAR. A short walk from the hotel and you reach old town. For me the location was perfect. The hotel is absolutely perfect with stunning views over Salzburg. Room was big and comfortable, mini bar - which was great. Modern bathroom with shower and bath. The breakfast - amazing- full cold and hot buffet and the hot breakfast was different every morning. This is a great hotel to stay over in Salzburg.

Luggage storage service is a GREAT help! I asked around at least five hotels in Salzburg and none of them is willing to keep my luggage overnight after check-out. Only here. That was why I chose to pay more to stay here. I mean, hotels in Salzburg are mostly over-priced and yet most of them refuse to offer some decent services, which was very disappointing. And the hotel arranged us on high floor where we had a very amazing, breathtaking view! The room is also in a very good size and the bathtub! I just love everything the hotel offers.

I hope carpet is thoroughly cleaned everyday as it has a lot of old stains on it.

Best location if you are traveling and need easy access to the main train station or buses. Also very close to mini marts, supermarkets and some great food spots. Breakfast was great - good variation for everyone.

Breakfast eggs (scrambled) were a bit runny and maybe a different meat option daily could be nice instead of just sausages. As far as the rooms, the shower glass needs to extend just another inch or two to stop water flooding onto bathroom floor and the shower head attachment was quite annoying as it slowly turns down to shower the wall (you cannot shower hands free).

Room was comfortable and had a mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities, and some drinks and snacks provided. I had specifically requested twin beds but on arrival we were initially allocated a double bed. Luckily, this was quickly remedied and we got the set-up we wanted. The location was very handy, practically opposite the railway station and only 10 minutes' walk to the centre. The view from the breakfast room on the 15th floor was stunning (see photo). The hotel provided left-luggage facilities on check-out, which was useful for hands-free sightseeing during the day until our late-afternoon train departure.

We had a slight misunderstanding re breakfast, as we didn't realise that 10.30 was not the time of the last breakfast serving, but the time that they close the breakfast room! Arriving at 10, we had a slightly rushed breakfast. You snooze, you lose!

The best thing about this hotel are their staff and the view of the hotel. The receptionist is very helpful and friendly. She let us check-in early. The room is ready when us come. I really appreciate that because we have long train and quite tired at that time. Thus, it is great to checked in immediately when we had arrived at the hotel. The view is very spectacular. We can see the Salzburg city, Hohensalzburg from our room. And we can also have great view from the corridor of the hotel. The location is also great, it is easier to catch train, trams…

I don’t like the breakfast. They really need to improve their meal.
