It was a really lovely spot for families with so much for the kids to do. There is a great selection of pools and playgrounds for younger kids. It is clean and everything is very well maintained. Our apartment had everything we needed and was spotless. Our was very spacious & the kids had loads of space to run around. The staff are very pleasant. The beach close by is beautiful. I had a lovely family holiday here & will be back.

The mini market on site is very expensive. It feels like tourist are being exploited. There is a larger supermarket about 1.5km away that we went to instead.

This is an excellent hotel for adults and families with children. The location is perfect, with access to a beautiful beach. The rooms have everything you need, only pots and pans stick so they are unsuitable for long cooking. The great advantages are the plants and the outdoor covered swimming pool, although I must admit that if one of the outdoor swimming pools were heated, the hotel would meet all expectations. It's too hot in a covered pool, and standing waiting for the kids is hard. A heated outdoor pool would be ideal. Besides, it's my place on earth. I highly recommend

Mini market way over priced, we request 2 cots, 1 of them smelt really musty/moldy, food in the restaurant/bar beside village was not great, all frozen stuff even seafood, unless you where ordering salad I don't think any thing was freshly cooked, pool bar food was nicer..

Breakfast, staff, cleaning, facilities and surroundings and beaches and paths, activities are all fab.

They put us in a apartment that had an a pathway lamp that was right up on next to the front of the balcony and shone right in the living area and was not very pleasant blocking the ocean view. The front desk seemed to try to minimize the matter, though we were allowed to move, it would have been very inconvenient. We specifically asked for a good ocean view and good WiFi. The apartment was a bit off to the side of the ocean, but still nice. The WiFi was very bad and I could not conduct my work meeting properly most times and then had to use my phone.

Next to a beautiful beach and in a safe area it can be enjoyed no matter the weather. Food at Restaurant Bougainville was very good, and fair price for a nice dinner. Kids enjoy the indoor pool as during winter we couldn't enjoy the outdoor ones.

The washing machines do not have washing liquid, I know of industrial washing machines with already the liquid included, it is a waste to buy a bottle for only three washes. Sofa bed the steel frame is protruding on the sides so we have to place pillows all over so the children don't hurt themselves with it.

Beautiful location and loved the greenery everywhere. We live in the UK and went there for sunshine. Was blessed with lots of of sunshine and stunning views directly from our bedroom. Sea facing apartment with so much greenery around. It was superb holiday in Jan first week. Food was nice as well just that in the restaurant the area for breakfast and dinner was way too small and used to get super crowded and disorganised during the peak times.

No dishwasher in the apartment and not even normal tea bags and milk sort of facilities. You have to buy everything from the mini market within the resort which doesn’t make sense for a 4 nights holiday. Also, found the staff was super slow and not that friendly not sure if thats because of language barrier but there were 3-4 staff members behind the desk always but everyone had to wait for long time for service.

Lush and well maintained grounds, indoor pool, good adventure playground, direct access to the beach with breathtaking views. Friendly restaurant staff that made us and the kids feel very welcome. Parking right outside the apartment. We enjoyed how quiet it was at this time of the year and had the best winterbreak!

We were not advised beforehand that swimming caps are compulsory in the indoor pool (sold at the reception) or that there was a cash deposit of £10 per swimming towel on top of the £5 hire fee. Everything else was

Resort has everything you need and want. Safe and everything within access. Catered for everyone needs. Children and adults enjoyed all the pools and within 10mins walk to beach.

Next time I would book extra room just because couch bed not suitable for growing children

Excellent resort .Immaculately clean . Plenty of helpful friendly staff. Several pools including a kiddies pool with slides , Pool activities organised daily by enthusiastic staff. A couple of restaurants onsite with lovely food and nightly entertainment. A playground attached to the Buganvilla restaurant so kids could run off after eating. Very picturesque resort on a cliff top overlooking the sea . The beach is a short walk down some steep steps ( might be an issue for an elderly or disabled person ) Loads of water activities on the beach. Good on-site mini market. Rooms cleaned and towels replaced most days Only a short taxi ride to Albufeira, Zoo marine and the Water park. Taxis organised by helpful reception staff. Fabulous place . Highly recommended

Only real issue is the sleeping arrangements Lovely big bedroom with two big single beds and plenty storage and safe. But the sofa bed in the sitting room was very uncomfortable Probably more suited to younger kids than my tall teenagers.

Really good value for money. Lots of pools including indoor heated and covered heated. The beach on site is lovely there’s also a few good play parks on-site for children. Clean apartments, mini market has good variety. Entertainment each night. 5 min taxi from old town and strip. 10 min walk to some bars and restaurants. Breakfast was decent enough.
