Close to the airport and downtown

THE SLIDING BALCONY DOORS ARE NOISY

The most impressive aspect was the extremely kind hotel staff who made our stay even more enjoyable. They were always there to help—not just with hotel-related matters, but with everything else as well. The room was nice, spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds. The balcony was also large. It would have been better if there had been one more chair on the balcony (there were three of us, and only two chairs), but we used one from the room, so it wasn’t a big issue. The wardrobe is large and can fit a lot of items.

The only complaint is related to the location. There is a medical facility near the hotel, and you can hear ambulance 24 hours a day, which can often wake you up during the night.

Staff not friendly. For some reason, they charged twice the tax than was shown in my booking and that I’d paid in other hotels in the area (4 euros as opposed to 2).

We really liked the room, it was big and comfortable. We appreciate the water in tha room. The breakfast was also nice, a lot of choices. On our last day we had an early flight and they gave us a breakfast box to go. Really recommend to stay here.

Great location, metro station very nearby. A little bit old-fashioned but very clean and spacious room, great breakfast with wide range of different types of bread, pastries, juices, hot beverages, fruit, vegetables, cold and warm dishes. The restaurant offered great buffet-dinner during our stay with a fair price. They have a free storage room for luggages in case you have time between checkout and your flight or ride. Helpful staff. The location is noisy but with the windows closed, we didn't hear anything from the traffic outside. Sometimes, we heard noises from other rooms, but it was not disturbing. All in all, we are happy that we stayed here and would chose Hotel Roma again.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and my room was spacious and big for a solo traveller. I had a comfortable king-size bed all to myself and a nice balcony view of the area. There was a wide variety of food at the breakfast buffet, and the juices were fresh and delicious. I'll happily rebook this hotel when I'm visiting Lisbon again.

There was no menu in the room for room service or info book next to the phone to show the number to call for reception or other services. The sliding door to the balcony was a bit stiff and difficult to open & close. There was nothing in the mini bar fridge or complimentary water.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and had good air conditioning. The bed was large and soft but firm. The room was very clean and tidy every day. The breakfast was also very good, with a good variety of options, including natural juices, etc. The staff were always very attentive and proactive. Checking in at reception was quick and easy. The baggage handler, who was proactive, helped us with our bags when we got out of the car. We arrived very early due to our flight and had no problems keeping our bags at the hotel until our check-in time, so we could start enjoying the city. The hotel is also located close to the metro and metropolitan train, and has many bus options, and is not far from the airport.

The elevator is a bit small and sometimes slow, but this did not affect our comfort. There is sometimes a line for breakfast, but it is not very long.

Although not in downtown Lisbon, I liked the location, a few minutes from the Roma metro station, we could get into the middle of the city within 25-30 minutes by public transport and the trains to Sintra, where we have also gone are leaving from right next to the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, the front desk staff helpful with all requests.

The property is a bit outdated, you could see some chipping in the bathroom tiles and a slightly broken showerhead, the mattress was too soft for my liking, but of course its a personal preference.

Breakfast was excellent with great eggs, nicely cooked bacon, pastels de nata, fresh fruit and so much more. Only stayed one night on stopover (cheap uber to/from airport) but wouldn’t hesitate to stay for long stay in Lisbon. Was super close to metro. We took the green line (6ish stops)to main sites for afternoon and evening and saw a lot. Room was clean, and plenty big for a longer stay when we only needed the bed for the night. Enjoyed the balcony and soccer/football pitch across the way to watch some teens play(at 10:30 pm). Wasn’t too noisy but a bit of neighbor room noise and street noise. We were tired and closed double slider doors and heavy curtains and it was fine.

Nothing

The rooms we booked were spotless. They were comfy and clean and they were able to give us rooms close together. We chose this location to be somewhat close to the airport the night before we return back home. It's located in between the old town and the airport but it was still nice to walk around and to have dinner at one of the many restaurants around.

There isn't much we didn't like. The only thing I can think of is one side of the building is next to a train station. So obviously, you can hear them come and go pretty late in the night.
