Surfers Paradise Breakfast was too expensive

Thought the food and drink were too expensive My main problem was getting to the car, The carpark was not marked well, and I ended up in a public parking lot. When I was leaving, I asked for the best way to get to the carpark, I was sent down a hallway to a very rough lift. It had 3 levels and I didn't know which level to go to, so I got off on level one and walked through a door looking for the car, but it was the wrong floor, when I tried to get back to the lift I found out the doors only opens from the other side, so I got lock in there and wandered down stairs and hallways trying to get out, ended up finding a fire door and set the alarm off getting out

Great value for you and your crew during week (prices obviously go up on weekends). Very close to beach (on the beach side of Gold Coast Highway). Not exactly immaculately maintained, but I got a large room on the 17th floor with sweeping views of the ocean and a small balcony to walk out onto. Air con worked well and I got a good night's sleep. Reception were lovely, friendly and informative.

The many steps up from the underground carpark ($20 per night) and no lift is a major problem. They also need to get rid of the locked doors to and from the car park. It's unnecessary.

Room was spacious & had easy access to transport - & surfers paradise central Room was serviced everyday. I had city/ocean view which was a bonus !

The electronic card for access was faulty & spent time in lift just going up & down (Once new card issed was fine) The lap pool was just a bath full off water - the jets for spa & pool not operating ! One night had loud neighbours above me out in the balcony - let it go untill 12.30am b4 reporting to reception , eventually got to sleep 2am . Went down next morning to express my concerns they said mangement would contact me. I expressed my concerns & asked if they could recredit one nights accommodation they said the best they could do is give me a breakfast voucher- (better than nothing i suppose) !!

Convenient location for my purpose. Spa baths were a great addition, and the balcony allowed for a birds eye view of the city & beach.

I would comment about the parking as it was a little confusing when confronted with a public carpark. Following that there was no way into the property from the back door & the phone was constantly engaged. Luckily another hotel guest was heading to his car, so we were able to enter the Hotel foyer. I think the property should state its parking at $20 night payable after you park & when you check in. additionally, supply a code for the back door via a message the day of the expected arrival.

The breakfast was good and convenient. Was in walking distance to Surface and Cavill for walks and to purchase food. Was convenient for access to a pharmacy and a grocer nearby. Was a good and easy location for Ubers. Check out was easy.

Was noisy at night. The hotel did not have a restaurant to cater for dinner. The car park facilities was not good with the stairs and carrying of luggage. The stairways did not have a pleasant smell and just out of the doors there were cigarette smells.

Location was good, Housekeeping was great and the lady that was cleaning our was very friendly. I would give here 10 out of 10.

I was disappointed that the Spa pools were luke warm. I have stayed and a few Mantras in the last 6 months and it has always been an aswsome stay. I enjoy a spa that is why I booked 7 night at Mantra on view as there was more than one spa pool so it would not be crowded. I did mention it to reception that I was unhappy and she said she would pass it on. I didnt get any feedback. If I knew that I wouldnt have booked our whole holiday at Mantra on view.

We didn't like the first room 1402 as it affected my asthma. We enjoyed the music coming from the Cali Beach resort behind but unfortunately the allergies got the better of me and I asked to get moved. We were placed in room 1407 after and it was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful, friendly and understanding with regards to my asthma and willing to move us to a different room. We will definitely be returning to this hotel and would like to be placed on the Cali Beach resort side, as long as the room has been aired and doesn't upset my allergies.

The first room 1402 upset my asthma as it appeared not to have been aired long enough prior to our arrival. It was clean but the mustiness messed with my allergies. I couldn't remain in the room as I couldn't sleep without having breathing difficulties. I tried sleeping in the bath, but it was uncomfortable and I still couldn't breathe well. I ended up sleeping with the doors open, on the ground with my head out by the door for fresh air. I didn't get much sleep the first night, as it was difficult to breathe in that stuffy room that felt like it hadn't been opened up and aired for weeks, which affected my asthma.

Me and my wife stayed here while exploring places, the view and room was amazing, staff were so friendly and understanding, everything amazing especially that Nosh restaurant very not busy and easy to get down to while their food and drinks are amazing, only 1 issue I had which isn’t a big deal but did put me off especially coming from mantra Brisbane hotels, they were 3 cockroaches in the room and I had to kill all 3 to calm my pregnant wife down haha, besides thato definitely 10/10

We were in a twin room on the 18th floor. The room was comfortable and clean with incredible views to the sea and over the canals and city. The location is great, very near the tram station and close to beach, cafes and shopping. Car parking is available in the building next door. Express check out is handy.

Everything was as expected for a 3 star accomodation.

Location is excellent, minutes walk to centre and the beach. View from our balcony also very, very good, we could see the ocean and the city and really enjoyed sitting there having a coffee. A bit noisy with a building being built but cant blame anyone for that!. Room was clean and had everything you need for a short stay (stayed 1 day). Didn't interact a lot with staff but our small interactions were very good. Very eager to help.

Plunge/spa pools were freezing cold and unusable. It would have been a huge difference to be able to enjoy them. Apparently, they are being fixed and that's why they were cold but other guests told us it's always like this and that's a shame. Beds could have been firmer. The wardrobe wall showed signs of decay with plaster falling off.
